Emilokan is taking advice.
If he tackles corruption decisively, then, maybe, people would start to take him serious.
You don't have the likes of Akpabio heading the senate and budget padding without taking action ,and expect to be taken seriously

Good.
There are many of them on SM threatening and wishing harm on people just for their views or having contrary opinion.
Someone disagrees with your X or other SM view, the next thing you write false things about the person or threaten the person.
Let him spend some months in jail to learn a lesson.
Business › Re: Naira Strengthens Against The Dollar, Sells At N1400/$ On The Parallel Market by seborrhic: 3:55pm On Mar 20, 2024
It was pure speculation that was driving that alarming slide and because of it,people were withholding their dollars, even Nigerians abroad and those they sent dollars down here, believing it was heading to 2k and even beyond when they would then release it.
Many even did it at the risk of not getting the essentials it was sent for.
Also some bought to hoard for same reasons.
Seeing now that it's been falling and fearing their dollars is relatively losing value and may continue doing so,they are gradually releasing it,while still watching.
If it falls to say 1400 or even 1300,I foresee a panic dump of dollars into the market

Very convenient that he released a 2022 screenshot of his number being asked for an interview with the CNN.
Being the childish person he is, it's even clear that the person that demanded his number did him a big favour because it was for a CNN interview not for any personal chat between them.
This alone proves the alaoye is a deceptive, opportunistic person, willing to twist and lie about a narrative to suit his narrative.
So asking for your number to forward to a CNN journalist that wants to feature you in a CNN program is her demanding a personalisation of a movement that links both of you?
Lying, clown!
Crime › Re: Killing Of Army Personnel At Okuoma: The Genesis Of The Crisis by seborrhic: 12:30am On Mar 20, 2024
Who are those thanking him for the story?
That's how you lots allow yourself to be easily hoodwinked by tales by moonlight.
Caveat,I don't believe the army's version of events too.
But my questions in this op narration are these:
If the Okuoma community youths believed the killed soldiers were fake, how did they now kill the entire 19 soldiers?Remember these soldiers were also armed because he admitted they were the ones that started the shooting in the meeting ground.
If you know so much, where were they killed? In the meeting ground or ambushed in the creeks as they were returning to base?
You claim some lives were lost from the army shootings?Where are the pictures and videos because I am pretty certain that in these days of smart or even ordinary camera phones, someone openly or secretly was recording the proceedings. If they were not, some people would definitely have taken pictures of the people killed by the soldiers.
My point is this;you are making it sound like you were there when the entire episode happened, when you clearly was nowhere near it and heard version of the story from someone else.
Unless it was a premeditated mass murder, there is no way the whole 19 soldiers would have been murdered without there being mass casualties on the community side and one or 2 escaping to base.

Is Nigeria now America?
Minimum wage in USA for a day is minimum wage for a month in Nigeria ($15/hr x 8 hours x N1500/$1) NGN160,000
Rent for a week in USA is rent for a year in Nigeria ($500/wk @N1500/$1 x 4 weeks = N3,000,000
We musn't compare and base everything with the US. Your account wont balance.

And what exactly are you doing that you want other "people to go and verify how much his counterpart in the US will collect..."?
It's not that you are busy or even have anything better to do apart from NL and/or faffing around the neighborhood that you can't do this on behalf of everyone. Put your money where your mouth is.
Don't mind the fools.
Flight and hotel bills in us would be at least 3times what it is in Nigeria.
Staff that are employed in the us would be earning about 10times what their counterparts would be earning.
So if an investigator would do the job with $1.3m in the US,then it should be about $300-500k equivalent in Nigeria.
I repeat Obazee is a criminal. He worked to an already prepared answer.
A man that said Emefiele and former SGF of the Federation were seen carrying boxes of money from the CBN vault is not only a clown, but an incompetent one at that.
Politics › Re: Jim Obazee Requests Over N2 Billion From CBN Governor, Officials Concerned by seborrhic: 9:37pm On Mar 19, 2024
Obazee is a criminal.
This same man was indicted during the regime of Buhari.
Years down the line, his investigation period would be found to be another avenue for him to loot the treasury.

jmoore:
Imagine the nonsense statement.

The clown ended up saying nothing.

Did the army burn down houses or not? You wan dribble us like JJ Okocha.
That is ehn, there is no part of the statement that even addressed the alleged disinformation.
Like everything Babablu has hurriedly acted on without thought,I fear that the initial shock Nigerians hard when they heard the news of the killing of the officers may soon backfire and turn to indignation and even anger against the military when further details of the truth of the whole episode and the genocide the army is carrying out, start coming to light.
This is not Odi of 1999,today there is SM with smart phones in every pocket, you cannot hide the truth for long or carry out atrocities without it being known and spread.
This genocide as pictures start emerging may even breed a new set of militants because you cannot murder innocent people, raze their community and expect all the youths with no home or family any longer to sit back and just accept their faith.
Like in "fuel subsidy is gone" error, Tinubu has empowered the military to carry out atrocities without first telling them to carry out a thorough investigation

The criminality behind this subsidy issue is still unveiling. Someone just wake up one day to the lie of subsidy gone with no modality to cushion the ripple effects of such major economic decision and people are not asking questions.

Of course it does not take much for one to know that an itchy criminal who criminally found his way in government will only continue to govern by lies and propaganda. This govt is the most criminally inclined ever seen. Being impulsive is not political sagacity.
"Subsidy is gone" on inauguration day is the most foolish, most ill-mannered and most ill-prepared statement EVER uttered by a living or dead military or civilian head of government in recorded history.
To now also float the ₦ with it,same period,is taking stupid ity in presidential action to psychotic levels.
As dull and clueless as Buhari was,a man that could be easily manipulated like a puppet,by people around him,or was at other times unaware of how his office was being used to commit grand heist and other criminal actions,he still had the presence of mind and sanity to thread carefully on both policy fronts.

