Anambrapikin:Shut your trap. Hypocrite. Why are you supporting Atiku if not because he picked an Igbo VP and promised to hand over to Igbos. If he had picked a Yoruba man as VP, will you guys be shouting atikulated all over the place? Accusing others of the same thing you're a guilty of. That's the definition of hypocrisy. |
See them making noise here and making a mockery of Buhari. When Buhari eventually gets a second term, they'll be the first to draw up a long list of positions they want him to fill up with their sons and daughters and when he doesn't dance to their tune, they call him all sorts of names and that they are being marginalized. |
winterfell007:Even if he gives them heaven, they hate him even before he became President and that won't change overnight. GEJ marginalized Yorubas, called Yoruba leaders like OBJ and Tinubu all sorts of derogatory names like rascals, motor park touts but Yorubas didn't go crying all over the place about marginalization inspite of the massive support they gave GEJ in 2010 when Yar'Adua's wife and the cabal wanted to perpetuate themselves in power after his death, and also in the 2011 election. Yorubas waited till 2015 to speak with their votes to send him out. GEJ realised his mistake late by those deceiving him earlier about downgrading Yorubas when he virtually made the SW his home few days to the election, sharing money to different people. Here, you're talking about an ethnic group that hates him so much so that he could barely get 5% of their votes and you want him to be a "father" to them despite them showing by their actions and words that they hate him. |
LieDetector:You're a born liar. Show me a link where Osinbajo declared over N2bn..You think everyone here is unlettered and will just swallow the gibberish figures you spill out of your anus. |
SOFTDRINK:So you'll put an end to your career and quit your job and become jobless just because some people believe you'll manipulate election results for a candidate who had not even dreamt of becoming President when you joined the commission? The way some of you reason is just pathetic. |
yvelchstores:Did he make small Kwara become a paradise with his "intellectual prowess" as he was governor there for 8 years? Absolutely not. And you feel he is what Nigeria needs. Quite funny. |
Hollusilva28:And the CJN Onnoghen didn't misuse his own power? How can the head of the Judiciary of the country feign ignorance of the law by refusing to declare all of his accounts and still went ahead to indefinitely postpone the NJC meeting where his case would have been determined and possibly recommend that he be ousted, remaining sit-tight instead of resigning honourably. What abuse of power can be more than this? Saraki, the head of the legislature has been abusing his power by turning the Senate into his personal estate where he shuts down opposition voices and his boys like Melaye do whatever they like, Onnoghen is doing same with the Judiciary and you expect Buhari, the head of the government to stand aside and applaud them, isn't that. He has to show he can use his powers too. Two or three can play the game. |
Nutase:Which 18 months programme does one do to convert from MCB to MedLab and is it BSc Medlab such a person will be given afterwards? |
PaChukwudi44:Whenever any corruption case of any PDP bigwig is brought forward, you're always the first on this forum to defend them with so much gusto without caring whether they're guilty or not. I hope you're compensated well. |
overall90:Stop lying to yourself that Igbos are supporting Atiku because they want to see Nigeria working again. If truly that's what they want, why were most of them threatening not to vote for Atiku if he picks a Yoruba VP instead of an Igbo VP. Shouldn't they be concerned about the pedigree and track record of whoever the VP candidate is and not his/her tribe? Simple truth is they're supporting him because his VP candidate is Igbo. Any other thing is a lie. |
Both Atiku and Buhari are useless and are taken Nigerians for a ride. Imagine the level of disrespect, that they can't come for a debate and convince us why we should make them lead this country, just because they rely on sharing our money about to buy votes and win election. This country is hopeless. |
writerights:Have you heard of things like TETFUND, NEEDS Assessment, Revitalization of public universities (State and Federal)? If you have and know their origin, impact and importance especially as it concerns state universities, you would not be displaying your ignorance here, with this kind of thread you created. |
antidote06:Lol, so you don't know that is a pic of a Nigerian actress, Yvonne Jegede. The person you quoted is surely a man. |
mybestlogs:Anointing oil I understand but that soap or sponge is a red flag.. What for? Just be careful. You could instead approach prophets in churches like CAC or MFM, and if after prophesying for you, they tell u anything beyond genuine repentance, prayers and fasting with some scriptures and psalms, then be very careful. |
Deemas:You don't know me. I don't envy pharmacists. I work in one of the places with these "high" salary scale..I'm just speaking generally about the inequality in this country. |
