adaksbullet:My favourite troll ![]() Congratulations, Explorers. ![]() The date is upon us already sef... ![]() |
Who has the nerve to kill a fellow human being for God's sake ![]() |
Adebimpe1: Had a good life with the bolded. I can only imagine how you snapped. Truth is, a job seeker should always stay calm in the midst of all these. Anyone can get good grades in school, but mental, psychological and emotional endurance is missing in most. Patience is key if one is to succeed in any way. |
ScienceWatch:Your stalking is on a whole new level. First you quoted me on a very old post not to make any sense and now this? Worst still, you compare TB Joshua to Christ? Interestingly, you didn't address my points rather, chose to delve into philosophical history of Christ yet ended with Jesus is Lord. I'm still waiting for you to address the guest house that collapsed and killed well over hundred persons. I'm waiting for you to debunk the recording that TB Joshua wasn't the one who promised to give journalists 50k each after tragedy struck at Ikotun Egbe. I'm waiting for you to tell me what your colleague claimed happens in your church, i.e, sell materials before getting access to some HOLY WATER. I'm still waiting for you to explain why TB Joshua didn't show up in court when he was summoned concerning the tragedy. It is very annoying some brainwashed folks like you chose to stalk me and clearly liken TB Joshua to Christ. Until you have answers to what I raised, please do well not to quote me with some incoherent thoughts. |
KINGinVAHALA:Those radio programmes are solely flings, which mostly do not last beyond two months. Abeg, don't hook him up with Lagos base babes. They might not have some strong motive as his. Elprint, kudos to you. One don't get to see a meaningful thread as this when it comes to folks seeking a partner on Nairaland. |
Mynd44, Lalasticlala, I think it is high time these threads are properly perused before making FP. This is a case of clear misinformation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnVXimvT6o4 I wonder why anyone would tell lies just to drive traffic. ![]() The so called virgin pastor is obviously deranged. |
This is what i call a 'SHIM' |
I'm indifferent towards politicians now but I feel this is a sham. Most possibly an arrangement by the PDP. Those who watch the video would see through it easily. The so called printer or director who is supposed to be a suspect is calmly seated and gently responding to answers. Something is obviously not right here. Truth be told, I don't believe this. |
kd10:Ah'ahn... All these for me? Wow ![]() So let's break it down... There is no Synagogue Church anywhere in East Africa not to talk of Uganda.Well, I wouldn't know about this. It graced the FP and it says the man is a pastor with SCOAN. I didn't post it. (2) Even here in Nigeria no branches Meanwhile as a Prophetic Ministry no room for Weeding CeremoniesIs that true? So how come people were killed in the guest house of the church if it has no branch in Nigeria? How about the one at Ikotun Egbe, in Lagos? That isn't part of the church, yeah? So tell your Evil Master that send you that your mission failed. Finally your fabricated storey about Holy water is cock & bull storey from the pit of Hell like the storey teller himself. The ordeal I shared took place in 2006. The person is fully much around me as I type. (3)SCOAN- give out Morning water to those who knows it works by Faith for free after you have purchase Evangelical materials that includes DVDS Books because Salvation is not for Sale. I didn't type this, you did and I'm quoting you back on it ![]() SO THAT MEANS I WON'T GET THE WATER IF I'M BROKE AND HAVE NO MONEY TO PURCHASE ANY OF THE MATERIALS, YEAH? ![]() Now, do me a favour and re-read the part of your assertion I made clearer and give me a response ![]() |

Bsc:It's titled 'Why we should all be feminist'. Glad someone has read or come across it. |
iRepNaija1:You're quite right, but unfortunately, the feminism most Nigerian women preach are what I earlier highlighted. You want me to prove this? Take a peek at the romance section and see some of these advocates and how they preach their ideology. Have you ever seen or read Adichie's perspective of feminism? If you haven't, I'd suggest you query this on Google and you'd be amazed at how dangerous she is at preaching feminism. Amma Darko, a female Ghanaian writer preaches this perfectly well by drawing sharp contrast between her characters. 'FACELESS' comes to mind. I'd advise that you read the piece. Buchi Emecheta? She advocated feminism through her many works, particularly 'Second Class Citizen' where she opened up, through her character, the many ordeals an African society would go through in the hands of a man. Chimamanda? Well, her feministic stance is the same as a typical modern Nigerian lady; men are subtly seen as enemies and means to an end which must be duly exploited by women, even in marriage. I am no misogynist and I advocate women's rights but Chimamanda's perspective is quite disturbing. Again, I ask you to Google some of her quotes and ideologies of feminism. You might be forced to edit your post afterwards. |
LaaJiblik:Just yesterday, someone was telling me how he went there for 'healing' in 2006, and how he was mandated to buy 'holy water' for some bogus amount. He said he didn't take much with him at the time and was only able to buy TB Joshua's picture frame from 5,000. He begged to be given the water as he believed it would heal him, but the pastors outrightly refused because he didn't have enough money to purchase the 'holy water'. I really had a good laugh yesterday ![]() |
FoRgEteD:BTS 1,i think. |
Daily Mail, judging from the content, referred to the woman as a 'kidnapper who is in the habit of using children for ritual purposes'. Better still, a 'ritualist', yet, the topic branded her a witch. This is misinformation. Mynd44, please do well to correct this. |
MICHEALADEX:And I assume you're educated but ignorant to understand that the tiny 'spiritual' marks on his body is either caused by his nails or wall geckos ![]() |
MICHEALADEX: How would you advice him to drink his own urine?? |
