I don't understand the problem Nigerians have with going to hospitals and seeing a qualified doctor(specialist)

I think it is ok to seek advice online since there are doctors online. But ultimately, the best advice for a serious skin condition is a referral to a very good dermatologist, because in this country we cannot assume that every doctor is competent and sincere.

This is one of them; pornographic content on the 1st page. Nairaland is now littered with such unrestricted postings

So you are not saying that mods posted pornographic content, you are saying that someone posted pornographic spam on a front page thread and the mods were slow to remove it. Okay good. This is the image spam issue that seems to be the most pressing. This is the complaint that I will have to focus on for now.

I cannot solve all your complaints about Nairaland at once. At best, I can tackle issues one at a time after identifying which issues are most urgent, and even this requires the cooperation of my staff because there is not much that I can do by myself.

I don’t know why Nairalanders act as if all their complaints are one and the same when clearly, they are very different and require different solutions. It baffles me a lot. Someone says, “I am hungry”. Another says “me too, I haven’t had sex in 6 months”. A third person says “me too, my boss sacked me”. And they are all after me like, “why are you refusing to solve this problem?” “Nairaland is totally destroyed”, etc.

The most troubling thing mentioned so far are the image spammers. I thought we had handled them a few weeks ago after enabling a new moderating tool for the supermods. Did anyone notice the improvement? Did things get worse after getting better, or was there no noticeable improvement at any point?

And again that crap sites called famousnaija and naijafame, which I believe belong to one person and probably an influential person in your chicken cabinets . All what they do is go to other popular igs, tweeter and fbs , screenshots their contents and turn it to their and immediately I uploaded, you will see it in front page. I believe of you are not the owner of those sites, one of your mods have them it's so glaring seun. No content, just rubbish that will direct you to their sites and again from their sites to ig, or fb, or Twitter. Why can't we have those links directly here instead going to 3 subsequent links just to see the contents. Seun can say something about that.

Still waiting for links to the threads that people are complaining about. In my experience, it's better to deal with specifics.

Please post links to the home page threads that should not have made the home page. I will personally investigate them and figure out what needs to change.

Is Bianca in trouble? She should have closed out the game when she had the chance. Bianca leads 5 - 4, Serena is serving to stay in the match.

Andreescu has suddenly decided to extend the rallies and miss the serves. She is like a cat playing with her food. So ridiculous. She succeeded in dashing the game to Serena even though Serena no gree take am at first. The girl is so confident, it's ridiculous. She now leads 5 - 2, but she may regret not closing out the game.

Aided by the net, Serena breaks Bianca back and it's now 2 - 1 in favor of Bianca with Serena to serve. Serena still has a chance to win.
