Obainoman6:That's ehn,you couldn't have put it more succinctly. Comparing oneself with mates can only lead to sure depression.Such is the nature of life, fortune smiles on different people differently.Even amongst well off, there are others you would see you would then feel that despite your doing ok,you start seeing yourself as a failure. When for eg,osimhein was growing up in Nigeria going to play football with torn boots and torn or ill fitting, dirty jersey, there were people in the neighbourhood that took him as nothing or used to give him money for biscuit, mineral or pure water. His mates may have gone to school, acquired a degree, started working and he would go and eat food or beg them for small change to eat.Even his Nigerian club mates may have been better off than him,but still stuck in Nigeria, earning peanuts. None of them can even come near where he is now, unless he wants to humble himself to see them. Almost all of them would today be begging him to send them small money or help them with one financial challenge or the other, things he can easily solve with just a week's or even just a day's wages for all their problems! Do they now get depressed seeing the small boy of yesterday is now so stupendously rich and famous? Even greats like Okocha,Aiyegbeni,Oruma when they were playing football, osimhein was still probably in primary school thinking of where the next food will come from. Now he may have more assets and properties than them and earning far more than they ever earned throughout their whole careers. Will they see osimhein and be carrying face or get depressed that they played earlier when financial rewards wasn't this much? No. |
Oyetola that was deemed as one of the worst governors Osun State has produced is now being elevated to a performing governor. Wonders shall never end. Without even going into the main substance of the story, you just know this is a poor hatchet job. |
Don't see what is wrong with the loan. It's not as if it's free and there is a express proviso that it can only be disbursed on authorisation by the ABSG. Some today billionaires with no family connection to bank owners have been given loans on far more favorable terms that this one granted to Wigwe's wife. Ok,just saw that one of the worrying issues is that there was no specification of the exact roads to be constructed and their contract sums. |
blowjohn:I assure you some Nigerians have fallen for far less and you then begin to wonder how any normal human being can be so easily scammed |
Economic reality trumping age long cultural and religious belief and practices. Very soon they would be forced to sanction same sex marriages. Lesbianism is not a good practice but tolerable giving realities on the ground, but being gay is just abhorrent. Many female adults today that attended boarding school performed lesbian acts, then became addicted and continued after they passed out,but many male adults in same sex boarding school rather broke school hours to go looking for girls to f uck outside their boarding schools,so you wonder where this gay thing in Africans arose from. |
Makes a lot of sense. Interest rate should infact be reduced drastically to boost productivity. CBN unfortunately like many Nigerian institutions swallow every policy statement from world Bank and IMF without factoring the fact that those textbook prescriptions and projections don't usually work in our peculiar economic environment. |
What should surprise anyone is that Nigeria has still not erupted in mass protests, riots and more rampant cases of this kind of looting, despite the severe hunger in the land. |
Omo! FIRST loss since MTN started operating in NGR!! Emilokan,Emilokan, here we are!!! |
Thugnificent:I am sorry for not meeting up but most importantly for doubting your story in the first place, due to bitter exieriences of similar styled threads in the past. May you come out of this stronger. |
Yes,he has largely fulfilled criteria, but circumstances beyond my control makes it impossible for me to keep to what I said. I really wanted to give him something at least, but things unfortunately came up,so it's no longer possible. Wish him all the best and my prayers are with the op. |
RepoMan007:This analysis is upside down. The increased number of shops or businesses engaging in the same trade should drive prices down. |
Thugnificent:No need for that. |
Thugnificent:Your family has money to take you to a psychiatric hospital but can't refund you back your 18k? Do some of you even read what you fabricate or your just believe you would meet at least one gullible soul that would believe your rubbish fabrications. You are in a psychiatric hospital but still has access to your phone and can still type well. Just come out directly to beg than all these pathetic lies. |
AmazingELixir:Many dullards unfortunately have already swallowed it hook, line and sinker |
MrBroke:Use his own fingerprint to unlock her own account? You go school so or you didn't read what you typed. |
bikerboy1:That is one other thing though. Being told it's 1450 and seeing it to buy without any hassles at that quoted price are 2 different things |
Pls drop further. No reasonable person wants to see depreciation because it caused a lot of turmoil. The things blabulu should have done before floating the Naira he is now trying to do after causing severe haemorrhage with his callous, nonsensical statements and policies. Nigeria and its currency CANNOT withstand the severe damage a free floating of its currency will cause. Assuming minimum wage in all sectors was about 100k from present 21k or 30k and the average earner was on 450-500k salary, then a free float would have sailed through and be absorbed |
