The acronym BTW you see before statements doesn't mean BETWEEN, it means by-the-way. You mustn't use a cliche just because it is popular since you don't know the meaning nor usage.

Meanwhile, I gave my life to Christ a long time ago. He mismanaged it and I had to withdraw my life from him and manage it myself. Need I tell you that since then, my life has been awesome!

At least I don't justify the flogging of a girl because she had sex.

Was it made before they fell or after they fell? I guess before, that means God knew some angels would revolt even after he made them 'perfect'. I guess he also knows I will be heading there so no need trying to sound humane.

I know for sure there are great scientist already there so they must have figured out a way to design a heat transfer equipment to make the place inhabitable. Still better than being a zombie in heaven. Singing allellujah forever.

Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free...

That's the only portion of the Bible that has an absolute truth and sincerity.

Once I discovered this truth, I have been free from the bondage and fear that accompanies religion, Christianity in particular.

I got so angry when my devoted mum succumbed to cancer after putting up a fight for 4yrs. I was angry with God....hahahahahaha... Angry that he allowed such a painful death on his devoted daughter. Even if he wanted to take her home like those silly apologist tried consoling us with, did he have to let her go thru all those pains? All those sleeples nights?

Then I discovered the truth, I discovered that there's really no reason to be angry; that there's nothing special about Christianity, good and bad things happens to everybody irrespective of religion, believe and personal conviction. I realized my mum would have had better chance of survival if she was in a country with better medical facilities. I got a 'heavenly' peace since I discovered this truth, that no extra-terrestial being out there looks out for us. Nature takes its course. Although I must confess that this single event helped me muster the strength to question my belief, to ask questions and seek answers. I started probbing, stopped accepting silly excuses as explanation. When I couldn't find reasonable answers, I started using the internet; I must say that's how knowledge abounded.

Now I am at peace, I tackle challenges in life rather than pray for supernatural help. I accept the things I can't change and strive to change those I can. My life has been much more better and peaceful.

Once again, the truth does set one free.

One funny thing about Christianity is that all views has biblical backings: Trinitarians have backup Bible verses to support their stand: non Trinitarians also have valid backup verses from the same Bible.

So the best way to counter hardmirror's comment was to state other 4 cases where prayers were supposedly answered as against his own 1 scenario baa? Did your well painted scenario in any way nullify his assertion?

If only you knew how many times that phrase 'God works in a mysterious way' and 'the ways of god is different from the ways of man' has been over used ehn.

Meanwhile, b4 I forget, I'm sure you know the 'ask and ye shall receive' portion of the bible very well. Let me highlight this portion for you:

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Theres nothing mysterious in that claim up there: that verse/proclamation was made with all certainty.

vs 56 talked about his sisters.

Mark 6:3 Maintained the same names, except Judas which was turned to Juda, also talked about his numerous sisters.

You and I aren't any better or more prayerful than those that did find themselves in the situation, neither are you more righteous than those that had died in worse situations (Pst Bimbo, Myles Munroe - Airplane crash). It takes only a careless driver, a careless move, a mechanical mishap for an accident to occur. None of your prayers is going to do any sh!t, it has been useless in case you haven't really noticed.

So, bros, I don't say any prayers to remind any God of his supposed responsibility.

If my father is all-knowing and knows I will be involved in such a fatal accident, he will do everything In his powers to prevent me from going.

If my father is all powerful, he will prevent the accident from happening.

Why are you praying for an all-knowing, all-powerful and all-merciful God to heal her? If I were God, that would be an insult.
