Women are brought up to support the ideas of the men in their lives instead of having their own ideas (that way when things go wrong they are never at fault, or else why is miriam Abacha still walking free today?) Women who are brought up that way would naturally fit into the role of Secretary or Personal Assistant. Besides, if you are a man and you are to hire a secretary, won't you prefer to hire an attractive lady? |
Which tribe is your father's family from? Please don't just say "Africa"; let's be more specific. |
Where did you get the nectar card? Why not ask the person who gave it to you? ![]() |
You can buy the t-shirts at www.cafepress.com/streetnaira Perhaps a shirt with Snazzy's picture (taken with permission) will sell faster? |
Nairaland is only the most popular forum, not website. Nigeriaworld is bigger. ![]() |
I want to agree with you. We lost our best member - her husband simply told her to stop participating. |
Thanks for sharing and welcome to Nairaland. are you the owner of the site? |
The decision hasn't been made. but Zm4ever has proved herself to be unbannable. |
You people should ready for a Nairaland without rhodalyn or her evil twin. |
Mobile phone numbers are pretty safe to post in Nigeria. |
Let's forgive the evildoers right now! |
That's definitely an interesting question! |
This is a common practice in nigeria. I know about a hotel that pays purchasing agents when they convince the companies they work for to patronize them. They call it 'referral commission' or something like that. It's a manifestation of corruption, because a purchasing agent is supposed to represent the interests of the company. but it's also a common practice in our corrupt nation. If your uncle's boss finds out, he'll probably be fired. |
If you're such a good typist, you should probably look for a secretarial job somewhere? |
Hey, people. Don't be discouraged based on what i said. Support Dare! ![]() |
it's in the 'Forum Games" section. |
Are we still talking about soccer and jay jay Okocha? |
As a Christian, you probably pray and read your bible. As a human being, you sit down and create a goal for your life and start living it. |
"Master Yoda, send me to kill the Emperor. I cannot kill Anakin. He is like a brother to me, i cannot do it! - Star Wars. "You need someone older and wiser telling you what to do. I am 17 going on 18, I'll take care of you!" - Sound of Music. |
i love your blog. Looking forward to your participation on the forum. I'm reading your posts on Transcorp already. cheers! |
People take relationships too seriously. I mean, if you're neither married nor engaged to your boyfriend then the relationship can end anytime. So no need to condemn disney's desire for a "better model". No further comments. |
Gulder Ultimate Search was much more entertaining. Plus, it's available to those without DSTV. |
If the woman of my dreams is incapable of bearing children, that would not hinder the marriage. I guess that means I choose option 1. This is the 21st century for goodness' sake! You can always get a surrogate mother or sperm donor if your life partner is incapable, or adopt. Everyone should choose option 1. |
In my candid opinion, Dare Art Alalade is not fit to be a professional musician. I mean, his music sucks. His album is not going to sell; there are no hits in there. As a musician, he lacks talent and he also lacks creativity. ![]() On the other hand, he would make a very good TV Show Presenter or something. He has connections in Nollywood - all the actors were there at the launching of his album, he has charisma, he has a love for showbiz. He has what it takes to make it in the entertainment industry but not as a musician. Somebody tell him! |
Why don't you start your own thread to discuss the issue instead of insulting others? |
You can get it at the Ikeja Computer Village. |
Thanks for sharing. |
anything is better than death. wwyd if you were made the president of Nigeria for a day? |
sorry, he doesn´t like girls very much-----what a shameThat is a shame. Too bad, too bad. But his act is really tight, cool. |
Pat Utomi is not just an 'intellectual' but he's a businessman. a businessman will always perform wherever you put him. bami's argument only applies to mere intellectuals like professor Wole Soyinka. |