No anti venom in any hospital in Nigeria.
So you think there is antivenom in every hospital in Australia or the US?
The major difference is the response time and means of transport, then the awareness and knowledge of those around.
In those countries,no matter where the incident occurred, they can quickly transport the antivenom by emergency airlift, even if it's just 2 bottles.1hr topmost, the antivenom is already in the hospital to be injected.
Imagine an individual bitten by a venomous snake in Lagos State for example and the only antivenom present is in Gombe state.Getting it even from the store to the gate of the antivenom facility may take 3hours and transporting to Lagos may take another 3days if lucky

There is a difference between tracking and recovery.
You may track it,but can it be recovered?
What you are after is recovery I guess.
What people can do and are offering in Nigeria is tracking, knowing the present location of the phone.I have hardly heard of anyone that used tracking of a phone to recover it because the thief moves with the phone from one location to another.
Wish you the best though because others may wish to know how to actually RETRIEVE A STOLEN PHONE.

Okuama Igbo Community in Delta Holds Massive Oil and Gas Deposits. Residents believe no soldiers was killed, they just wanted to burn the community and drive them away. An anonymous said the government already sold the land as part of an oil bloc to a multinational company to drill. The company couldn't drill with community in the area, so they devised a plan to chase them out, that's why they are burning the our houses. There is no logical explanation for them to be burning houses if not to strategically displace the locals and prevent them from returning.

Your leaders mission is to improvished the people which obviously they had achieved. Abi how many household can boast of 3 square meal daily under Tinubu government? Were Nigerians this improvished under Jonathan, yaradua and even Buhari government? It is a mission accomplished by your useless leaders. Then the next is to throw food at them like almajiri at the IDP camp.
All these is besides the point because your rebuttal is based on the assumption that I must be a Tinubu supporter.
Every reasonable person knows Tinubu is a disaster but my own argument is based on the fact the person I quoted said this program is a handout.Clearly it's not because it's neither free goods or is the discount even that great,25%.
People seem to forget that even in the most capitalist Nation on earth, the US,there are still food banks, social security guaranteed income for ALL American citizens not working and even this same discounted food markets for those that don't mind or are low on cash for varying reasons or need to save cash on food to meet up with other expenses.
This is because they understand food is the primary sustainer of life and if you eat,you can save or totally forgot other expenses on health, transport, travel or leisure

Better for them. But i prefer a system where my handwork will count and not giving me handouts. My dignity is important.
How in God's name is this a handout?
Lagos State buys goods wholesale direct from farmers or manufacturers.Instead of the price being say 2000 in the free market, they sell 1700 or 1600.So how is it a handout which you pay for.
Remember, the state will bear the cost of transport from the company, won't pay omoonile on the road and won't pay market levy, some of the cost that are added by the ordinary seller to get at 2000.
So how again is this a fu cking handout.
Some of you are really disgusting.
The only issue here is whether it's a sustainable policy because of it is,the mainstream market people would have to reduce their own prices which in Nigeria these days are most times union determined or uniform because you can easily communicate with any trader and ask him what is the price of goods in his side.If it's higher, someone in Badagry that sold at lower price in the morning would have jerked his/her price before you finish leaving the same store.

Why do you people think the Akpabio fraud of using hundreds of millions to build a less than ₦1m borehole to them is normal business?
This is the way they have been running the country since 2015.Every appointment or contract is seen as a god given chance to loot and steal as much as possible within the time period you last or the contract lasts.
This is a country where LP candidates that hitherto even had to have contributions to buy nomination forms, couldn't campaign because they had no money and whose flag bearer Obi campaigned based on his integrity, anti corruption and anti wastage of government funds stance;when they won elections into NASS,not only kept quiet when things were done against that motto, but actively participating in the fraud and sleaze wherever they are opportuned.

I just started mine, too.
I’ve acquired 20 acres for 10 years at #400k
But my intention is to use the money I earmarked to it to the full extent it will go on the land.
I want to make sure it enters 10 acres and I can expand later when I get more money.
The labor will cost money. The guy I brought from Togo is asking for a brand new Bajaj motorcycle after a year.
But he will be the one taking care of the farm while I provide food and shelter close to the farm. That has been sorted.

My plan is to process it to garri, elubo, lafu, pupuru and even fufu.
I pray God help me o
I’ll still create a thread on the progress made.
From the farm proceeds you would buy him a Bajaj motorcycle of almost 800k still pay his rent and feed him. From what profit I like to ask?
People saying 20 acres should give you 2-3m,I just laugh.
Farming can be unpredictable and volatile.
Has transport of the harvest been factored, has loss been factored, has maybe emergency purchase of pesticide or other unexplained expenses been factored.
The same way there was a rave of people making millions from investing in rice farming and other farms about 3-4 years ago.
People rushed expecting to double their money in 6months,only to discover it was a glorified Ponzi scheme.
You may make it,but just open your mind to possibilities and challenges that may also ruin one.
If all these farming was that lucrative and straightforward, you got to ask yourself while many more people are not into it

The hardship is real.
Businesses are collapsing, people are struggling to feed themselves talkless of family.
Imagine a situation where you have to spend 3 times what you are used to to feed, twice to transport, and twice to pay bills.
You are cumulatively looking at a situation where your cumulative expenses have increased by about 10times and your income(if you are lucky to have any) has remained the same or even diminished.
10times additional expenses is just unbearable and unattainable for many,so frustration and depression set in and if you are not string enough, you start entertaining thiughts of suicide.
