DemonAngel:
So he could'nt condomize.
Didnt abort.
Didnt send her far away to train her there as soon as she was born.

,
It's simple na!
By keeping her close,he kept her on a leash and thus can control all her actions, movements and talk.
If he had allowed her roam free, many people would have known he had an illegitimate daughter and started looking at him differently.
I for eg,didn't know till this story broke and so would be many other people.
The time I knew T.B.was a scam was the miracles and the fact I held told by some attendees that they sell one "powerful holy water" there and you must buy to have access to the church. As at then, about 10 years ago it was ₦5000 per one!
Any church that the pastor claims he performs miracles and cures diseases by mere touch or his hand on the sufferer,is a pure scam.
There is no pastor living that has any special power to perform any miracle, all are just scams.
The last miracle worker was Jesus Christ.Even Pope's that have come after him till now with their celibacy don't lay claim to performing miracles at an event, talkless of a Nigerian pastor that bleeps a woman, fornicates, lusts after women secretly and some even patronise herbalists and are gays or pedophiles.
If only BBC can spread the net of investigation to other churches, they would wreck the sandy foundation on which many of them were built.

Spiff20:
Suspension does not equate to losing a job. She's only suspended until investigations are complete.
Funniest and most childish comment today.
So after this much scandal and uproar, even if by a miracle or fraudulent investigation, she is pronounced not guilty, you think she would be reinstated to office?
Clowns are too much on nairaland
Politics › Re: Betta Edu Denied Access To Meet President Tinubu, After Her Suspension by seborrhic: 4:59pm On Jan 08, 2024
The audacity of it all.
These appointees sometimes want to belittle the office of the president, maybe because of the way they were appointed.
Asides from the cabinet meetings,it's quite rare for ministers and appointees to have a one on one meeting with the president, unless summoned.
A minister can go throughout his/tenure without having any direct meeting with the president.
You go through the Chief of Staff's office, which itself is a large office with his own personal secretary and deputy chief of staff, permanent secretary etc.
Even the COS sometimes has to then get appointment to see the president through the president's own personal secretary or personal assistant.

Myhusband:
she goofed big time, money she suppose steal small small she won steal am once, if she had succeed, she would have end up in abroad

progress of this country is not praying solution, it's integrity driven Solution
There is nothing like goofing.
I bet it's the norm in other ministries,it just seems as if Beta didn't play her cards well and was trying to play holy or smart, that's why her enemies dug deep and came up with something that stuck home.
There are other ministers far more corrupt than her, using different formats to steak humongous sums from Nigeria. If they don't allow the loot to spread round, just a little digging and paying the right people for information would also unearth skeletons in their cupboards.
Politics › Re: President Tinubu Suspends Betta Edu, Minister Of Humanitarian Affairs by seborrhic: 2:08pm On Jan 08, 2024
As expected.
The challenge for Tinubu now is keeping to this template because I am pretty sure he's going to be busy with scandals and corrupt deeds of his appointees as the weeks, months and years go by.
The question is:when the corrupt deed comes nearer home or cronies, will the same sledge hammer be used or he would formulate a new standard where just the broom will be used?
Politics › Re: Betta Edu: When Obasanjo, Yar'adua Were Presidents - TonyeBarcanista by seborrhic: 11:12am On Jan 08, 2024
Obasanjo had his imperfections, one of which I assume is believing he knew it all and others were beneath or did not key into his vision, but he has been the best president Nigeria has had since this Republic.
He laid the foundations of many of the institutions and framework of governance Nigeria is now using.
He also had a penchant for being intolerant of corruption,if it was brought to his notice.
Ditto YarAdua:He may have been weak with family, but the man had a determined vision and zero tolerance for not just corruption but shady affairs and abuse of office.I was even under the impression that if the man had lived long enough,he may not have tolerated the corrupt deeds carried out by his family, relations or cronies. This is the only Nigerian leader that openly declared his asset, without prompting and did a lot within the short time he led.He was the one that started the reform of the electoral system that has culminated in the progress we have today.
Comparing YarAdua and Buhari in terms of integrity is like comparing peanut butter and sour margarine.
I believe Tinubu may eventually sack Edu,but the challenge will be if he can keep up with the sackings because there is no doubt this goverment will rival Buhari's in terms of the looting that will take place.

Majority of incarcerated men in Nigeria return to crime or become new criminals after release.
Nigerian prisons turn innocent people to criminals and criminals to hardened ones.

It's not true, I know the band,i even contributed money when a crowd funding was raised.. The money wasn't even one quarter of the stated..

