OP I totally understand how you feel? I have been in that type of blood suckling relationship, the guy was crazy about me,told all my friends to stop calling me Uzo n call me her eminence,called me 100 times a day. It's tiring I tell you,everyone needs some me time. When I made up my mind to break up with him,my brother was scared for me, he said the boy could kill me and then commit sucide so both of us would die together and advised me to do it in an open place. Yes,it was that bad.
It was easier for me to walk away cos it was a bf/gf thing but marriage is not as easy to walk away from, talk to him about it and if he doesn't change,you guys should see a marriage counsellor.

One thing i want to make clear is that most of the people disputing the facts stated above are either close to bankers or they work in the bank yet they have never seen or read their staff handbook. Since no one has not told them the standard practice they assume the rules doesn't exist. This is why someone will get into trouble and get fired, maybe the bank will not be generous enough to tell them their offenses and later they will run to nairaland and cry foul that bank job is unsafe. If you work in a bank please take out time to read through your staff handbook. it will help you a lot.

Sometimes women have to work not because they want to but because they have to. Some are widows or single moms, some have sit -at-home husbands who still dont want to watch over the kids, some have working husbands who dont care for them. They must work for their children to eat.
Just go and chat with any female banker for eg with small kids and ask if they wish to resign and what is holding them. Ull be surprised at the answers

Great thread, Sukkot. U have answered one of the questions i have been searching for an answer to.
From the time when I became aware, I saw that in this world the level of development in a nation or group was directly linked to the amount of 'blackness' in that group.
I thought the issue was Africa, but then I realised the problem was everywhere there was blackness ; among the dark polynesians, arabians, indians and south americans, carribeans, and aborigines. Although some africans have stood out, yet it has bothered me why as a people we cannot collectively rise above the level where the world has placed us.
Isnt it strange that in africa you can command better treatment just by marrying another race. Its crazy, and so many times I have asked what went wrong.
I knew it couldnt be something physical, because blacks have a special beauty. To me lighter or whiter needs makeup to pop out but black is very detailed and interesting.
I read about the african noses of the sphinxes before they were chopped off. I read about stonehenge with figures having african features, I read about krishna and the black gods of india, and black buddha
And I asked severally WHAT WENT WRONG? WHAT DID WE DO? And here you are answering that question, and whether any other person believes this or not, I know that it is true.
My next question what can 'black/ african do to get out of this mess?
