adioolayi:
The whole school shouldn't be punished for what some misfits did.
Well "saids". Something happened outside of the school environment, that is still under investigation and the usual approach is to shut down the entire school! Is the school a crime scene? Why not also shut down the swimming pool where the incident happened if they have an idea of what they are doing,or they are just doing eye service, punishing innocent people for the alleged crimes of a few! Now observe their double standards:when that BRT driver killed Bamisile inside a BRT bus, even when evidence became obvious of the crime, this same 'proactive' goverment not only allowed the entire BRT to continue operations, but the particular bus where the murder took place, continued running even after the culprit was arrested!! |
Juicygees:Nigerians and bragging. It usually ends in "why did he go to that extent, how much is the money self,is it more than life"? Or begging and saying "it's the Devil's work". By that time you are spending 10x the amount you lost to the bank to treat the person or repair damages,if you are lucky that the person is alive, and spending some weeks at least in prison, again if you are lucky not to spends years or be charged for murder for your st upidity. Many people out of inability to control their emotions and follow issues with a sane mind,no matter how painful the loss, have found their own lives turned upside down if not changed negatively for ever. |
Which electoral value does Kwankwaso have? His only base is Kano which he would lose to Tinubu and Atiku with not up to 200k votes to his name. Paperweight politician feeling funky. Obi would do his political fortune and most importantly career a massive blow if he ever decides to even entertain the idea of being a vice to Kwankwaso. |
Extra judicial killing. 5 people shot and all 5 died on their way! Maybe the police even wanted to cover up something so killed the alleged armed robbers. |
The most disgraceful thing for any Igboman alive should be that there are Igbos that listen to what this efulefu from Ebonyi state,in faraway Finland,is saying. |
Damn hilarious, meanwhile the "greet first" guy was being serious. |
The contradiction and irony in this post is mind bugging. A man doesn't like using condom but has been masturbating for a year, even when married. A man asking on a forum for an abortion pill, when abortion is a criminal offence in Nigeria for the provider and the direct and indirect procurers of the abortion. You would be ok when the eight one comes, don't worry. |
Nothing surprising here. Outside they present the attributes of being different, having shiploads of integrity, but once you do just a surface investigation and review, you find all talk of integrity are just sham. That beneath the media propaganda, these Northern politicians are as corrupt, some even more, than their southern counterparts. They deceive their kin and the simple minded with the PR of drinking tea on a mat with the commoners and claiming to live in a bungalow. Ever since Buhari was found to be a first class scam of a pious man, there is no northern politician that would deceive me any longer with the facade of integrity.None! |
So true |
alkines:It's only a frustrated person that will seat down and concoct a tale just to get people to patronise a business. If you can lie so boldly and forge a story on a public forum for a business, then you can also do anything in that business with people's money. If any sensible person had an intention of patronising Piggyvest & whatever you are promoting, they would have a rethink having seen how you concocted a tale to promote it. |
alkines:Rubbish,Stu PID,senseless story. If meant as an advert it failed. If concocted,it also failed. |
This looks bad |
ACallForHelp:Despite and inspite that the agent must be making efforts on his own to recover his money. Police too would be interested in helping him because they may tell him that they will take a percentage of the funds if recovered. So just try and see if you can have a conversation with him, telling him your own findings and efforts thus far. Unless the parents don't want you to because they had rather not see their daughter than have her be caught as a thief and probably jailed |
thecommunist:Must you quote the whole damn thing! Op,what of the POS agent.Which steps is he taking to trace the girl and recover his money? No POS agent would loose 200k just like that. Collaborate with him or find out how far he too has gone in tracking the girl. |
This Seun always posting like someone that barely managed to pass through secondary school. So dull despite birthing the biggest forum in Africa. |
emmamajesty:Then they are all going to learn a bitter lesson. They should plead ignorance or illiteracy to the banks or MoMo or courts and see where that gets them. |
emmamajesty:You seem not to even understand the gravity of the situation. One way or the other people use financial institutions, even if they are poor,be it POS,Momo, etc. The banks simply allow crediting of the account, but won't allow money to be taken out. For those they feel their transactions won't pay for the funds they stole, they just send police after them because it's fraud and we are talking of the 2 biggest set of organisations in Nigeria,MTN and the banks, that can easily mobilise the police or EFCC to go after the thieves. If they can't get back the money, they are charged to court and would be jailed! You think it's one ₦10k or ₦100k scam against Mr owolabi or Chukwudi we are talking about here where the person would be lamenting and cursing the fraudster only. |
emmamajesty:They will all soon cry and suicide rates may skyrocket because they would be made to pay every single Kobo till they die. With BVN there is no hiding place for such thieves. From the report on the filed case, the banks are not disputing such illegal transaction and crediting occurred, they only told MTN they can only act if MTN via Momo issues them with a court mandated order. This the court is likely to do,then the banks become empowered to stop transactions on all the affected accounts or seize funds in those still credit worthy till all the monies are recovered. Since this affects almost all banks, those criminals would easily have their accounts traced and promptly blocked. It's foolishness in this day of BVN and Nin to feel one can get away with stealing funds not belonging to oneself, particularly when it's money belonging to a big institution, not your individual credit scam where the person so defrauded may forgo the money when he/she thinks of all the police stress, bribes to the police or EFCC to act and the amount of time it would take to have back his/her stolen funds. |
