There was a time many years ago when the AC in my room was on 24/7 whether I was home or not. The tarrif increase before this one was when I stopped. I live in an area with stable electricity and electricity was very cheap.

I also remember when I was a child that my dad always left the AC in his office on.

So to that point the minister has a point that subsidizing electricity had inculcated bad habits in us as a people. The example he gave about freezer was a bad one. 1 because a lot of freezers don’t actually consume much power and 2 AC is the real power guzzler. When I lived abroad then no born me to leave ordinary light bulb on if I am not in the room talk less leave the house heater on when I am out. Same with petrol…the way I drove abroad with expensive petrol was different from In Nigeria with cheap petrol.

Subsidies do indeed create bad habits.

Thank you for your truthful personal experience.
The one bad attitude that is most common is people leaving their house security light on perpetually. Over a kilometer to my house, I will know if there is light or not just by looking out for lights that are never put off.

Romance / Re: In Love With A Married Woman And This Is Happening.. by BigYash: 10:33am
marksonrick:

She literally fell in for the guy, she hunted the guy. In fact, she told me a lot of things I never knew that was going on in that organization, even though all the guys are new. I knew and noticed when she started developing feelings for the guy. She came into my office, and sat on the chair as she normally do. But this time, she put her head on the table, I was just looking and observing her then I noticed her vibrate. There and then I knew she has loved the guy. Also, when I initially restrained her from coming to my office, she came so that we could settle. When she came, she saw a lady submitting a report on a task I assigned her. She asked the lady to leave that she wants to talk with me, her boyfriend, but the lady refused. She tried exerting force, by calling on the girls name but instead, it was the boy's name that came out of her mouth.

The guy is an occult guy, a lady said that the guy is kekai or something like that.

I never knew she loved me that much. I had to make some enquiries then I discovered what she had been saying about me in my absence.

A lady told me that she eavesdropped her speaking to herself about the love she loved me and what not.

But I never thought about sex with her, I never did.

We do many things together, so much so that a lot of women in the environment whom I had interest in, no longer want me saying that I am married.

In fact, one lady had to send her sister to come call me when she saw two of us together. The other complaint that I have left her for another woman.

Honestly, I've harbored the fear of even asking her out.

I've told her that she'll regret it.

Yesterday, the guy was asking another lady out and the girl has completely fallen off for him.

Initially, I thought that the guy was using charm. Like what the f*ck.

He even mentioned two names that were recently employed to being his girlfriend.

When I noticed him going after the overall manager, I had to strike one of his girlfriend and I was planning for the second one but then, I haven't seen her in days now.

In the office, no single lady needs me. The old staffs are even discouraging any new staff I have interest in. I almost fought with an old staff when I over heard her discouraging a new recruit.

Out there, I've tried my best, no woman wants me. I've mustard courage to speak with few but, they normally gave me tough time which I frown so much at. My go to place is the brothel and I am not even happy going there. Maybe that's the more reason I was comfortable with her when she became close to me. I never knew she could be this loose.

I know I'm jealous of another man's wife, but I don't just know why.

I know, I'm no longer happy in the organization, I've put few calls across to friends to help me with any opening where they work.

I never knew ill be this jealous.

I've surrendered all the girls that were close to me to this guy. He practically controls 90% of the girls.

I'm an introvert and I have made some advances and failed with other girls even outside the organization.

They just hate me for no reason, OK, a lady once said I have no strength and that my leg are to short which, I take it to be my d*ck.

I might not have strength though but I do bang for two hours without coming.

Life, indeed is a basket of problems for a lot of people.
In wooing girls, you are not confident.. That’s just it..
The other guy is more confident, and he knows how to game women.. But in anything you do,plz avoid married women.. Flee like the holy book said.. And work on your confidence.. You must not tell a guy you love her or that she is beautiful.. And don’t be too close or too available.. Use your introverted nature well, you will attract ladies without stress.. And your work places should be a place you bang every girl that comes in.. Abi na ashawo house you dey work ni? And which state are you in?

What stigma? People will talk for sometime and that's the end.

Op why do you love bringing different ladies home when you can just settle down since u have high libido, after all you are capable.

I like your attitude towards your parents though, I guess it's out of respect u don't want to misbehave in their presence, some ill mannered guys won't give a damn how he makes them feel simply because the parent are at his mercy.

You know your lifestyles, instead of wasting money on hotels, rent a room somewhere.

