So many NLDers viewing this thread but only a few are posting

I expect the gals to get one more goal in the 2nd half.

Who are we likely to meet in Quater Finals as group winners?

End of 1st 45. Nigeria 2 Italy 0, Brazil 0 Korea 0

If it stays like this for 90mins, Nigeria qualify for the Quarter Finals

I'm shocked shocked

Deji was a "reporter extraordinaire". Channels won't be the same without him. . .

No other Nigerian station is good enough for him. Won't be surprised if he resurfaces as the Nigerian correspondent of one of those International News stations.

khanivorous: Now that's definitely a MUST WATCH...

Even with its maranthi levels, it beats TDKR and avenger #IMHO#

The kombats were so real and way off the charts which makes me wonder who is gonna play the ' drug lord's foreman' role ( steven seagal or mark dacascus or jet li) in the hollywood version.
Used 700mb of my data bundle to download the 720p BRRip of the movie last nite.

I haven't watched it yet but I've skip-previewed it & seen some of the action/fighting scenes (the part he was trying to force a door open and some peeps brandishing machetes cornered him in the narrow hall and he turned back to fight them) and I gats say they looked very realistic.

It's on queue for me to watch after Avengers which I'm on right now. Will be back with my comments then. . . .

Someone should please tell me what Keshi sees in Efe Ambrose cos I don't see it? huh

I mean, why not invite Onyekachi Apam instead undecided

Last time I checked he was fit and playing regularly for Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1. Hell, he even featured for his club today in the 3-2 defeat of SC Bastia. smiley

Overall, it's not a bad list. Wish the Super Eagles the best against Liberia
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Italy: U-20 Women's World Cup (4 - 0) On Sunday August-26-2012 by semid4lyfe(mod):
The gals have to be more mobile & accurate in their passing and the transition from defence-midfield-attack must be more fluid.

Against Brazil, there were a lot of misplaced passes and the midfield caved in which led to undue pressure on the defence.

Also, hope the Bench does it work this time as it cost us victory against Brazil with that wrong substitution.

Still haven't forgotten what Baggio did in '94 and it still hurts. I'll make do with a Falconets victory tomorrow.

Go Gals. . .Do me Proud! kiss

JallowBah: He is a gambian fulani, I am a norwegian...norwegian.
The cultures are actually not too different in some ways, but in others again, veery different.
Our biggest challenge has been the language. He speaks street-english, cause he never went to school, and I speak school-english. It has been some big misunderstandings;; our biggest fights have been because of just misunderstaning each other.

But it works. Very good, actually. I never thought I would fall inn love with someone so different, but still so much like me.
I would, like someone else said, marry him over and over again.

And I might add: Some of his familymembers love me, others wish he did not marry a white woman.
In my family, its the same. Mostly because he is a muslim, and dont have papers in Norway, and therefor can not work here.
Been viewing you & hussie's pics and they're cute. Wish you the best of married life

That substitute player no 2 (Edoho) is a tool. She commited a needless foul that led to Brazil scoring the equalizer. The coach shouldn't have removed Njoku.

Now we've got work to do against Italy

VillageBoi: Total bada$$ film. The action is relentless & awesome... they are making the part 2 next year and Hollywood has already copied this one with the Writer/Director onboard as an Executive Producer.
Skipped downloading it sometime back cos it was Indonesian and I didn't think it was all that but with your comment I'm gonna download it ASAP

maclatunji: If it is true that the minister made these comments,Heshould be sacked. He should be fired because he wants to coerce success (which is not pratical} instead of planning and implementing a programme that will lead to it.
Planning and implementing a programme for that purpose is still not a guarantee that the Super Eagles will win it. . . . .

Sports › Nigeria Vs Korea: U-20 Women's World Cup (2 - 0) On Sunday August 19 by semid4lyfe(mod):
Nigeria, runners-up last time out, take on the team that finished just beneath them on the podium, Korea Republic, in what promises to be a fascinating clash of styles. The Africans will not be short on confidence having enjoyed a very impressive qualification campaign, in contrast to their east Asian opponents, who only secured their place when Japan were designated as hosts.

Players to watch
Korea Republic’s Yeo Minji. As winner of the adidas Golden Ball at the last FIFA U-17’s Women’s World Cup, the striker will be keen to pick up where she left off after finding the net no fewer than eight times at Trinidad and Tobago 2010.

Nigeria can call on the deadly two-pronged attack of Orji Ebere and Desire Oparanozie. Those familiar faces are joined by budding national team prospect Francisca Ordega as well as U-17 goal-scoring hero Ngozi Okobi.

The words
"Our opening game against South Korea will give us an indication of how far we can go, and it could also give us a real confidence boost. Make no mistake, I haven’t come to Japan to admire the skyscrapers; I’m here to win the World Cup," Francisca Ordega, Nigeria striker.

Match will be on Supersport 3 from 9.45am
