God bless you OP... this is one of the best thread so far this year. I kinda love the responses.... looking up to that day. May God help me. |
In as much as I will not absolve the Old fool, Mr Deputy Governor, of the abuse, the teenage undergraduate must be st.upid to av allowed somebody of her father's age to sleep with her. Thats the effect of the greediness. Nobody should blame her predicament on hike of school fees or Fashola. |
Politicians are like prostitutes. They swing direction at every beckon, but then, i will not support the calls from some quarters that Ribadu should reject the offer neither will I join the pessimists that this is another jamboree. Lets all keep hope alive. Nigeria will bounce back to his feet!!! |
Got these somewhere and thought I should share it with the house. Libya & QADDAFI , FACTS THAT CANT BE DENIED 1. There is no electricity bill in Libya; electricity is free for all its citizens. 2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law. 3. Home considered a human right in Libya – Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent. 4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$ 50,000 ) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family. 5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%. 6. Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free. 7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US $2, 300/mth accommodation and car allowance. 8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price. 9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter. 10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally. 11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found. 12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens. 13. A mother who gave birth to a child receive US $5 ,000 14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15 15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree 16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country. I was surprised wen I stumbled on the above write-up. The question that came to my mind was that If someone could do all these to his countrymen, does he deserves to be rebelled against? But then, how true are they? Does he actually accomplished all these for his people? |
Foolishness at the highest level. Baba Kazeem no do well at all. He should av tested the charm with other members of the OPC. May his soul rot in hell. Useless human being. |
jennykadry:@ Jennykadry, Thought I was the only one that saw the statement. Not a good mother at all and if i was one of her children, i will disown her for the rest of my life. jennykadry: |
benin-man:At bolded, Majority of houses in Lagos were built in the eighties wen cement and other building materials were very cheap. So, most landlords dont av excuse for their exploitative nature. they are just way too greedy and self centered like our leaders. The law is good anyway, but my concern is how to enforce it. I know, it is not difficult to implement if there is political will to do it. I was discussing with somebody sometimes on this issue. i argued that the law wont work. He said, if government was willing to enforce it, that by the time 2 or 3 landlords were made scapegoat and sent to jail, that others will adjust, which i quickly accepted. Everything boils round the willingness of the government to enforce it, or else, it will remain like other laws that were passed without being implemented. |
@ All, Anybody that doubted Al-mustapha should get his/her brain examined. It was the bitter truth that some Yoruba Leaders collected money. If u had not forgotten, during General Diya's Saga, some prominent Yoruba Obas were called to Abuja to watch the video and they all said truthly, Diya plotted the coup. What am driving at is that Yorubas are the greatest enemies of themselves. With money, they can do anything, useless agbalagbas (elders) they are |
@ All, If we all agreed that he who killed by sword will surely died by such ie sword. If we were to relate this to Abiola's story, dont u think Abio0la himself reaped what he sowed? There was a lot of revelation then that Abiola was the single financier of many coups that claimed many lives in this country including that of his closest friend ----- General Muritala Mohhamed. I'm not justifying Abiola's death oooooo. But what goes around will surely comes around. The IBB and Obasanjo of this world will also reap what they sowed----watch out!!!! |
@OP, Good one. hope the effort will not be frustrated. Also, can we demand for how the allocation to power sector had bn disbursed and spent? |
maclatunji:@ Maclatunji, I want to believe u were joking right? If truly, Mr president posted that rubbish as achievement on his facebook page, then, he needs brain check!!! What has that brought to Nigerians? Roads are at their worst stage, power supply is in comatose, Education system is in shamble, N600.00/day for workers na wahala, So, why should we jump up? Maybe cos our legislathieves will av enough to steal, useless mofo!!! |
EzeUche:My thought exactly. May God console Mama himself. babaowo:And that justified her burying her daughter? U need ur brain examined. Tcrack:You should be taking to Yaba Apa Osi for proper sanity check My condolence goes to the entire Awolowo family. May God grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of one them MAY HER SOUL FIND REST IN THE BOSOM OF HER MAKER. |
