Did you go alone? I mean, no police escort or bodyguards. This woman does not always make sense. Is this a good time to be making such a joke when some Parents still have their children in the hands of the bandits and her husband is not taking it seriously? I just pray those bandits have not raped the ladies among the victims because the way some of them dressed in the video released is concerning.

We need to restructure this country. If we can't, let's split it peacefully. Some states in the North banned alcohol sales but they still collect alcohol sales VAT that FG generated from states that sell alcohol. If Quran is against alcohol, it should also be against collecting money generated from alcohol sales.
Career › Re: Addiction To Betting! What Is The Way Out? by saajus: 7:42am On Mar 29, 2021
The keyword is "one day". One day could be 10 years' time. People can't rely on one day because there is no unlimited bankroll. Every gambler will be profitable if there is unlimited cash.

Just keep playing one day you will cash out.. Nothing good come's easy bro. Let no body tempt you not to play the game is fun and people are winning.... Abi you no want win?. Let me burst your bubble, it is because you are about to win that is why you are having this thought ... Bro please keep playing the game the country no good grin
Career › Re: Addiction To Betting! What Is The Way Out? by saajus:
- you need an accountability partner that will be checking on you.

- Betting should be recreational but many people don't have the strength to handle it that way. The majority of people can't stop habits at once. I will advise you to stop gradually. Decide not to bet during the weekdays. Just weekend only. If you win, don't overplay. If you lose, don't "overchase". This will reduce your passion gradually. Also, take advantage of Int'l breaks cos you don't really have many games to choose from. Just don't play at all during Int'l breaks.

- You can also try a personal punishment style. If you decide not to bet during a week and your craving push you to bet, the amount you stake should be removed from the amount you spend on yourself for something. Let me explain. If your craving push you to stake 500 Naira and your lunch cost is always 1k Naira. It means you have to punish yourself by reducing your lunch to 500 Naira for that day. Maybe you have to eat without meat that day. Be careful o, this must not be applied to family, it must only be applied to what affect you personally. I always use this style anytime I lose money due to stupidity. When I lost money a few years ago to a money doubling scheme program that many of my friends warned me not to try, I decided I buy a new cloth/shoe for two years.

- Keep this at the back of your mind: Nobody can break the betting code. So far, it is a prediction of the future, nobody can erase the risk involved. The risk can just be lowered. Gambling is one of the oldest habits. The bookmakers don't lose. You can't send them packing.

- Get busier. Don't hang around friends that bet.

- You started betting because you need money, find alternative business opportunities that will occupy your mind. If you fancy online biz, try google Adsense, affiliate marketing or product selling on Instagram. To sell on IG without having any product, DM celebrities/individuals selling products you think it's marketable. Arrange percentage cut on any product you help them sell. Open IG, start adding people and market the products
Christianity Etc › Re: Is God Really Against Taking Alcohol Or Just Against Excess Of It? by saajus: 8:55am On Mar 28, 2021
Alcohol is not a sin. I don't have the time now, I would have brought a series of Bible verses. Moderation is the key. If a Christian can drink moderately, fine but picking up a Christian brother in the gutter is a big shame. The challenge with many people that drink is how to measure their limits. Generally, many people that drink know their limits but sometimes it fails. Your limit depends on several chemical balance on your body and sometimes if you take some strange food or drug, it could alter the limit. On such days, you will be surprised that you've only taken one bottle and you are already in the gutter.

I don't drink because I might not be able to control it not because it is a sin.

Honestly, I love my Northern brothers, but this marriage cannot work. Baba Ojukwu saw this 50 years ago. I don't want to come back to Nairaland 50 yrs' time and still be saying the same thing. The cultural values are so different and religion influence the thinking of both sides. Let's part ways in peace. India and Pakistan needed to separate. North Korea and South Korea follow suit. We could see how those countries pursue their passion after separation. Won't Northern Nigeria love to build a full-fledged Sharia constitution that all of them have been craving for? Won't they like to have a good relationship with other Muslim states cos after the split, they can fully join the association of Muslim states.
Timetravel88:
Korea had to split to Northern Korea and Southern Korea. Southern Korea is the most developed and economically viable of the 2 countries. In Nigeria when we talk about the disintegration of the contraption it's probably people like you that will kick against it. A united Nigeria is a financial debt trap.

God bless you. God will continue to provide for you so that you can always provide at home. You know many Nigerian parents don't know how to handle children. I laugh whenever people say our parents raised us well. I asked, who raised those criminal politicians, who raised our bandits, who raised our Boko haramist, who raised our fake Pastors/Imams, who raised people stealing money in our offices, who raise people collecting bribes in all our Govt parastatals. If they had raised us well, our society won't be this messy because people form family and family form society. Everything you see in Nigeria today is a reflection of our homes.

This generation needs to change the paradigm. Brute force is not always the answer. Every kid is peculiar. You shouldn't raise your last child the same way you raise your first child. They are different personalities. Some kids need to be pampered. They need incentives to do well. Some kids are mentally strong from their mother's womb, no matter how harshly you talk to them, they are still bouncing. We need to discover the category that each of our kid falls into and treat them differently. Our people thought Oyibo people are mad because they don't beat their kids at schl or home. They have done a series of research and discovered beating kids like armed robbers does not work.
starbuck:
We should limit the negative words we usually use on kids of nowadays because they are just too soft in nature..

My 11 year old has been giving me concerns academically until I decided to diverse another method to know if he can pick up no matter how little.. She told me that I should try to keep to the end of my own bargain

You are not serious. Do you really need to invite any Muslim terrorist to come and kill Americans? Americans alone are capable of exterminating themselves. The Las Vegas shooting in 2017 that claimed 61 lives was carried out by an American under Trump and there are several other shootings that happened during his tenure. You can buy a gun at a store in less than 10 minutes. They need to fix their gun laws to make sure guns are not in the hands of crazy people. Unfortunately, Republicans will not allow that to happen.

BIDEN IS ALSO BEGGING CHINA FROM THE POSITION OF WEAKNESS TO COME TO THE ROUND TABLE DESPITE CHINA KILLING OVER 550 MILLION AMERICANS WITH CORONA VIRUS AND ALSO QUESTIONING AMERICA DEMOCRACY.

BIDEN HAS DESTROY MEXICAN WALL AND ALLOW ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, DRUGS CARTELS AND INNOCENT PARENTLES CHILDREN TO COME IN, HE HAS APPROVE OF GAY AND HOMOSEXUAL AND LAVISH SPENDING ON NONE COVID ISSUE
Business › Re: Money Transfer Operators Authorised By CBN To Facilitate Remittances (Full List) by saajus:
I don't know how some of our leaders think. The first principle of increasing remittances is to make the process easy. In a country full of insecurity, people will be cashing out dollars and be looking for Bureau De Change. Also, some Nigerians abroad may want to be secretly sending cash into their naira account without family/friends interference cos people eyes are red here, now that is difficult. Make it easy for money to come in and make it extremely difficult for money to leave our shores. That's how Switzerland was able to develop its country with stolen money from stupid African leaders. You can open an account within 5mins in Switzerland but it may take 15-20 years for them to repatriate stolen money.

The writing is on the wall that they are trying to help our Northern Brothers that control the BDC sector because they are losing big time to peer-to-peer guys.
