Romance › Re: Help, My Relationship Is About To Crash Because Of Hatred. by sexy74(m): 5:15pm On Apr 30, 2018 |
Flazer101: My name is Obinna. So I decided to write this down because I need advice..... There was this girl I love so much, one thing leads to another, we started dating. We are both in school. I was totally inlove with this girl and so is the girl with me. Then suddenly she started avoiding me, as a man, I knew something is wrong, so I approached her, asking her questions. She opened up that she is avoiding me because of one reason, she said that her family hates some particular states (Delta, Imo and most esp Enugu) , I was surprised, first time am hearing such.. Enugu of all people.. wtf She said yes that her cousin once got married to an Enugu guy and her uncle refused to turn up to his daughter wedding just because the guy is from Enugu. She told me that one of her elder sister is facing being disown by their parents just because she is discussing marriage with an Enugu guy. By the way, this girl is an Anambra girl and am from Enugu. I was dumfounded, so this kind of old stigimatization or whatever still exist in this generation. I inquired if there is any reason behind their family having such hatred against a particular state but she said no. I tried to make her understand but she believes so much in family first, even her brothers still have the same hatred incured in them.. Like she use to tell me that her brothers use to tell her never to date any guy from those three states. The only person insupport is only her elder sister which is dating a guy outside Anambra state. Now am emotionally devasted, and so is she,we both love oursleves but she is not feeling secured with me any longer She said we can still be 'normal' friends but I cant. I really can't. Pls anybody in the house, I need advice on what to do, I love this girl and I do picture my future with her, but with this new development, I dont even know what to do. My brother, she is just been polite to give you a dumb reason why you can't date her. kindly as her what's the reasons of the hatred of people from the aforementioned places . Sincere she might be getting a better Zap some where or she has seen someone that makes her head spin . My advice run for your life, see her as a friend and if she give you sex Zap am well well. |

Romance › Re: Is It Possible For Someone To Love Two Persons At The Same Time??? by sexy74(m): 6:52am On Apr 25, 2018 |
chenzen: Real love has many qualities. Love does contain the magical element of physical attraction. But it is a lot more than this. Love has its roots in friendship. In true love, you love the total person. You enjoy being with that person and sharing things with them. Real love is unselfish. It will sacrifice for the one it loves. And it carries with it the vital quality of commitment. It doesn't give up or quit when problems come along. Real love will bring out the best in you. You want the one you love to be proud of you. If you are just infatuated with someone, you may "laze" around and daydream, but if your love is real, you apply" yourself to your work, you make plans, and you prepare for the future.
Now is it possible to feel "Real love" for two persons My brother yes you can, attributes differs in oeople and it is difficult to have someone that has all the attributes you need in someone . You don't know how loving or bad someone is until you get very close to the person. There are people you like being with, there presence gives you pure bliss, you might thing you don't love the person but it's actually love. |

