Good day house... Please I have a question... my interview is next week August 27 and I have funded my BA 8640 euros but I will like to know if the stated amount is still acceptable at the embassy or I will have to fund the new Amount.. can they issue VISA with 8640 please quick response thanks
Depending on the foreigners office of the City you're headed to, if you get to DE after September 1st, you might be asked to top up before they issue you resident permit. Foreigners office is different from embassy, the embassy might give you visa but you get to DE, foreigners office says different. My advice is that if you know you'll get to DE after September 1st make plans for topping up just in case your foreigners office demanda for it

good morning
please I need help/clarification. I applied for Visa interview appointment on the embassy site through the online application process with category B visa application. I applied first in May and earlier this month. I am yet to get AD. Is there any other procedure or process to apply for this, or am I missing something? I have been offered admission already and my resumption date is 1st Oct. Can you help me with some explanations or better advise on how to go about it? Thank you.
Please this is my email ID itorojackson@gmail.com I would appreciate PM

Read through this thread, the solution is there. I'm tired of answering this question over and over.

They allow enrolment till the 15th of November.

But he has to be physically present.

Hope it all works out, though we will plead with school to allow till end of Nov.
From his AD he won't make the enrolment deadline so work on getting the extension because the VO will ask him during his interview.

Good day everyone, can I apply for a Bsc course in Germany using O'level certificate apart from private schools? I would like to apply to a public school. Is there a possibility of any school. Or what do you advise? Thanks in anticipated response
No you can't use O level to apply directly for BSc.

AD for Oct 30th

I have admission for TU Chemnitz and enrollment deadline is 29th November , but my preferred school is RUB ....and deadline is first week of November....
What are the odds of me making it to RUB
It's clear that you can't make it to RUB unless they allow you to enrol online/by proxy

that isn't correct. Visa application's before 1st september. Not residence application before 1st September.
Somebody said during his interview he asked his VO and the VO told him that the foreigners office will start demanding for the new BA if you land in DE after September 1st. Remember different cities have different rules when it comes to residence permit eg. Some only give 1 year RP and/or will demand for BA when you want to renew while some give 2 years RP and/or don't ask for BA for renewal. It's advisable for every winter applicant who will arrive in DE after September 1st to prepare for topping up in case your city demands you top up before issuing you RP.
Also when someone mailed Fintiba concerning the new BA amount Fintiba said it depends on the embassy so I don't think you should depend on them (the escrow banks) for concrete answer.

what is the fate of those who already funded their BA with 8640 and have appointment in September ?
You have to top up. Even if you manage to get visa with €8,640 when you get to Germany the foreign office will ask you to top up before they issue you resident permit (without resident permit you cannot get a job).

After admission, am I not suppose to request for an appointment for interview. Please I need the format although I saw it previously on part 5 and I saved it on my laptop but laptop crashed. Please I just need the format
Bros you don't write letter to book appointment for interview. You go to the embassy website and book there. I advise you read the thread if you're just booking for appointment date now. Appointment dates for winter semester have become scarce.

please for birth cert, for those born before 1993, can we use court affidavit from high court or are we to procure attestation letter from NPC ?, also has the BA figure changed from €8,640?
Yes if you were born before December 1992, you'll have to get the declaration of age from the court. And yes BA has increased from €8640 to €10236 effective from September 1st

No that not true.. I renewed my passport in Osogbo and it did not show my old passport number... And i used it for my interview... Its only lagos... Abuja and portharcourt immigration office that issues intergrated passport..which shows ur old PS number and the new PS number on a new passport, All other office outside dis 3 will give u a new passport with a new number and it wont show the old number. To confirm this tweet @nigimmigration u will get a response and as for the person with this issue u can even inform them ,i can assure u ,ur issue will b sorted out speedily..

Calm down we've already discussed this issue yesterday. I've renewed my passport twice, first at Abuja then Portharcourt and in both cases they carried a new number plus the number of the previous passport. I didn't know that passport could also be issued without carrying the number of the previous one but I was informed yesterday.

I have renewed my passport three times or so and they all have new passport numbers.I just did last week at netherland. And my passport was issued there with a new number.

I have never noticed the previous to be included.
Maybe that's for Abuja and lagos only for now.

What I meant was that the passport will have a new number while carrying the old number of the previous passport. I have renewed my passport twice and both times the new passport had its own number and the number of the previous one

hello House, my interview is on the 26th, please do I need to provide WAEC sctratch card too? I'm going for M.sc.
2. is there anyone admitted to TU Dortmund? I want to know how much the semester fee is, I have been getting confusing figures. Thank you

1. Na wa for people o, see ehn anything you see in that checklist, you better carry it except you want to have problem with Paulinus. There are supporting documents you may not need to go with like NYSC certificate, transcript, FSLC etc but every other thing carry ooo.
2. Why not mail the school and ask for the exact figure, if its not stated clearly on their website?

Good morning house. I have come again ooo. I have finally gotten a contact in Osogbo that want to help me facilitate my lost passport express but I have a little challenge, he said their printer program there has not been upgraded to include previous passport number on the new one although I have gotten police report and court affidavit. Do you think that will be enough to explain my situation to Mr. Paulius and the V.O Do you know anyone in past who had experienced this kind of situation and was allowed to do his/her interview I believe I once saw on this forum when someone sais he/she mistakenly typed his/her phone number in the the space for passport number and Mr. Paulius eventually let him/her after much pleading..... Please if you're that person, can you please share more light on this, please share your experience with me. I have already funded and can't afford not to make this appointment. Please! Please!! Please!!! Please I need experiences, advice/suggestion. Thank you all in anticipation.

I have not seen a reissued passport (whether the previous was lost or expired) that doesn't contain the previous passport number. This might be questionable, not just by the embassy but anywhere else in the future. My advice is that you find another contact in another NIS branch to do it for you. Please anyone here with a contact in NIS should help him out.