Why they chose to inflate the figure is what I don't understand.
Thank you.
I didn't need to even have anyone verify the story for me to know it's a big lie.
If you have dealth with the average Nigerian you would know how their mindset works and how they operate;every opportunity is seen as a way to make some money.
There is no doubt some stories may be true, but the simple trick is: does the maths add?Is the time frame for the events to occur possible?Look at the assumed worth of the person or group and then look at the possibilities of getting the amount of money mentioned in that time frame from donors or sources to the kidnappers. If the maths and those things don't add, then it's a bloody lie no matter the curses you receive and anyone trying to guilt trip you into praying not to be a victim one day.
One bloody imp even wished I don't witness such just because I tried pointing out the fraud in their claims.
Like the typical Nigerian that knows or sees his pastor doing wrong but you are told that you shouldn't call him out because he is a "M.O.G"!

resign goods jobs and go work in old peoples homes .in dorms
Save £1000 pounds per month from your job,by end of a year, you have already recouped your ₦15m,then from the second year, you would be living and spending large in Nigerian currency, buy lands etc

Corrupt politicians and yahoo boys have made you people think ₦90m is something you just go to the bank and raise at the tip of your finger.
How was it moved and who collected it?
If he had said ₦9m,I would believe, but to tell me ₦91m was raised at the flip of a hat makes me very suspicious and my thinking is that he mentioned that sum so that sympathizers would then raise the funds as a means of compensation

Crime › Re: Police Officers Injured, Residents Kidnapped As Bandits Attack Bwari Communities by seborrhic: 12:53pm On Jan 04, 2024
There is a link between the hardship in the land and the increasing crime wave.
The suffering in the land is enormous and knowing that death may come through hunger, some not so thick skinned to suffering individuals, are taking their chances:death by hunger, disease and lack of or jail at worst from crime.
The socioeconomic implications of the suffering this government has unleashed may get worse if nothing is done: majority no longer see yahoo on the male side or runs on the female side as crimes, but legitimate hussles of survival for those not so criminally inclined.
The hardship wrought by naira devaluation and petrol price increase with its attendant, generalised consequences, must be addressed,if not this year may be very bloody Nationwide.
Politics › Re: Unemployment Rate In Akwa Ibom Rate Is 51% But The State built a 32b Church by seborrhic: 5:37pm On Jan 03, 2024
The poor Nigerians that are bearing the brunt of the severe economic hardship wrought by Tinubu were the same ones that trooped in their thousands to line the streets of Lagos to welcome him.No single protest,no single placard to tell him first hand that they are truly suffering.
The same church they go to worship and the pastor does something wrong, involved with paedophiles, sleeps with married women, beats his wife,or is even a gay and the same worshippers would tell you not to judge him, that you should not "touch thou anointing".
An average northern Muslim protests in their thousands when Palestinians are killed by Israelis or Americans, but are quiet when Boko Haram butchers not just any Nigerian, but their fellow Muslims!
What's my point:it's in the mindset of the average Nigerian, they value the abstract or anything you place God on,than facing and the realities of life.
Summary:Nigerians are one of the most,if not the most hypocritical people on earth.
Health › Re: How Agbo Is Killing Nigerians by seborrhic: 12:41pm On Jan 03, 2024
Pure bunkum.
Agbo consumption is bad and yes should be discouraged simply because the components and mixtures are not known nor the safe dosage known, but to link Agbo consumption to claimed upsurge in kidney cases is just pure gibberish.
Scientific study done by those that do proper studies abroad have shown hypertension, diabetes and infections as leading causes of kidney failures;drugs and toxins come way down the chart.
If there has been an upsurge in kidney cases in Nigeria,it simply has to do with awareness and the greater availability of diagnostic tools for ailments that was formerly attributed to malaria, typhoid or "spiritual attack"
Don't cone and use your assumptions or the typical Nigerian way of having an already wanted answer then using presumptions to back up the answer,as fact.

When you are doing well you are better than god, but went things sour you are worse than the devil
Some supporters can not only be annoying but ultra useless.
Imagine some already saying Saka is just good on paper,Xhaka is far better than Havertz.
The same f ucking Xhaka they was a regular butt of condemnation against the Havertz that has come up with crucial goals!
The same Saka that has been the face of Arsenal and England!!
Yes,the team didn't perform well today, that is why it's football and the EPL for that matter;it sometimes doesn't go to form and expectation, but to now condemn players that have been doing very well over 1 or 2 bad days and results is just damn irritating.
Put Xhaka in the team if he was available and the same useless people praising him now would do a fast turnaround if he has his usual off day and be asking why a coach would bench a Havertz that can at least give you one or 2ccrucial goals for a Xhaka that can"neither score, tackle or give 2 accurate passes"?

I bet you are the type of fan that had Xhaka and Partey been available and played by the coach, you would curse the coach with all manner of language asking why he would be fielding Xhaka and Partey and calling them useless players. But because they are not playing,to you they are now good players that are better than those playing!
