MrBrownJay1:As ridiculous as it sounds, don't be surprised this blogger does not actually know the meaning of the phrase"beaten to death". To him beaten to death is a phrase that sounds exciting when read, without the illiterate actually knowing it signifies something more dastardly and final. |
Toosure70:That is. There is likely to be a situation soon where it will be cheaper for them to run on diesel than on the National grid, then we go back to square 1. |
Didn't know Nigeria still has this calibre of erudite judges. The verdict is on point. With the kinds of nonsensical rulings judges in the appeal and even SC are delivering, this judge is being wasted at the the level he is. The only area of disagreement I find with the judge is that he may have considered the state of mind of the parents for him to have been a bit soft on them. The parents negligence was largely to blame for their son's death and their actions of deception and intimidation on SM has left 5 innocent kids probably traumatized for life. Who is going to compensate the 5 kids alive for the enormous psychological trauma the accusations of oromini's parents has made them go through? P.S,Falana is a disgrace. Instead of accepting this well thought out judgement,he is disgracing himself by finding childish issues with the judgement. Falana is just like SERAP:they always want to stay relevant and important for clients by making all sorts of silly noises and bringing up laughable issues and cases. |
This one is trying to be a one man opposition |
Someone categorically told deluded fans to keep their dollar. I am no fan of Tinubu but anyone that was celebrating and hoarding dollars so as to see the ₦ continue making that alarming and shocking slide early this year is a self centred, selfish I diot that should be called out. Even if ₦ is to depreciate, let it be due to lack of proper economic activity and not due to the workings of speculators and Bitcoin traders who were sitting in their rooms or hotels with their phones, drinking, smoking and doing ping pong with the ₦ as if they were playing video games. The rate the Naira was sliding then, left to those sets of miscreants,it would have reached 3k/$ by now! |
The SS states are cursed, all, except Edo, relatively. Rivers and Delta have consistently the most corrupt governors since 1999. Odili started the maniacal looting in Rivers and other governors have tried their best to follow in his footsteps. Fubara will do his own looting and if he falls out with his successor will also have his stolen properties confiscated. It's a vicious cycle in Rivers. |
Na so. Gradually they will migrate everyone to at least the next upper grade since they found out that Nigerians have lived up to expectations as being the weakest set of people in the world, able to absolve all sh it thrown at them |
navyseal2220:Didn't even know you have explained the situation and how fake the story is,asides being watery. That's part of the reason we still underdeveloped, one person wakes up and attributes a death or mishap to something unrealistic but was already ingrained in his/her mind and goes on to broadcast it as the fact. In the process vital, factual based investigation that should have been done is neglected or forsaken. Left to many Nigerians,Naira Marley for eg,that wasn't in the country when mohbad died, would have been burnt alive as the culprit of his death. |
Rubbish story, rubbish blog. Expired drugs are dangerous, but don't kill swiftly(if they do at all) like they are cyanide that once you take you die within minutes. It's also quite unlikely and unbelievable that same expired drugs would kill 3 adults with differing body constitution. |
Think it will be close. Both legs to end in draws and city goes through on penalties |
I feel the question should rather be directed at Tinubu. Just like YarAdua did when he won his election, Tinubu should come out and acknowledge the election was not totally free and fair. Obi was massively and blatantly outrigged in Rivers by Wike. Same but to lesser degrees in Benue and Plateau states. Even Lagos where he won,the margin was factually greater. When people like the Op see the truth but prefer to live with the lies, how can Nigeria get better? |

slaawomirr:Typed like a novice and football illiterate. So why can't the Liverpool's and Arsenals defeat the small teams if that's what it takes to win the league. As a big team you can't defeat small teams and you want to be EPL champions,is that not stu pidity? |
Rexymania:One thing he is doing right is not being an election politician, like Atiku appears. Atiku only becomes active during electioneering season.Obi is building bridges across Nigeria and being active. He maynot win those Northern states, but come election time he would do better than he did last year because more people now know him, more people now appreciate him and starting to believe he has genuine interest in a better Nigeria. Political calculation wise,Obi too is doing the right things:he knows the North was his hercules heel and is trying to make inroads there. |
How could Palmcredit withdraw money from your account if you didn't give them access in the first place. Sometimes you people imagine you are talking to kids or what. Open up with the full story. No organisation can have access to your account to be withdrawing funds without being granted access. If it occurs without your authorisation, which u have to prove, then it becomes fraud and you should report the bank to CBN for allowing such criminal withdrawal, though you have to prove it |
Your state of mind has been messed up. You have a mental health, rather than a physical disease based on your description of the symptoms you are having and the absence of any issue from the series of tests you said you have done. Seek a psychologist, that's the mental health professional that can help you |
