Christianity EtcRe: Any Non-Religious People In Nigeria? by Seun(mod): 10:45am On Feb 22, 2006
Don't you think it's bad to make a firm decision on a serious issue and then run away from all evidence to the contrary? Imagine a judge that says "I think the client is guilty" and then goes ahead to support his "faith" by simply refusing to entertain any evidence to the contrary, no matter how solid. Would you like to be tried by such a judge? Don't you think such a judge is rather silly?

What you're doing on this thread is inspiring. Keep it up! Unfortunately, my own challenge is more along the lines of weight and muscle gain! wink
PoliticsRe: Anti-muslim Riot In Nigeria by Seun(mod): 10:28am On Feb 22, 2006
You should be ashamed of what the murderous "Christian" counterparts of the murderous "Muslims" in Maiduguri have done. Murderers who use religion as an excuse should not be found mingling with people freely.
RomanceRe: Why Do I Keep Comparing My Girlfriend To Other Girls? by Seun(mod): 10:05am On Feb 22, 2006
Maybe you don't love her that much. That's why you are still noticing other babes. When the love is clouding your mind you will not be thinking of how she compares to other babes. When you're in it for the sake of being in a relationship at all costs, then you'll be thinking about how to get a "better model".

So you are obviously not in love, but does it matter that much for a successful long-term relationship? huh

There is nothing intelectual about murder. It is simply a crime.
CrimeRe: Igbo Man Retaliates And Kill 15 Muslims In Anambra by Seun(mod): 9:58am On Feb 22, 2006
Why would I want to perpetrate the evil that was visited on innocent Yorubas/Igbos on innocent Hausas? You people are so murderous it makes me want to cry. In a country where everyone is a murderer at heart how can there be peace? I think I'm gonna have to travel out of this rubbish country afterall to enjoy a good life. cry

PoliticsRe: President Of The Christian Association Of Nigeria Reacts by Seun(mod): 2:35am On Feb 22, 2006
What about the people that were killed. Will you like to be killed because of what someone from your tribe did in a different state? Will you like to have your children killed? Do you think it is right to kill people. If yes, then how can you even clal yourself a christian?

Also, don't you think when you kill hausas in Onitsha it will only cause more killing to take place in the north as reprissals. Afterall you know that the criminal elements in the north are willing to kill hundreds and thousands if they have their way instead of "just" 50. Violence is not the way at all. Two wrongs do not make a right and if you are here to encourage peace-loving people to embrace vioence I suggest you log out right now.
PoliticsRe: President Of The Christian Association Of Nigeria Reacts by Seun(mod): 2:24am On Feb 22, 2006
Fine. Why don't you go to Maiduguri to fight the "muslims" that killed the "Christians"? Why are you killing the ones in Onitsha that have nothing to do with the killings in Maiduguri? Why not go to the home of the murderers instead of resorting to cold-blooded murder that can only cause the crisis to escalate?

Sometimes, violence is your only weapon. You'll learn that soon enough as you go through life.
Those who live by such nonsensical principles can usually be found on death row in civilized countries. In Nigeria, they roam the streets.
CrimeRe: Igbo Man Retaliates And Kill 15 Muslims In Anambra by Seun(mod): 2:22am On Feb 22, 2006
It's not retaliation. The "muslims" who killed Christians are roaming the street while hausas in the South have been killed for nothing.

I want the "Muslims" who killed "Christians" in the north to be arrested.

I want the "Christians" who killed "Muslims" in Onitsha to be arrested.

The murderous "muslims" in the north do not give a dan about what happens to their "brethren" in the South. They will only use such violence as an excuse to slaughter hundreds of people instead of "just' 45.

People are stupid. angry

Conservative muslims will pay a heavy price for the barbaric acts of their radical brothers if they don't come out to denounce the murders being commited in the name of God. Failure to condemn means you are capable of the same wickedness.

"Christians" were killed in the north but not in the South.

"Muslims" were killed in the South but not in the North.

If you still don't get it, then I rest my case. However, the criminals who killed "Christians" (Igbos) in the north and the criminals who killed "Muslims" (Hausas) in the South must be brought to justice. Only when they are brought to justice will our people learn that violence is not a viable alternative in the quest for equity and prosperity.

When people are dying the importance of church buildings pale in comparison. Let's not talk about buildings until the murderers of people in this last fracas are brought to justice. It's not right.

RomanceRe: What Can My Friend Do To Please His Girlfriend? by Seun(mod): 9:49pm On Feb 21, 2006
Here is what he can do:

"she said the guy is not romantic" -> it means he needs to write her poems and tell her "I love you" often.
"he does not take her out" -> obviously he needs to take her out.
"he does not gives her gift -> obviously he needs to give her gifts!
"he needs to spend more time with her" -> obviously he needs to spend more time with her!

The girl has already given him free answers to these questions. He just has to swing into action!
PoliticsRe: President Of The Christian Association Of Nigeria Reacts by Seun(mod): 9:45pm On Feb 21, 2006
Look, this nonsense that is currently happening in Nigeria is a Hausa vs. Igbo issue. The cartoon issue is just an excuse. Last time it was Miss World issue. As long as these handful of hoodlums ("muslims" or "Christians"wink are roaming the streats instead of being stowed safely away in prisons where they belong, they will keep finding excuses to kill "Christians" (aka Igbos) and burn churches (which, honestly, I don't give a damn about).

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria On The Verge Of Civil War? by Seun(mod): 9:18pm On Feb 21, 2006
I think some people are trying to break up the country by inciting various acts of violence. However, the vast majority of Nigerians are peace loving and too intelligent to think that a full-scale war will solve their problems. Sometimes people's emotions get the best of them and we lose lives here and there but there are no leaders cunning enough to convince us that they have our best interests at heart in leading us into war.

I want to believe that Nigerians are too smart for that. We have seen how other African countries have failed to benefit from war. Who's going to do the peacekeeping if Nigeria goes into war? We can't avoid loss of lives on a minor scale when many people who should be in prison are roaming the streets and helping governors to win elections, but full-scale war is out of the question.
