The number of Internationally acclaimed institutes of research in Ibadan metropolis alone, and the whole of Enugu STATE will go and sleep, not just that tiny red mud hamlet called enugu town.

Stop showing us the parts of Ibadan where Igbo people developed and are residing in. Show us the parts where Yoruba people are living.

Lobatan.
You haven't developed Enugu and Abia states, but you are claiming development in Ibadan.

Lol.

Enugu is one of the most serene cities in Nigeria.

My first destination choice in the East (and maybe the entire South of Nigeria).

Hated the moment I had to leave.

Not many places remind me of abj as much as it does.
Villages are always serene.

arguably, but commerce, economic expediency and trade should always be more expedient than language homogeneity.

These francophone West African countries still rely heavily on our economy, trade, natural gas and crude for their national survival.
No.

Francophone West African economies are more tied to one another and then to France, than they are tied to Nigeria.
With the exceptions of Benin and Cameroon and Niger, only because they are our direct next door neighbours.

I still wonder how Nigeria has, for decades, overlooked a clear opportunity of being an undisputed hegemony in West Africa despite having 76% of the economy of the region and having nearly 60% of the entire population.

Even with our firms like Dangote, Glo, real estates, banks and dozens of small to medium scale business dominating the entire region, our myopic and incompetent political class has not deemed it fit to change our foreign policy in the subregion.
Language divide between Anglophone and Francophone West Africa is the simple reason.

No need to look to far.

shocked

Ambode is really trying to impress the likes of Jim Ovia, Cosmas Maduka, Ifeanyi Uba, Tony Elumelu and Pat Utomi.

He wants them to be super comfortable in Lagos.
Because if those guys leave, the economy of Lagos will come crumbling down.
Crumble down ko, Dismantle down ni.
Those people you just mentioned NEED Lagos, Lagos don't need them.
Who are Uba, Utomi and the rest of them without Lagos and Environs Mega market? lol

There are more than 15 other Nigerian cities with populations over 1 Million, they can relocate to whichever of them they so wish.

Yorubas will say, Oja Oyingbo ko mo pe enikan o wa. The Huge market does not feel the absence of trader Lagbaja or Tamedo.

RockHard:
I've tried ignoring you but since you mentioned me, I have just one question for you. How do you explain those Anambra/SE Telco data numbers? Is it that Anambra/SE folks don't like using phones? Una traders, students, parents, civil servants, farmers, politicians e.t.c no dey make calls or buy phones like the rest of the country? Or your people are so rural and backward that they are averse to modern telephony?? Whether you like it or not, that raw Telco data is the closest thing we have to a credible estimate -- you can choose to add or subtract a million to/from any of those numbers and it wouldn't make much of a difference. The NBS figures you're touting are mere extrapolated/theoretical estimates that have absolutely no empirical basis. undecided

We should admire the woman's pregnancy, or hail the man for impregnating his wife?

So Hausa is now equal to Northern Nigeria?
You say Northerners are always with transistor radio yet post a picture of some fake Northern Nigeria covering the middle belt, have you ever seen a Yoruba Kogite, and Igala or Tiv man moving around with radios before? angry

All your listed points are just generalizations of traits normally associated with Hausa people except for number 1