steph2sweet: Pls matured minds in the house, i need an advice. I just got the shock of my life today. I got to know that the man I am planning to spend the rest of my life with has a child out of wedlock. I heard this from someone close to his family and I confronted him about it. He said he is afraid to loose me, that was why he didn't tell me about it. That he doesn't have anything to do with the lady that gave birth to the child for him, and that the lady is already married. I am just short of words. Did you ask him this when you started dating and he denied it, or you just found out confronted him and he agreed. if that latter is the case he is sincere but if the former then run for cover. You don't give answer to questions you are not asked. What you do know is to look how sincere he has been to you all this while and the kind of person he is, if he has been good, reasonable and what you want to ahead and build. Don't lose the opportunity because it might never come. |
Romance › Re: Help Help Facebook Is Ruining My Relationship by sexy74(m): 7:30am On Apr 18, 2018 |
LIFEisSIMPLE: Please nairalanders, i need help.
2 months ago, i used my money to buy my girlfriend an internet phone and she quickly signed up for facebook. At first i was happy because she was happy, now i think i made the dumbest mistake in the history of mankind. She has started connecting with a lot of her friends and classmates and always on the phone chatting smiling and laughing. Shockingly, I tried to look through her phone last night only to realised that the phone is now passworded.
I have been observing alot of changes, and recently when i try to call her at night her phone is busy getting lousy excuses. I have invested so much in this girl and i do not want stories that touch.
Please i need advice on how to handle this situation with maturity. Also is it okay if i collect back the phone as this internet phone has now become the source of all my worries and pain. My brother the story is already touching. Never forget the Makervelli principle" support the weaker power but never increase their strength. If she has a password to her phone there is nothing wrong in that it is hers, if you need it ask her politely if she does not give you, know there is something fishy. The next line of action is to gradually move on and look for someone else. See her as an investment gone bad and try to do better in the next investment. |
Romance › Re: What Will You Do In Such A Situation? Only Smart Advice Please. by sexy74(m): 6:45am On Apr 16, 2018*. Modified: 8:30am On Apr 16, 2018 |
peterveo: I'm about ending a beautiful relationship of over 36 months (3 years plus) for 3 reasons.
1. Unforgiveness: I cheated more than a year ago during NYSC, I begged for forgiveness with which she made my life miserable, I turned a new leave after learning from my mistake. She never allowed it go even after claiming she had forgiven because she always brought in that incident at the slightest provocation. A woman who will throw her self in the arms of another man because she wants to pay back for a mistake that has long supposedly been forgiven and forgotten is definitely more dangerous than a viper.
2. Lack of trust and respect: For the past 33 months I never had any reason to check on her text or scrutinize her phone, of course she checks mine regularly(well, I don't have a problem with that). The only time I checked her phone was disastrous. She even had to put her life on the line by traveling out of state to visit a man with the excuse "he cheated first and I wanted to pay him back and make him feel all I felt. Well, a woman who can go this far not even minding her own life hmmmm...
3. Outright denial: After attending her graduation she not only showed me through body language during the program that her mind isn't with me, but she didn't upload any of the pictures we took together afterwards, whereas others with colleagues and friends that mattered were upload with sweet captions. When confronted, her reasons for not uploading our pictures were "I don't flaunt relationships online and I always keep my relationship private". Well done ma. Personally I strongly think it's evident there's an interest she's protecting (definitely not mine) or she's not proud of me. Please he needs constructive advice on this issue. Can there possibly be a damage control? I'm just wondering. My brother i know it's difficult, but do you need a special spirit to tell you to move on. What i will advice is move on slowly and only have sex with her as it pleases both of you. |

ewa20buredi100: Hi, I need your advice or counsel on this issue that has been giving me sleepless night. I am sharing this on nairaland because i feel there are men and women of mature minds and who have lots of experiences on here from diverse walks of life who can be of help.
I have been unemployed for almost 10months now, though before now i worked as a Chemistry teacher for some years until tragedy struck early last year(lost a very vital person in my life). I had to quit the teaching job (because the incident happened at the time where the senior students were preparing for their WASSCE) and as the first born i had funeral rites to perform. After the burial things weren't too pleasant with me, so i had to re-locate from Lagos to Benin (to stay with an Uncle). My plan was that after everything i would go for any professional course or do one of these HSE courses to boost my chances of getting a job, but due to re-location and financial constraint i had to think of something else.
It happens that where i am currently staying in Benin; along Benin-Agbor road, close to NNPC depot before Benin-Agbor by-pass; has this influx of trailers and heavy duty trucks transporting goods and PMS/diesel/coaltar to and from other states. Hence the availability of lots of truck's spare-parts markets in the area as well truck mechanics with shops everywhere dealing in repairs of different types of truck (Scania, MACK, M.A.N diesel, etc).
Being that i have been idle for a while now, a thought just came to me that instead of staying idle why not apply to be a Diesel Injector engine mechanic apprentice.
I want to know if that thought is worth giving a try and what are the things that may likely happen being that i did not read an engineering course from the University and what may become of my life. I am 28years of age.
Please help a brother by pushing it to front page mod. 1forall Brother if you love it go for the mechanic apprentice education is just a plus. All you have to do is be dedicated and bring innovations to make it better you will Excell |