Please do and marry, I dislike irresponsible guys.

Which one is he should go and marry because you saw that he built a house? Women and entitlement mentality!

Op, in all you do, avoid this advice. Don't marry anything. Enjoy your life to the fullest and if you must marry, marry a very rich girl from a very rich family.

Avoid poor broke girls from poor homes who are looking for rich guys to marry them, instead of working on their poverty stricken life

epainos:
Looks like poverty in Nigeria is hitting hard. Apart from this person who replied to me here, no one seems interested.

Anyway, I have decided to buy a carton parent chicks for now. So, I will have to make preparation for managing about 200 to 300 new chicks every week. I don't want to go this route, but it is the only option I think is available now. Paying above 400naira for broiler day old is crazy... not to talk of paying N950 and which might enter N1500 or N2000. Bola Tinubu has opened the border for poultry meat to enter Naija, so I am sure a greater percentage of the market share for local producers will reduce. Where is the gain if I have to buy N20k+ feed per bag, medications, and then pay above N1k for day old. There is no profit on it. So, I am going via this route.

The next request is that if you know how to do artificial insemination and you have enough experience, kindly reach out to me. I know even you that don't know about it will want to say you can do it. I will know if you are a wayo person. So, if you are sure of yourself, get in touch. Also, if you have experience with just managing parent stocks (not AI), get in touch with me too. I am open to even getting more parent stocks ...meaning, I can enter the hatchery business gradually at my pace. Please, I don't need you to buy me anything cos I can source for myself. So, keep off selling to me anything. I will discard you immediately. If you have suggestions, give me...I will look into it. If I need you to get it, I will ask you. So, anyone contacting me should remove his or her mind from making money from me crazily. I don't need you to approach me and start writing a N50 million incubator with another generator of N30million. I will just throw you away like a shitty paper. So. Get his straight. I want to start small...and grow at my pace. So, buzz off if your mission is to come import for me equipment. I can do that. Don't even go there. Your skill on parent breeders is what I need. That's all. You need an equipment, you tell me. Leave me to get my stuff. Don't interfere.

If you have experience with AI management of parents' stocks or with the natural mating of birds, kindly get in touch with me.

God bless!

I need some clarification here great investors. See the attached, is discount rate different from interest rate? The rate they advertised is interest rate. Going by the matured fund, have I been scammed?

The discount rate is truly about 16.82% while the yield abi na interest rate as them call am na about 20.01%.

If it is the 20.01 you saw and thought you invested with na where we fit talk say them scam( Even at that, its not a scam you for seek clarification before the investment) ask afresh or come here browse back small.

TB discount interest is paid upfront so if it was just that way it would have been the 16.82. However, with this, your interest is invested with the principal that's why it will yield that 20.01.

If the discount rate was upto this 20.01, your yield would have around 24%. That 16.82 discount rate is not the sweetest for that tenure considering the present realities but then na secondary market and it's already a done deal. So, make you manage am.

Subsidies do indeed create bad habits. Nigeria is a very unproductive country and one (I said one not “the”) reason is subsidies in almost everything, petrol, forex, tertiary education, electricity etc. when everything is subsidized you lose creativity and innovation and ultimately your productivity. In lay man’s language you become lazy and entitled when things are done for you.

For some time now, a lot of Anambra citizens have alleged that Gov Soludo is an “oji onu” (meaning someone who only talks with little action to accompany the talk).
They say so mostly about his road and other infrastructure development.
The allegations about roads may be neither here nor there, but the more serious allegation with potential existential threat is that Gov. Soludo is doing absolutely nothing about the menace of Fulani herdsmen in Anambra state.
The people of Awka North (Mgbakwu etc) and Ukpo/Enugu Agidi are currently under serious security threat from Fulani herdsmen, and these are areas within stone throw of Anambra state capital.

The day my husband passed away, I was sent out of his house, said the wife of Nollywood actor Ajigijaga

The late Yoruba film actor Mufutau Sanni Abdulahi, also known as Ajigijaga,’s wife has spoken out about how, following her husband’s passing, she and her kids suffered abuse at the hands of his relatives.
She said during her appearance on the talk To B show that she was taken out of their house the day he passed away and left without any possessions.

She also revealed that she is now dependent on street hawking to support her family and that she has encountered resistance from others when asking for help. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

His relatives tried to evict me from our home the day he passed away, claiming they were unable to care for both me and the children. It was only me and my kids, and I didn’t remove anything from the house—not even clothes,” she remarked.

