'nobody' is a deleted profile. Once, a handler deletes his profile, all previous comment are attributed to nobody.

I understand that you're trying to market Biafra but how does this make any sense? You expect passengers enroute to Abuja to stop at Enugu and then make the rest of the journey (which is a 5 hours) by road? Bad road for that matter.

I'm not interested in marketing Biafra, I just want to move half of the businesses in Lagos to Enugu The people needing to be at Abuja quickly should fly on a helicopter. Else, they should conduct their businesses in Enugu.

Road link between Enugu and Abuja is not good....and there is no rail link.

That's the problem....and hence my solution.

Kaduna was mentioned...because there is a dual-carrigeway between Kaduna and Abuja, it takes 2 -3 hours to travel the road....and there is a rail link too. Enugu-Abuja....problems dey along the route.

1.Going via Plateau-Nass-Benue...is not safe too. Security issues dey....plus the road is single track...and not too good.

2.Going via Lokoja-Benue....the road is bad , especially after Ajaokuta.

3.Enugu is further away from Abuja than Kaduna.

In a way...we are paying for failures to plan since 1976...when the Abuja idea began.

Helicopters can fly the group with business in Abuja to Abuja, it will provide an avenue for biz, activity and development in Enugu.

Looks like we would have to use Lagos only for the duration of the closure....since everyone does not want Kaduna.

Having said that....long term

1.Abuja needs a second airport. Build one either around Kuje or Bwari axis.

2.We need a high speed railway link between Abuja....and Kano, Enugu, and Lagos/Ibadan.

3.We need to improve our Federal Highway structure well well.

4.Abuja also needs a tramway service.

5.Let us renovate our Airport runways....AS and AT WHEN DUE!...NOT 20 years later.

They better use Enugu Airport. Lagos is heavily congested; however, Enugu is not, there are several hotels with 5-star service in Enugu and safety in Enugu is guaranteed.
