Topic says UI being in top 400 and the evidence is clear enough for you to see in his post. He only mentioned UNN as being the only other Nigerian University ranked for Medical sciences and they are top 600, which is what you quoted.

That's the nepotism he's talking about with the skewed system that favours the North. In developed countries, the top universities attract the highest funding but can you explain the rationale behind ABU getting more funded than the likes of UI and UNN when ABU is nowhere to be found in any of these global rankings.

It's ASUU that's on strike not the entire University community. This circular is from the OAU management and not from ASUU, OAU branch. I can tell you authoritatively that ASUU OAU branch decided unanimously to join the strike in their Congress of yesterday. The students will be in school but no lecturer will go and teach them and no academic activity will go on. Isn't that meaningless? The University management are just being unnecessarily stupid with this circular as they can't drag any lecturer to go to class and teach.

Even though you can see clearly he uploaded his BSc Certificate in Management from UNN which he got in 1989 when he was just 21 years old (having been born in 1968),you're still spreading the falsehood that he went to University at old age. He obtained obtained the Law degree as a second degree at "old age" (whatever that means) which is no crime.

@Kevind, I guess you're the one that came up with the ranking that placed ABU as the best university in the country. I challenge you to present any universally reputable ranking system like Times Higher Education, QS, Shanghai ranking etc that placed ABU as the best in the country. So because NNPC headed by a Northerner decided to give an award to the foremost Northern institution automatically makes it the best in the country? Here is a University that has been in existence for decades and is most funded in the country even ahead of better institutions like UI and UNN yet the research output to funding ratio is poor. Covenant of yesterday is currently ranked the best institution in the country by Times Higher. Don't ever come here to misinform people please.

What do you mean by at 24 a woman isn't psychologically and mentally ready for marriage. Ideally a woman at 24 should already be a graduate and possibly on her Masters if that's her priority. That's not the bone of contention. The bone of contention is he presented something higher than school cert (First degree in this case), during his ministerial screening, hence the nysc certificate must follow because it's mandatory once you have a degree and present it. If he had presented school cert only and not first degree also, no one can disqualify him.
