RomanceRe: Should We Leave Our Men If They Are Cheating? by Seun(mod): 8:22pm On Jan 18, 2007
Can a man commit adultery if another woman doesn't make her **** available? Women cheat as often as men.
It is in the nature of certain men to cheat, and those men are always surrounded by gullible women because they tend to be very charming. Before you fall for a great player, ask yourself how he became so good at toasting.

FamilyRe: Do Wives Deserve A Slap Or Two To Caution Them? by Seun(mod): 9:51am On Jan 18, 2007
If any man slaps me, i'll hire those massive guys that work as bouncers in clubs to give him a taste of his own medicine.

after they slap him back for me, he'll learn to try talking through problems.
You think that after suffering such disgrace you'll be able to live with him in the same house without any trouble?
Heh, I guess you just don't understand men. The only thing you can do is to dissolve the stupid relationship.

TV/MoviesRe: My Movie Writer/Director Journey by Seun(mod): 9:38am On Jan 18, 2007
I've been moving in circles with this my dream, not making any progress, because of 3 conflicting goals:
1) To make a great movie that even Hollywood fans who don't like Nigerian movies will be able to enjoy.
2) To spend little money on making the movie so that investors won't be needed at any point.
3) And I want to make money directly from the people watching my movies rather than advertisers.

These 3 goals are in conflict, so I keep going around in circles trying to decide what to do with myself. Sad! sad

Meanwhile, I Need An Adjustable Light Stand!

Christianity EtcRe: If You Were God For 7 Days, What Would You Do? by Seun(mod): 12:39am On Jan 18, 2007

I'll tell you what is worth dying for. Nothing! Embrace your life while you still have it. Don't die for anybody.

Not unless they don't want to have children naturally. See this post about the issue.

About the difference between "true love" and compatibility/understanding/appreciation? There's absolutely none!

CrimeRe: Is It Legal In Nigeria To Beat Your Wife? by Seun(mod): 8:31am On Jan 17, 2007
If only women were not too foolish and too passive to enforce their rights, things will be better.
Until then, woman abuse will continue. You will be mistreated and your daughters in future generations too.
All the laws in the world wil not help a woman who thinks her husband has the right to beat her.
That's why spousal abuse is as common in countries like the US that have more specific laws against this.
If you don't have a sense of dignity, you'll be beaten like the worthless sack that you are in your mind.

Nonsense. How can the women of Nigeria be more tolerant of spousal abuse than men? Mumus all of you!
FamilyRe: Child Abuse And Street Hawking In Nigeria. by Seun(mod): 8:26am On Jan 17, 2007
Street hawkers deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation. Afterall they are working hard to make a living. How would you like it if someone talked about your job as if it's a job that no one deserves to have?

Child abuse is one thing; street hawking is another. Our forefathers helped their parents in the farm. Child abuse is not the same thing as helping your parent to feed your junior ones. One is a crime, the other is life.

Child abuse and street hawking are two different things. Do not mix them up out of ignorance and sentiments.
TV/MoviesRe: Do You Know Who Chiwetel Ejiofor Is? by Seun(mod): 8:14am On Jan 17, 2007
He was the newlywed husband in "Love, Actually" and he's quite Nigerian as I heard.

Here's a picture of Chiwetel Ejiofor and Denzel Washington in the 'Inside Man' Movie.

A few decades ago, people in this country "knew" the reason why sicklers tend to die young: they are ogbanjes!!

About Tunde Kelani's film, it just reminds us that films are good at making people believe ridiculous things.

Christianity EtcRe: Can A Christian Kill In Some Circumstances? by Seun(mod): 9:27pm On Jan 16, 2007
Animals have 'souls' too, if by 'soul' you mean self-consciousness. That doesn't make them human.
