The question is : Are these arraigned students the ones who ACTUALLY STONED the Governor? We know how things work in Nigeria, don't we? There are many people languishing in our jails who know nothing about what they are serving sentences for! Something happens and the police just go and round up some innocent people and before they know it, they are in court with trumped up charges brought against them! And when the police go assaulting innocent students/citizens, who gets punished for it? Unknown police officer, abi!  angry  angry.

Why are you ashamed/afraid to tell us who your 'God' is? Don't you have that much faith/confidence in him? Or you don't have one? Is he Almighty Jehovah or one of the other 'pretend gods'? Everybody is coming out the closet these days so please come out with it, sir!

You are welcome to substitute 'God' for 'Lord' in the psalms I quoted in the previous posts!
PoliticsRe: The Case Of The Pregnant Prisoner by seyibrown(f): 11:44am On Aug 26, 2010
There are so many innocent people in Nigerian jails courtesy of our corrupt and inefficient police, judicial system and citizens who oppress other citizens just because they have money or connections! It is disheartening! I hope more people will rise in support of getting justice for the oppressed!

. . . . . . and Psalm 118 vs 5, 6, and 17

5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD

Rhino3.dm, while you are still deciding who your 'God' is and the best way to introduce him to us, I'd like to share this testimony with you. It's in the form of Psalms 116 and 103.

Psalm 116
1I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

19In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

Psalm 103
1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Rhino3.dm, Let me help you get put of the corner you are in. Answer my previous post quoted below and I'll answer your questions. You won't need to openly admit to your not being able to come up with an invention of man made from anything not made by Almighty Jehovah. If you intend to discredit my faith, you should at least be able to provide an alternative if and when you finally manage to convince me my faith is misplaced, abi!
Who is this 'God Almighty' that you believe in? How did you hear about him? How do you worship him? Introduce this your 'God' to us because I don't think I have heard of him and given the way you bash any posts related to Jehovah and Xtianity, It doesn't seem like your God is related to my faith at all! Please answer these questions so I can know where exactly you are coming from because all your 'xtianity bashing' posts make it very confusing as to whether you are for Jehovah or for the devil!
I will continue answering your questions when you tell me where you are coming from. I hope you are not ashamed to share information about your 'Almighty God' with me! Let's entertain and enlighten the house!

FamilyRe: Marriage: Is It About Making Babies Or About The Couples? by seyibrown(f): 10:02am On Aug 25, 2010
In marriage, It is love and companionship first, the marriage vows explain that clearly. Children, if they come, will get to enjoy part of that love and dedication that is already established in the union. If the children don't come, the love and dedication will still hold the union. Any marriage that breaks up because of childnessness never started off on the right foot. The marriage should already be cemented before the children come at all! We see the consquences of partners not honoring their vows and looking for children outside their marriages; broken trusts, broken homes and broken lives!

Marriage is for loving and cherishing, excluding all others 'till death do the couple apart'; not till childlessness or family/societal pressures to have children do them part'.

miss toch
I certainly was lucky to find a man that fitted my needs as a woman.
In a home it is important to respect the man, that rubs off on the kids as well. I can do anything that is not detrimental to my family, one I clear it with my husband. The same law applies to my kids. My husband too takes us into consideration when making his plans.Thats how it runs here. Serious issues are discussed by us privately and we call in the kids and confront them with one voice. For this purpose we have our regular meetings, where issues are discussed and everyone even the kids can voice themselves. The last meeting was a real argument because the kids wanted an increase in pocket money. While my husband was against it the kids with me on their side got the "bill"passed.
I do not think that the ills in our society are caused only by women, bring up the appropriate topic and you will see my views.
MY husband helps in the housework and so do my kids. He also cooks sometimes and helps with the kids.
However I thank him for his help and I do not see it as his obligation. He does it to relive me of the burden.
Besides I have grown kids now that can do about everything in the house because I trained them that way. So that is no longer an issue here.
Pursue your dreams and your career, but when you have kids you need to have time for them.
Which means working less hours when the kids are younger. Even now they are older i still need allot of tie with them for their homework and other activities.
It's great things her going on fine for you at home. Looks like your husband respects you as much as you respect him. Some of your posts however advocate a picture different from what you've got going for you. Your posts (not just on this thread) have always seemed to say that successful nigerian women only made it through prostitution and that they should stay at home instead!

MOBO444:
We keep asking this question when will the heartless Nigeria women give us peace, when will this our shameless black sister wake up and change from their evil and shameless life (imagine what will make a professor kill his Black Nigeria wife in America), if a Nigeria professor can do it then what will the common Nigeria man in the street do to his black wife.
 I still insist throw all Nigeria ladies into the gutter and that is were they belong for good, please look at the link and source below for more info.

I blame the professor (64 years old) that married a 37 years old  black witch, this is a wakeup call to all my Black brother, we must give all Nigeria ladies  and all black ladies the world over big chance (here in England we don’t talk to them).

 They are trying to make all black brother miserable and frustrated, we must act now to redeemed everything and ourselves from this evil black sister, even in far away America they can still do this (black woman will never be satisfied with any man white, black, green, blue, or blue black).

Women do not build a nation from the kitchen!

@MOBO444
I am happily married to a man who believes in me and my dreams. My dreams definitely do not include being relegated to the kitchen while all the helpless young women are being repeatedly despoiled by MEN (not aliens) in the course of their striving to make their lives better and while the future of our young men are being stolen by greedy and corrupt MEN (yes, men) in the name of governance. I will give everything I have to see the future of our youth restored!

Now, if that is your definition of an 'Evil Nigerian Woman', I wanna be the biggest baddest of them all!

I hope we will one day find out the truth about why MOBO really hates women! In the meantime, I pity any woman is so unlucky to become his wife! You need to see what this guy writes about black women!  angry  angry. And he even dare says women are the reason why Nigeria is in this state? No, the leaders who have brought Nigeria to this lamentable state are all male (and probably all related to MOBO444 )! Oops! He probably lacks the intelligence to figure that out . . . . . . . and guess what . . . . . a black female has pointed it out to you!

@mutter
Should women stop going to university because there is a lot of prostitution going on there? It's the men who will not keep their marriage vows but choose to take advantage of needy girls that should be ashamed.

@MOBO444
Please stop being a 'pain in the backside' and a 'waste of space'. When you have your female children, don't send them to school, just keep them at home till they are twelve years old and marry them off to a man of like mind as yourself (you should try to beat Yerima's record).

I am happy to give you a chance to try prove this gospel otherwise and present your alternative which I expect should match or surpass the promises available through the cross.