Now that he is dead, I am now a hawker, this was something he never allowed me to do when he was alive. I have to hawk so I can feed my children.

“No one wanted to help me because they didn’t want people to misunderstand them and claim they were sleeping with her.”

I can help fix the machine but that problem is that it is obsolete and parts might not be available.
When these people buy such equipment, they should never pay in full. Instead they should lease from the manufacturer. Siemens, GE, Philips and Konica are all good brands.
An agreement of sales and service should be reached to reduce downtime.
This is a money spinner but most investors in Nigeria are only interested in hotel business.
A quick maths will give you an idea of the business aspect
Take for instance, at 100k per exam for easy 20 exams in a day is #2M
An equipment lease of 20 % interest rate of $150k ( equipment cost and installing) is just $30k. Divine this by 12 month you have $2500 a month
This amount is achievable in any teaching hospital MRI department in Nigeria.
And they will have newer, well maintained machine.
Lack of information and exposure to international market / investors is the problem in these respect.
In case they need my help and service I am available.

Bro, fund is not the problem as they do always make us believe, the reasons why those machine are either not available or well maintain is just Corruption.

I remember my conversation with one CMD then on how to upgrade the hospital, ... when i talk finish he looked at me nd smile, he said : do you think i don't know all those things you said

You are making this debate tire me. I swr.
Gravity and electromagnetic are physical concepts. Mathematics on the other hand is more of an empirical concept (i.e concrete and abstract).

That is, they need elongated part of transcriptions for their propagation.
Information is physical and abstract at the same time.
When you drive on the road and there is a sign ahead. You can see the sign with your eyes. Therefore you understand. When someone tells something to you in a language you are familiar with. You can hear and you'll understand.

But what happens when you do not understand the sign or the language that the information is being disseminated or when you can't understand mathematical equations?
They do not make sense to you. They do not trigger a consciousness, unless if accompanied by other factors.

This is what we mean by elongated part of transcription.

Consciousness simply resides in information. Without an information. If I removed the sensory nerve endings of your skin and someone tiptoes to touch you from the back. You'll probably not be conscious of the touch because the receptors that transmit signals to your brain are absent. Therefore, there can't be that consciousness.

In all together, you need a trigger/source/application in other to see the effects of mathematics, consciousness and information. Lemme not even talk about softwares.

But for gravity. Whether you understand it or not. Once you fall, you must definitely hit the ground, you do not need to apply it to see it's effect.

I think you really need to understand elementary physics, not just read. By then, we'd have a more coherent conversation.

With the few conversations that I've had with thiests on this platform. It further strengthens my beliefs that many of you believe such absurdities basically because you don't understand simple physics and science in general.

The few theists off-NL who understand science are too scared of hell or are simply just deluded.

NairaLTQ:

Experience show us that Consciousness is Real. By the definition of causing EFFECTS on biological bodies, it falls under the term TANGIBLE!
You are wrong!
Consciousness has no causalities.

NairaLTQ:

Are you worried that your definition of Tangible meaning having effects is proving vague?

I am on point : your definition of terms must be seen to be consistent and applicable to other things

Point of correct. There is no such thing as "My definition".
Let's stick to the dictionary meanings of words.

Correct talk. When folks are not objective or progressive, to begin with, funny and senseless criticism is all you will get from them.

Only a fool or a total hater will not understand that Nigeris must move into an age where Governors must be held accountable to do more.

They earn more now and new reforms and ratified laws allow them the independence to do far more. They must therefore be tasked, by Nigerians and the Presidency, to take far more responsibility than they did before.

Sad reality is that the hater you address, and his kind, love to pretend only Tinubu and the FG exist to solve all problems because their aim is to always show the President and his government alone as incompetent and unworthy.

Well, Nigerians are wiser and Tinubu is certainly not GEJ or Buhari. This is only year one of his Presidency. Governors, Ministers and heads of parastatals will be shocked how BAT will 'change it' for them if they are found wanting.

Tinubu is not irretrievably attached to anything or anyone other than performance of leaders leading to development of Nigeria.

Please do and marry, I dislike irresponsible guys.
you are intelligent and mature.

It's not about Tinubu's ministers; it's about the attitude of Nigerians towards public service. Nigerians don't come to public offices to serve - they come to lazy about, gossip and loot.