djlaqua91:The way some of you think your opinion makes sense ehn... I guess I'd wait for you to explain how CHEAP is FAKE and how FAKE is CHEAP. |
0gbeni:The same excuse slow minded folks put up when a book is duly critiqued. There are different type of criticisms, those done on literary grounds, often times card LITERARY APPRECIATIONS, and those often times done to weigh the underlying tones and stance of a writer. I'd recommend you visit Rotten Tomatoes to understand these reviews, even though it's strictly for movies and not books, save for situations where we have adaptations. @the bolded, that's clearly worrisome and very depressing. The concept of right or wrong IS NOT SUBJECTIVE as it leans towards morals and societal values and standings, and not in the minds of individuals. While a few examples might help you justify your assertion, it still does not take away the fact that right/wrong is a moral statue and not just perspective based. |
RadicallyBlunt:Show me where it's stated and I'll refer you to one of my threads on this. By the way, I'm not a Christian, according to you. |
danyel09:Chimamanda is an upcoming writer compared to those you paired her with. Truth is, she's a crazy feminist who doesn't hide it. Ironically, she's married, yet, champions a cause that subtly negates marriage. I stopped reading her materials when I read 'Half of a Yellow Sun'. Other than the fact that writers sometimes use their works to poke at the socio-cultural anomalies plaguing their socities, that of Adichie was birthed on cheap sentiments and her understanding or judgement was obviously inclined. On the issue of sex, there seems to be an aggressive campaign for premarital sex and that it does not bother her bothers me. I honestly don't expect her to take on the bandwagon route as seen in most writers but one would really get to wonder how the likes of Ngozi Chimamanda Adichie's works negates Buchi Emecheta's. For those who have read most of Buchi's works, majorly 'The Joy of Motherhood' and 'Second Class Citizen' as opposed to Chimamanda materials, you'd see a great deviation, particularly on how women should be seen or viewed. Truth is, times have changed and one can hardly pick the concept of didactism and sermony from Chimamanda's works. She comes off to me as the Andrew Marvel, John Donne and a host of metaphysical writers we never had. |
kolaish:Obviously NSCDC ![]() |
Ademoore07:No, they're not. They're the slobs of the creepy world. Just constrict and swallow. |
PAGAN9JA:Perhaps you don't know, snakes DO NOT primarily feed on rats but on rodents which rats are a part of. As a matter of fact, Pythons rarely feed on rodents because of their voracious list for fat. They tend to eat something much more bigger, eg; wild goats, deers, alligators, crocodiles, etc... As long as there are cats in the world or tropics, then we have little to be concerned about when it comes to rat. Snakes are a part of the food chain just as humans are. No matter how much you show empathy towards them, it still does not prevent them from being amazing sources of protein. Wild lives are considered exquisite delicacies in every part of the world, which implies that as educated as the western world is, people still thirst for their meats. |
babytee21:It's GNLD for sure. |

RELEASEUS:You have to be specific about 'the outside' world as it does not apply to Indians here. Those ones crave your ass_ licking more than anything. |
lestat:It obviously is, don't you get it? You 'fired' a staff for bowing to you while he or she greeted and you consider it weird, because you don't understand why the person did it (I know you lied but I'll just pretend). When Yemi Osinbajo almost went on her knees to greet the president, I could remember how some people from a particular divide called her a slave just because it's alien to them. You failed to understand how culture could influence our decisions and attitude particularly when meeting people for the first time. A friend of mine almost went on her knees at a mall when her long lost friend introduced her to her parents who are Igbos. Trust the Yoruba attitude in her while greeting them. I didn't take the dad 5 seconds to figure where she's from. Unfortunately, most of the people crying on the thread are folks who have never left their regions or state to see how it is done in the SW. So you see, my friend, everything boils down to tribe here. |
lestat:You're actually the wrong one here. My coy is multinational and I have a handful of Yorùbás in highly placed positions within the sphere. We have all bonded perfectly, probably because I grew up in the SW, and guess what? We all use the 'E' on ourselves. Ignore how it is written, but it's a Yoruba word that indicates and marks the person you're referring to as older or probably mean you respect them. And them I have some Igbo colleagues who are quite older. What we do is simple; 'knack' it on ourselves like there's no tomorrow. I see no reason why you're angry over this. What is at play here is cultural differences. You might come from a region wherein youths take pride in looking at elders in the eyes or probably greet them using sliding tackles. Cultural differences count. And trust me, I know what you put there is nothing but lies. A company would never allow you fire her staff just because they greeted you in a way you consider inferior. You cannot take this away from the Yorùbás. |
HabaSeun:From moniker, it's safe to say you're neither from the South West nor were you raised there. The Yorùbás are highly respectful people, regardless of how education rubbed off on you. As a matter of fact, the more educated you are, the more respectful you become. Truth is most of these Asians don't understand how deeply rooted some of us are cultural wise. Moscobabs, so you settled for Lagos last last? When I was thinking you'd be coming over to this side ![]() |
ammyluv2002: ![]() I think Nigerians are becoming wiser. If it was before, the man would have probably complained to the NCC who would in turn sue Airtel and pocket the money without giving the man a dime. This is actually a step in the right direction. |