Agadinaagwuofe:Yeah, indeed it was Nassarawa. Thanks for the correction. Googled it now and now read a whopping 65 security officers were confirmed murdered! 55 police and 10 DSS officers, yet there was a painstaking hunt for the killers.Eventhough everyone knows the villagers would have deserted the village, but the security agents didn't go on burning down the entire village and killing innocent civilians because they knew the culprits and went after them, including the original herbalist they came for. |
Abdulg2019:Bush don become forest. How are then able to charge their phones to take pictures, have data to log online and post? What the army and FG are doing is wrong, but nobody should try to play smart here by using some cleverly staged scenes to manipulate views |
bolaayenimo:You don't even know who is at home. Hope you don't end up crying. Arsenal on paper would beat Brighton, but there is something about this feature (Brighton unbeaten at home, and coming at that time of the season when Arsenal start losing their nerves),that should give every Gunner fan cause for concern. With Man City in thier usual late surge,if Arsenal don't navigate this tricky feature,it's over for them again this year. This match could end in a bitter draw for Arsenal |
Well scripted game. Goverment increases it by a stupendous 300%,watches and expects reaction from labour or affected entities, calls labour for negotiation, money changes hands, both sides then accept a new tariff of around 150-180 instead of 225 for band A. The goverment now also says and labour too agrees that smaller percentage increases across all bands would take place. Labour accepts,Nigerians across all bands wake up to new prices across board, ranging from 25% to 100% and everyone carries on as businesss as usual. Meanwhile labour claims victory, while their executives have their bank accounts boosted and goverment gets what it originally intended even before the deceptive band A only exorbitant increase |
Miles300:Men have been known to do more foolish things down the years. See Iran that Israel has been waiting down the years to destroy it's nuclear program so that they don't reach the stage of having enriched uranium to build a nuclear bomb, now wanting to give Israel the legitimate excuse it needs. Iran is so foolish it hasn't asked itself why the likes of Saudi Arabia,Jordan, Egypt, Algeria and Syria have not bothered to enter the conflict. Everyone knows Isreal has gone overboard with its handling of the retaliation against Hamas in Gaza, but there would be a quick reversal of support back to Israel if Iran enters the conflict. Yes,Israel needs US military support but people like Iran seem to forget that Israel is quite capable on its own to not only defend, but attack any Arab nation that threatens its existence. |
Lives of civilians of Okuama, both the ones killed and those still alive but not living don't seem to matter. Behind the outcry over the deaths of the soldiers,no one seem to be asking why the goverment has not instituted a committee to actually investigate the real cause and truth of the whole sordid affair. Yes,the killers should be brought to justice, but at least have the true picture of the circumstances that led to the situation everyone now find themselves. I remember during the time of GEJ,several DSS officers were ambushed as they were on their way to apprehend a famed herbalist in one community in Benue State. The whole village wasn't sacked by the DSS and after several months I think, the man was eventually arrested or even killed along with those that did those DSS killings either killed or arrested. |
blowjohn:You are replying someone, the type of who believe a woman can change to a bird as a witch at night to torment her enemies and that one pastor in Nigeria can by mere casting and touching in a church premises make the paralyzed to walk or even raise the dead. If people like this can believe that, there is no big deal believing Davido has a spare $75m to buy a private jet |
Fools. They won't hold a protest against suffering in the land and even the butchering of their fellow Muslims Northern brothers for years, but anything involving Israeli battle with the Arabs, you see them trooping out and causing nuisance. Everyone knows the Israelis have gone overboard with their response, but why has no Arab country or Muslim also call out Hamas fo it's unprovoked and unprecedented murder of several Israeli and foreign citizens? They should enlist in Hamas and go and fight Israel if they feel so pissed about the whole situation. |
The man is a born clown. So with all the security does he wants any sensible person to think it's an assassination attempt? This one wants to curry sympathy. See the clown Obi is associating with. What makes this man different from the likes of Ghanduje or secondus?Nothing, just the party name |
caye:I am talking A,you are talking B. |
socialmediaman:Years ago when this epileptic power supply became an the norm,on the radio stations, many Nigerians were calling saying "Nigerians would pay,let them just give us constant power, nothing is moving in Nigeria because there is no regular power,Nigerians will pay".I was just laughing,in my mind these are clowns. Just a few years or months later power improved, then tariffs went up.The same calibre of people started lamenting,"the bill is too much". I then became angry because I knew that anyone saying Nigerians would pay any amount for regular power is either a child or mentally challenged. Tariff should be affordable. The most capitalist Nation in the world, the US,even there minimum wage earners can afford to pay tariff, even if it's 24,they just have to regulate their use when they are out. Here even the fabled middle class would soon find it difficult to pay for power. Imagine spending almost 200k a month just for electricity. Is that not madness! |
Son to secure the throne against any coup d'etat. Daughter to ensure any looting is not questioned. Wife to miseducate the citizenry, compulsory citizenship education at all levels where it will be taught that questioning the president or goverment is Haram. |