One day Wole enters his room and finds a conventionally attractive woman in her early twenties unclad in a sexual pose gesturing him to come over and have her body to himself. Wole doesn't have an erection upon seeing her and he orders her to leave his room. She is surprised. That same evening Wole masturbates to a picture of a female. What is Wole? If we analyze your riddle line by line Wole is a lesbian if only attracted to a female. Ring a conventionally attractive woman , means the woman on her bed is not actually a woman but an imposter. He doesn’t have an erection because she is a lesbian that is wole. Masturbating with the picture of a woman proves she is a lesbian but can’t find a real woman |

I don't know what do now ,that's why I think I need advice from you guys,.I don't know if I should go ahead with the marriage without my mom's endorsement/blessings.

nairavsdollars: Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture has said despite the challenges faced Muhammadu Buhari-led administration since coming to office in May 2015, the government has not retrenched a single worker.
Speaking in an interview in Lagos, the Minister also said it released the names off alleged looters in the country not because it is in a panic mode but because the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) challenged it to do so.
“We were challenged to do so. Don’t forget that on their own, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said that they apologised to Nigerians for the way they ran Nigeria aground and we said, yes apology is accepted, but please return the funds. I think one of them challenged us to name those who had stolen money”.
“I think gradually it is becoming fashionable when you remind PDP that they brought us to this sorry path, they will say stop talking about what we did, please continue with your own. But we cannot move. It is important that Nigerians remember how we got here and the same people who have made no atonement say that they want to come back to power in 2019”.
“So, it is important for us to remind them. Let me tell you, this government is not in any panic mood. We are so proud of our achievements that in less than three years I can stand up and say this is what we have achieved in the area of security; this is what we have achieved in the economy, in the area of ease of doing business”.
“There is no area we have not made our mark. We lifted Nigeria from number 165 in the ease of doing business to 145. It is not a mean feat! And we exited recession at a time when the price of crude was low; we were in recession when we implemented the diversification of the economy”.
“ It is on record that despite all these challenges we have not retrenched one person. So, why should we be afraid? Why should we panic? I don’t see any reason why we should panic; I think it is the imagination of people that the government is panicky. No!” he said.

Reelectbuhari: Dr. Bala Muhammad of the Faculty of Communication, Bayero University Kano, has accused Igbo drug merchants of supplying codeine syrups to the north. The lecturer made the allegation while presenting a paper at the Kano Youth Summit on Peace Advocacy and Development organised by Hamisu Magaji Foundation, at Mambayya House yesterday.
In the paper he entitled: “Nexus Between Youth, Drugs, Crime and Insecurity”, Muhammad blamed the Igbo drug dealers for the prevalence of drug abuse in the northern region, especially Kano state. He wondered why drug abuse was not prevalent in the South-East region. Muhammad said the Igbo people supply cough syrup that contains codeine for the consumption of the Northern youth. According to him, “Our investigation revealed that drug abuse is beyond normal marijuana, cocaine, alcohol, etc. It has moved to the extent that the medicines we take in order to cure our diseases are now being converted into hard drugs. “We then discovered that it is the handiwork of the Igbo people, who connive with our local people here, to supply the codeine into our region, especially into Kano state. “There are many instances where Igbo guys were arrested for supplying codeine into Kano and some parts of the North. The cases have been reported in national dailies. “So, why shouldn’t they take it to their region? Why don’t their youth engage in drug abuse? This is really sad, and we have to rise up to fight this menace.”

Health › Re: Drug Abuse: ''ban Codeine Syrup Now'' Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal Urges FG by sexy74(m): 9:45am On Mar 21, 2018 |
banning the drug does not make any difference the only thing that will be done it makes it more expensive and people will want to see it as a status quo thing. my suggestion is to educate your people more the on the harmful effects of drug abuse. Since they can't take alcohol because of religion beliefs and if they take marijuana they are arrested because it's not legal so they do what is legal to get high which is taking codeine and tramadol which is neither against their religion or the law f the land. |
