hmuhammad:Exactly. It won't Lagos wey be say almost that same number move into the city and its suburbs on a monthly basis. |
Pwayne2016:You will die of Jealousy. As the present crop of southwesterners get richer, they will all build new houses in new neighborhoods with tiled and colored roofing, the same way their grandparents before them got rich and built those houses whose roofs have now turned brown from aging. They will maintain the older buildings in the city centres and leave them for posterity, history and inner city charm like those of venice, Inner Istanbul, Prague and Rome. While your land will forever remain the cursed giant sticky red mud gully. |
Realmcfynest:Guy, wake up.. The reign of Oyo as a traditional state is loooong gone. Yoruba states all broke free of Oyo since the collapse of Oyo Ile. The only other thing that unites all of us now is our common language, common source of origin and its king, (Ile Ife and the Ooni). Where did oranmiyan the first king of Oyo come from if Ooni is not a king? |
Ooni Orisha.... The most POWERFUL traditional head of state in West Africa. |
Checked86:Bro, we need to put these stupid tribal sentiments behind us and try to forge ahead together, or at worst , be peaceful neighbors. All these E-fights and tribal exchanges is of benefit to nobody. Let us address the problem of decaying public / social infrastructures across the country and not just one region, and look for ways to hold our governments responsible. I originally reserved the space on the front page and later edited it to post those pictures there because I knew some people will come later and begin tribal slurs. I just waited for that akpa amu to post his rubbish about the west, and I edited the space. Peace. |
iconSAGE1:Go and DIE!! You didn't see your own brothers saying thrash and exhibiting their chronic YORUBAPHOBIA in the following comments abi? MKPI! |
This one is still looking good na, they even have good lockers/desks and chairs as well as a nice chalkboard. Just some repair work on roofing and they will be fine. You need to see how bad the ones where I served in Enugu are. Students sit on the floor there, and everything has virtually crumbled. https://chiquemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Itchi-CPS-III-Igboeze-south-LGA.jpg-3.jpg https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/School-block-of-Union-Primary-School-Ugbene-Ajima-under-seriuos-threat.jpg https://scannewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/PIC-3-DILAPIDATED-CLASSROOM-BLOCKS-1024x768.jpg https://chiquemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Itchi-CPS-II-Igboeze-south-LGA.jpg https://chiquemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Central-School-Obeleagu-Umana-3.jpg http://dailypost.ng/2013/05/25/ugbene-ajima-community-in-enugu-tale-of-woes-from-forgotten-schools/ |
Ariani:lol.... Enugu-Onitsha expressway propaganda. |
Ariani:lol.... Ariani or what do you call yourself. Yorubas have always had the highest number of university graduates, we had the first start in Education - by 1967 3 of the 5 universities in Nigeria were in the West. Our Universities still remain the top ranked in Nigeria, we still have the highest numbers, SW individuals from Redeemers to covenant to Bowen, Redeemers, Afe Babalola, Bells, Caleb, Crawford, Landmark, Babcock and what have you. still have the highest number of private schools in Nigeria.. and we will continue to produce enough graduates to fill up every vacant position needed in the SW. olodo. |
FKO81:Dont worry, this is a temporary problem we are facing with our present crop of visionless leadership in SW. In 3 years we will all be back on top where we rightfully belong. With all that being said, we still have more children in higher institutions than you flatees. Many of your university going age kids will still come over to this side to school as we have by far the highest number of tertiary institutions in Nigeria - and they will become acculturated into the powerful force that is the Yoruba culture while doing so. |
FKO81:Imo Ke?? Which Imo is that? The same IMO competing with the North in IGR? Hhahahaha.... What is in Imo outside Owerri? start with Industries in Imo. |
iblawi:E joo, se Ede Oyinbo soro fun yin ni? E so wipe Idameta (1/3 = 33%) ni Oro Aje Ile Yoruba da si osuwon Orile Ede Nigeria. Mo de so fun yin wipe Idameji (50%) ni iha odo wa Guusu-Iwo oorun da si osuwon karakata Nigeria. I was only buttressing your point, with a more cogent argument. |
iblawi:My brother.... I was referring that nitwit ni... I dey ask am say after Eko Atlantic is built through the visionary leadership of the Yoruba political class, I will be wondering if he will say the FG or the politicians from Akwa Ibom built it..... They will keep aiming , but they will never catch us. Aji se bi Oyo laari, Iran Yoruba o se bi baba enikeni keni. |
iblawi:1/3 ke? Abi even an entire 50% of Nigeria's economy is South Western. |
FKO81:Ooobi...... If you want Lagos, come and carry it to the east. Lagos = Yorubaland Yorubaland = Lagos |
Rayhutar:Dont worry, when Eko atlantic is built I wonder how you would twist that one again. Who told you that the Lagos that was abandoned by the FG When they packed their jagbajantis to Abuja is the same Lagos of today? lol |
This OP is so dubious... hahaha The only thing I can see from the stats is that the South West is the richest region in Nigeria, before both regions included in your title. |
Fanyogoyogo:Oga mi, na one yeye moderator ban me for like 2 weeks o.... Just for one silly reason like that. |
lawrenceunaa:**** that is called Pipe borne water or "running water" for laymen like you. Did yu read the part where he said boreholes and wells might end up being useless....? It shows that there is a working authority in place. |