OP Ask the next lady sitting to you ![]() |
Dagrin, chief executive omo ita. RIP |
wales:So being a military man is justification for foolishnes.s? Why did he lie on network service of national TV? In fact, that man should be punished for that attitude. md4real:Does it means EX CORP MEMBERS are not human being? Nigerians will never change. |
I don't have problem with Obasanjo. If he likes, he can promise his daughter hell. All I know is that posterity will not Forgive Him. And for the Old fools like Ayo Adebanjo and Fasoranti endorsing OGD and calling him Awoist, They shall know no peace in their lives. How can a reasonable human being compare OGD with Awolowo? Does it means old age is tantamount to stupidit.y? These Ayo Adebanjo and co should beg for forgiveness or else, ------ I reserve my comment. |
190:You like food no be small. Of all the orisirisi wey dey service, na only cow meat and chipinni money u remembered? What about all the opekes, the other freebies? ;Dl |
Mobinga:Yesssss. He ie Tsiga should be publicly executed for denying the obvious, yeye man. |
Na the work of God. If not, the two thiefs will not split. Glory be to Baba God. And for the winners, try as much as possible to effect positive changes in ur constituencies. This specially goes to ADEGBENGA KAKA, Sentor elect, representing Ogun east senatorial district, If u no do well, pls no come home oooooo. |
Painful that I missed the debate. No doubt about it, Fashola all the way. But my question/concern is that hope Fashola will not mess up this second time like other Governors did? Don't forget Daniel did some sort of goodies during his first term and messed up big time during the second term. I pray God will guide FAshola not to disappoint. |
Please tell your friend to move on. She claimed she had invested in the relationship, but that is not enough reason to stay in an abusive relationship. Tell her to move on. God will surely come to her aid and the right man for her will surely come at appropriate time. |
Please let her go for medical check-up and let me know the result b4 i can say anything. But for now, e be like say she dey cra.zy |
reindeer:True talk to some extent, but don't forget that banks are intermediaries btw the deficit and surplus side of the economy. They are in business to do what they know how to do best by collecting from surplus side of the economy and channel same to the deficit side of the economy for proper and speedy development. The problem is with our system back in Nigeria. Had it bn there is a death penalty for any corrupt public office holder, I tell u, nobody will dare steal from Government cover. But guess what? They are all corrupt!!! Kettle can not call pot black. They are all in the business of milking the nation dry. Even the holier than thou president GEJ is no different. Now that Ibori's lawyer got seven years imprisonment, how many years will the chief culprit get? |
Quote from Daddy G.O's Elder sister. She opined that all that we are seeing today was foretold. “He was going to meet our father one day in the farm, when an old man appeared to him on a lonely road and naturally, as a child he was very frightened, seeing a man appear from nowhere. The man told him that his stars were shining and that he was going to be great but he would encounter some challenges but God has conquered everything for him. “The man, according to Adejare, instructed him to tell his parents to kill a white cock for him and his mates. He thanked the old man, and when he turned to look at the man to get a proper description of the man, he was nowhere to be found. Adejare became more frightened and im-mediately ran to meet our father at the farm and narrated his experience to him. When the twosome got back home, they in-formed my mother, who immediately obeyed the instructions.” Pls, can somebody explain what the bolded part connotes? |
Happy birthday to u Sir. Wishing u many happy and glorious returns. |
If bluetooth believes Bode George was jailed for any other reason aside stealing, can u pls tell us why he was sentenced to kirikiri maximum prison so that we can know/learn that stealing is legalized in Naija? |
Somebody asked very important question. "if all these dignitaries came to welcome George from prison who then sent him to the prison"? Exactly my thought. If according to him that his imprisonment was politically motivated and all the power brokers in the political circle went to receive him from prison, who then sent him to prison? Or could this "cheers" be mere eyes service? |
kemisuga:@kemisuga Which one u dey practice? Never knew u were a cousin to one of my friends. How is work? |
nwabobo:@nwabobo, Are u high on something? Can't u reason, at least for once, like somebody that is mentally balanced? And who told u that all those pple u listed are Yoruba? Do ur research very well b4 exposing ur retarded brain to the entire world. Even Obama knows that all of them are not Yorubas, greatest mofo. ![]() oluwabamis:@oluwabamis, Why are u dignifying this mo.ron by telling him this? Leave him alone with his rubbish talk, |
Lets wait and see, happy though |