kuma007:Ok.Learnt a new one today. Thought the Bible or Quaran as the case maybe was supplied by the state house officials. |
Why is he carrying a side bag to the swearing-in? Is that his talisman that is so precious he couldn't drop it with a aide or even the chair he sat on? |
Another ogogoro gist from Sowore, published as report. Rather believe a pig than anything SR publishes. |
Jollof15: ![]() I give up on you. Despite being dull, you are also vision challenged. |
Jollof15:Good you asked. Having first corrected your sentence, let me help you also:

Fuc king corrupt, Sharia court judge that should never have smelt an ordinary customary court, talkless a supreme court bench. One of the f ucking nepotic legacies of Buhari, neglecting all commonsense,in order to entrench his ingrained nepotic tendencies. |

Nigeriayouthmov:Why should I complain about goverment in a matter that doesn't concern them? Does it not sound prospesterous to you that the man in question first complained that the first hospital didn't tell him he had cancer;then the second overdosed him, based on his own narrative? Does commonsense not tell you this is an individual wanting to take people or organisations down with him, having got the life changing diagnosis of cancer? In any hospital anywhere in the world,a doctor cannot see you on a first visit and give you a definitive diagnosis of cancer. It's even worse in Nigeria where when you tell someone there is a suspicion of that kind of ailment and there is need for further definitive tests and scans, they either rebel or refuse to do the tests due to the exorbitant cost. When they now continue getting bad healthwise, with obvious signs of a debilitating disease to everyone and having tried many acclaimed magical herbs or native doctors, with no improvement, they then rally round for the tests, that having confirmed the cancer diagnosis, they now turnaround to accuse the initial institution of not informing them on time. There is nothing you would tell me about this kind of case that would surprise me because I know how the mindset of such people work;they rather deflect blame and look for someone person to blame, other than themselves,so that they and their loved ones and acquaintances can channel their grievances to that organisation or person to give them something to hold unto as the cause of their ailment and overlook whatever fault may have been that of the patient through his/her lifestyle or neglect of taking initial actions prescribed. |
Originalsly:I am not the law court and of course the court process may still eventually acquit him of the offence. But the idea that it wasn't for commercial gain is just ludicrous. Successful organ donation is usually by family members because there is higher probability that all the medical tests and matching parameters tested for would fit.Otherwise the chance of using a random donor that matches is low, unless a data base already exists of the recipient, the daughter in this case, and the donor, which obviously wasn't the case here. That kind of stuff exists in the Western world because there is a data base of recipients and once a legitimate donor or corpse with prior consent to harvest his/her organ becomes available,it's automatically matched and the recipient immediately informed and made ready for the surgery. Why didn't the Ekweremadu's use any of their other children if it was out of the acclaimed love of their daughter?Afterall one can live a healthy live with just a single functioning kidney. If this guy had even gone through the tests, the chance of him being a match would be quite low. They likely promised him a monetary compensation, forged one consent form they would present to the hospital incase of the tests coming out as a match. |
Originalsly:Organ donation even by a "papa" or a recently deceased corpse for commercial gain is also criminal. So being 15 or 23 doesn't matter. The only thing is that if he is officially accepted to be a minor and the Ekweremadu's were aware, the crime becomes even more serious. They are even lucky the offence wasn't committed in the U.S.where the prosecutors would be very careful not to mess up the case& get a conviction because there even sleeping with a minor is a serious criminal offence, talkless organ harvesting of a minor. |
Every stage is a blame. The hospital that at first didn't tell you is cancer is to be blamed. The one that is now treating you for the cancer is also to be blamed for "overdosing you". I bet if they didn't start treating you or resorted to surgery, the patient would still have blamed them for doing surgery.I won't even be surprised if he later comes to blame the treating hospital for placing him on chemotherapy instead of doing surgery. If this doesn't work, the next blame would be why they started treatment in the first place instead of referring him to India. One sided story to put fault on others as usual, typical of the Nigerian. |
He would invoke the wrath of God. Mere 3 months salary. Old pensioners in states like Abia with nothing to live on but their pensions, asides maybe children, are being owed 24-36months pension, yet they are not contemplating suicide. There are some families in some states where parents are both civil servants, kids are still young or jobless, being owed several months of salaries, yet they are still forging on and not thinking of suicide. But here,a young man's first thought over MPower of ₦20k per month salary arrears of 3 months,is suicide! Why can't he make the ultimate sacrifice of letting his suicide have some impact by going to Aso Rock or his state governor's residence and pouring fuel on himself, than wasting it. |
If Osinbajo contests under any other party, aside from not winning a single state,he may not get up to 10,000 votes in total. |
This is how you people make a f ool of yourselves in the guise of making meaningful contributions. Eventhough I know your post is full of hearsay and ogogoro joint information, but for the sake of argument: So Ekwerenmadu and his wife, exposed and educated didn't know that: Soliciting organ for financial gain, even if an adult,is a criminal offence? Adding to the jeopardy is the graver offence of using an underage. |