So Puff Daddy is gay? What kind of rubbish life is that? How can he find joy in his fellow man? They say being gay is not a mental issue but a life style choice. I still disagree because it just doesn't make any normal brain sense for a man to find his fellow man sexually attractive.Sickening! |
Jennyclay:Always with rubbish comments. I am sure you are a guy posing as a female and your comments are always off because you want to be noticed. |
Ajaero is a very big disgrace. Is he not even embarassed that he has always gone back on his numerous protest threats, this one he managed to start,he still went back to his vomit. Since it was just for 2days,why didn't you see it out at least to save face |
Where will the money come from or are they now printing money to be distributing like you are sharing biscuits? |
LegendHero:You believe sourceless stories like this? So someone will cook a full grown child in a pot, without slicing the child into smaller bits. Have you not bothered to ask yourself how a child can fit into a pot of soup? Or they throw anything at you and you believe hook, line and sinker? |
The man is just giving a convenient excuse. I bet all along he knew where that boy was,if not he must be the most foolish, cowardly and unfit parent in the world.Or maybe the boy was his step-son,so he cared less what happens to him. You want to tell the gullibles that for 2 years you didn't set eyes or communicate with your biological child,a child, not an adult, and you didn't bother to find out where he is or involve family members to force your wife to produce him?Unbelievable and convenient to absolve himself of complicity. At the same time ,the havoc some pastors cause is unbelievable and this perchant for mostly women to believe and obey what their pastors,a fellow human being, tell them to do,even if it sounds odd,is so surreal atimes you wonder if their brains were taken away |
There is no shortage of food,fo ol. It's that the food is too expensive and no money to buy and now because of blabulu s tupidity in floating the ₦,people are now smuggling goods across the border because their currency is stronger/gives higher profit when converted to Naira. I wonder how some of these semi-illiterates became union leaders, dishing out village men ideas. If you want to buy anything in the market,it's available, rice, beans, indomnie, spaghetti, yam, oil, tomato, sugar, salt, cooking gas, water, soft drinks and beverages, etc;the issue is that it's not affordable, stupid! |
Daniel7543:Between the nonsense you quoted and yourself, it's difficult to pick out who amongst either is foolish and on colos. You still quoted the whole damn spam just to type 2 lines of rubbish. Sickening! |
Frigga13:I am actually surprised the North has held on for this long with this amount of suffering. This is a hardship that even food palliatives that many northern schools enjoy can't solve because many state governments can either no longer afford it or cannot sustain it. You also stated an indisputable fact, any protest that would shake or even topple this goverment would be that in the North,no protest can do that in the South because groups, organisations or individuals can easily be bought based strictly on financial motives or tribal/regional blackmail |
Never4getU:That's the part I don't like and is irritating. Yes,Ibos are justified in not protesting because of the warnings they gave about the dire consequences of a Tinubu presidency, but to go about saying the Ibos are inmuned from the suffering and to justify that by posting pictures and videos of them merry making is just childish. If established businesses and business men and women, even large scale are feeling the heavy brunt of balablu unrivalled incompetence and mismanagement, then no person or tribe is safe. No SEast protest, understandable;no suffering in SEast or affecting SEasterners,no sir. |
The good thing about this news, even if fake,is that it will give blabulu a better inkling that people are not happy with the course of events since he became president. It may even be the reason he set up an economic advisory committee today after meeting with industry titans. Let him know that if things don't improve, even if no coup materialises, the continued rumblings and rumours will continue unsettling his goverment |
In government extravagance alone,Obi,maybe Atiku, would have done a lot to reduce if not totally eradicate it. How can you be flying private jet, nass members buying imported, ultra expensive jeeps and you are renovating houses with billions in times of great economic strife. Anyway, Tinubu has nothing upstairs,he just wanted to be called president at all cost. |
descartes400:Begin to wonder too. In that pathway there doesn't seem any artery that can be ruptured that can cause that massive bleed. Unless the truth of the actual procedure done, the tool used is not correct. The whole story just doesn't add up. Wish it was an advanced society this happened or an unbiased thorough autopsy could be done,so as to reveal the true cause of this mysterious death and if the doctors could have done anything different because with a thorough autopsy it could still come out that neither the surgeon nor anaesthetist was at fault. |
This is not current news na |
