450K average in Lagos? I don't think so. most of Lagos cannot afford that for a 3 bedroom a year still. That ain't no average. Like I said, the average is still lower than $300K if you consider ALL of Lagos and not just the upper and posh parts. 

If you are still speaking of Lekki, then I suggest you make sure you study the trends, and not get carried away by the numbers. I am not certain you can build in Lekki for Naira 50 million and sell for Naira 500 million. Seriously, if I met someone willing to pay that much for a house anywhere in Nigeria, I would personally tip crooks so they can go steal that money or something.

I am about to take a decision and would really appreciate your candid opinions on this Issue. I am a young man who happens to be a student, but work during the holidays. I have a girlfriend based in the US whom i have been dating for 5 years. She has only resided in the US for 1 1/2 years and intends to come visit but cannot afford to buy her air fare ticket.

I was able to save some money from my last vacation job and if i have to get her air ticket, then i will be left with only 25% of my savings which will still be spent upon her arrival and stay with me. I am not too comfortable with the long period we have stayed apart and believe this is an opportunity for us to define our relationship. I do intend to ENGAGE her when she arrives and then plan for marriage towards the end of next year when i must have graduated from school.

Now the Question is, if you were in my shoes, would you spend almost all of your savings for your girlfriend? And if you must know i really care about her and love her a lot. Keep your honest comments coming.

Pay for the fare. . . . . .God loves a cheerful giver.

Someone(ftmom) who seems to know more about that neighbourhood came here to say all though people living in Golden Park Estate claims to reside in Lekki but they are not in the main LEKKI.

If you have a brain-cell, you would know i was only defending the claim of Martinosi who insisted there are people making 4000GBP/month with houses in Lekki area(whether his own Lekki area is the main Lekki or the outskirt Lekki, it's immaterial) - Lekki is Lekki.

All he said was there are peops who own 3 different properties in Lekki - and you concluded he meant houses that go for 80 milla Naira.
For all you know, the properties he was referring to me might be bungalows or even SHOPS.
Now that we know there are properties for 35 Milla in that area, put your tail between your legs and SCRAMMMMMMM!!!!