Valerie47:Are the FIRS the owner of this money. Aren't they just collecting taxes from organizations? It's not like they are operating a business and making money of their own to give the government. How does that qualify them to earn over double of what their peers in other agencies earn. This country is terrible. Imagine placing a fresh graduate of Pharmacy, a 5-year course on level 10 and someone with a Master degree in other disciplines on level 9 and the salary difference will be like half of the pharmacist. |
DonFreshmoney:Stop saying what you don't know so confidently. The fact that you don't even know a simple fact that Okpokwu is a local government area of its own and not under Ogbadibo LGA is enough to believe whatever you're claiming here with a pinch of salt. |
Lordbellish:I wont bash u cos I've been in your shoes but in my case, we weren't engaged officially but she'd introduced me to her mum and elder brother, but my main issue was this giving out numbers to different random guys and chats on whatsapp which I complained to her to stop, and she lies and hides stuffs from me until I discover myself, especially about her relationships with some of these guys. I just couldn't take it again for my sanity sake. But question for you, what did you tell her when she made that remark to her caller that u talking to her to come and eat was nothing and a minor distraction and what was her response? |
itsmeurLady:Like that's the height of it telling another man in my presence that I'm just a minor distraction. Such level of disrespect. |
Lordbellish:Let me get this clear. You're planning to go abroad later this year September and came back early next year January to marry this lady? Am I right? |
MariaLavina:Your first sentence is a pure lie, perhaps it's true for girls like you. No serious-minded guy will have contacts of ladies more on his than those of men. As business partners or what? lol.. Will those ladies contacts fetch money for him or what? Only players and guys that don't want they want have lots of female contacts on their phones except relatives, colleague and few other acquaintances. |
Imagine a News outfit publishing news based on the unverified tweet of a politician when it should be the other way round. How irresponsible of Vanguard. |
JixNation:A university just want to write 1st semester exams for 2017/2018 session in 2019. This is serious. |
Dvin:That was until Chinua Achebe wrote that his book "There was a country", opening old sores and died causing so much division and hate in the process followed by the Jonathan presidency and the attendant divisive politicking that followed the 2015 elections, and the final nail on the coffin was Nnamdi Kanu and his ipob calling Yorubas all sorts of names and further deepening the hate that had been brewing by these two preceeding events and fuelled by social media outfit, chief of which Nairaland is a culprit. That has been my observation. |
So this Teni is from Ekiti. So what's her connection with Ondo town in her last song, Uyo meyo, that she sang in that dialect fluently when she's not from there.. perhaps the mum though. |
Seems declaring for office you know you can't get and asking for gofundme is the new yahoo.. lol |
PMBtill2023:Stop making a fool of yourself. Much is expected from a "Master degree holder ". |
Trulie:It's mostly appealing to Yoruba Muslims though as you can see the Fuji musicians are mostly Yoruba Muslims themselves. Same way they see your Oliver De Coque as trash. One man's food is another man's poison. |
PMBtill2023:You call yourself a Master degree holder but can't even construct correct English sentences. Do you really know the meaning of yardstick? Am instead of I am. So much for a Master degree holder. You could hardly string up four lines without grammatical blunders. |
Pinnick is an idiot for allowing Moses manipulate him this way. Let him rot in Chelsea's bench. Nigeria is bigger than him. |
Randy100:Stop lying and misrepresenting what that lady said. She never said they were taught lesbianism and orgies in the convent. She used the words perhaps meaning it's a possibility that she got to find out the hypocrisy of what goes on "behind the scene" in the convent, which going by the different stories we hear and even Al Jazeera conducted a detailed investigation on this about the Catholic Church in India, we can't deny such possibility. You don't need to get charged up just because Catholic was mentioned here. Other churches you were quoting don't run a convent and when extreme things happen in those churches, we read about them on nairaland and I don't think you get this angry with people's comment at such news like you're doing now cos it's Catholic Church. We should stop living in denial. These things happen very well and denying it is just denying the obvious. This is not in anyway justifying what this nun did cos she wasn't really saved, otherwise she would know Christianity is a personal race and as such, you don't look up to any priest or bishop to work out your own salvation. |
