Thank you. Also, let us stay in our home states unless we have legit business in Lagos. We need to mount pressure on our state governors to deliver and make our states competitive. We can't all be japaing to Lagos, many with all their clothes inside one nylon bag, and later after making some money in Lagos start complaining a complaination that we failed to complainate in our home states. Shikena! Primusinterpares: This is not good. Dear lagosian. Please let's all put hands together and stop this habit of dropping trash in drainage. |

Best president ever! plaindealer: President Tinubu is always a long-game planner, he engineered this a long time ago when he spread out the red carpet in Abuja for the UAE ambassador and even threw in the honor guard, he knew exactly what he was doing..
This is the result of that wonderful thinking and long-game planning.
I truly admire and love this man, Nigeria indeed made the right decision. |

I don't know how you look but glad you corrected yourself that he only became an ambassador in 2021, regardless of the jokes that are actually not peculiar to him. He is a career diplomat. BoldBrainz: Do I look to you like the kinda fellow who's too vacuous to know the conceptual differences between career Diplomats and Ambassadors?
Apparently, you're the only one who's familiar with him but doesn't know that from the moment Mfawa Abam became the Head of Chancery, Embassy of Nigeria, Tel Aviv, Israel in 2003, he was practically considered the engine room of Nigeria's relations with Israel, in the corridors of Aso rock. The Ambassador in that case, only functioned as a figure head while enjoying the attendant privileges. It became the tradition for every other Nigerian Embassy he superitended in all other foreign countries, until he was subsequently named an Ambassador in December 2021.
As far as everyone in Aso rock is concerned, Mfawa has been playing Ambassadorial roles since 2003, and he himself has jocularly boasted about it on a few occasions in the past. So me even insinuating that he has been an Ambassador for 10years, is an understatement in all honesty. |
Politics › Re: FG Recalls all career & non-career Ambassadors, expect them in Abuja on Oct 31 by Shikena(m): 9:54pm On Sep 02, 2023 |
My people! 90 likes for what? The mentioned named, Mfawa Abam, is a career diplomat not a political appointee. He is actually the same foreign service batch as Kunle Adeleke, Tinubu's chief of protocol. He did not occupy any ambassadorial position for 10 years, so that's a big lie. This is just the comment of someone ignorant of the professional trajectory of career diplomats. The guy will go back to Abuja as all Nigerian diplomats do after few years at a foreign mission. This is an expected and known development that comes as no shock to any diplomat, especially with an exchange of baton at Aso Rock BoldBrainz: So that my stingy Uncle is finally going to leave that Ambassadorial position he has occupied for over 10years now. Him go come meet us for this Abuja!
Man has been representing Nigeria in different roles on the International scene from 1998 till date, but has failed to impact even in the slightest bit on the lives of his people. To even see him in person na problem. Fucker was exclusively the gateway to Patience Jonathan through out her stay in Aso rock. Very liked by GEJ and surprisingly favoured by Buhari as well. Back home in Cross River, na F9 be him nickname.
Ambassador Mfawa Abam, welcome back! We dey wait your return for Abuja!
Stingy and self-centered motherfucker! |
Romance › Re: Can A Man Earning 6k Daily Marry In Abuja? by Shikena(m): 1:46pm On Aug 31, 2023 |
First understand the most import thing about money: What makes a difference is not how much you earn, but how much you spend. That's why the jobless also get married & survive in poverty, finding & spending the barest minimum amount needed to stay alive.
Your spendings will increase with marriage. If you marry a reckless spender or someone who does not earn enough to adequately complement the household income then things will get tight & you will need to figure out additional source of income. |

Obey the law, follow due process before you start building, avoid shortcuts no matter what you are told. Do not willingly collude with one or two government officials then feign ignorance. Always verify.
Failing to spend a fraction of time and money for construction on land verification is the height of negligence. Hope others used to impunity are learning. |

That dirty habit of calling another person stingy on top of his own money is so dumb seuncyrus: The real problem is Nigerians and their silly entitlement mentality about someone else's income. How can you even call anyone stingy ffs. Any amount anyone gives you from their hard earned sweat is a gift, you're in no way entitled to how the person spends their money .
Do you know how many hours he puts in daily to make ends meet ? Do you know how much he pays for the tiny studio apartment he lives in ? Do you know how much bills he has to pay after tax ? Do you know how many people like you that sends him messages daily , and many he's even promised ?
There are too many silly Nigerians adults who are so entitled & self-centered and no different from their leaders. |

GodSaklek: @ sacajawea no one know much about buying job during military regime, the time of civilian rule gave birth to more different kinds of corruption and other criminal activities like paying for job, ritualist, kidnapping, yahoo, boko haram, extortation, baby factory, terrorism, bribery, forgery, scam and others,i could'nt land a ministry job in 2011 after my NYSC because i could'nt pay 4million requested. if european's type of ruling is'nt working,we should form our own system of government. Am in support of niger coup and also a supporter of Russia. Many people already know lots about job buying under the military. Most of the guys you see that joined NLNG, NNPC, CBN etc in the 90s got in there through that same method. Take that to the bank. |

WorkaholicB: This has been going on for a long time. That is why many qualified graduates from modest family are not gainfully employed. They just can't have the opportunity to contribute their intelligence to the society on a national level.
As a masters degree holder with experience in hospitality and other industry, if I manage to get job in a government agency related to my field of study, I believe that the agency will turn around within a short time. But how on earth will I get that kind of opportunity when I don't have a God-father or mother? Your cluelessness about reality showed clearly with the highlighted. Family › Re: Why Do People Do This After The Death Of Their Parents? by Shikena(m): 8:04pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
Let's not generalize. It is true some people are guilty of this but there are other cases too:
1. Parents who vigorously oppose any renovation while alive for various reasons best known to them. You know those disciplinarian retired teachers, and those that are scared of their own shadows thinking village people would kill their children.
2. Parents who were never responsible. They got their retirement packages but squandered it. They got money for home renovation, they squandered it. They violently rebuff any renovation attempt that does not have them as project manager in charge of funds & decisions.
Irresponsible youths will become irresponsible old men. Make amends now before it is too late. |
