22jumpstreet1:Who is olumba olumba. Is he amongst the thousands of gods. |
AntiChristian:There's no contradictions. Jesus is fully man and fully God and rightly described himself as such. I'm sure you been told million times but I understand. The day u accept is the day u leave Islam. So continue ignorance of compulsion. |
AntiChristian:Mr Man, the vision of Stephen is called anthropomorphism. God is described expressions that makes meaning to us as humans. God is described as having a face, ears, hand and feet in the bible. But he's invisible. The bible says no one has seen God but his son who is also God. When God dwelled in the tabernacle or the holy of holy, he was invisible. Israelites didn't see him. Now to the son of Man, let's see how the old testament described him. 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man,[a] coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Finally since u happy to quote the words of Paul saying Jesus is a man, which we don't have a problem with anyway. U shouldn't have a problem when same Paul said the FF about Jesus. Philippians 2:5-7 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. Colossians 1:15 [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created… Colossians 2:9 In [Christ] all the fullness of the Godhead deity dwells bodily. Now if u deny the above writings of Paul, then u ate just a desperate hypocrite. Choose and pick what suits your fancy just like u people do with your hadiths. Furthermore, this is what Peter said about Jesus. 2 Peter 1:1 To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Finally John 1. 18 says No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. Choose your pick, the buffet is plenty and in abundance. We Christians don't make things up like u Muslims do. Jesus being God is as real as the father being God. |
AntiChristian:There's a difference between God and God incarnate my friend. God took a flesh upon himself and manifested as the 2nd person of the trinity in a person called Jesus. Jesus also has the human nature with a human soul. That human nature must be subservient to the divine nature which is God. Just like we must ensure our human nature submits to our spirit nature- influenced by the holy spirit to be real Christians. AntiChristian:Then don't extrapolate your erroneous thought to Christian theology. The bible clearly teach the separation of the soul and spirit. Your Koran muddled it up and leaves it's readers confused on which is which. AntiChristian:How is it not applicable. You are seen as one despite u having a spirit and a soul. Your existence is one entity, so u would be seen as one. God entity is ONE and will always be seen as ONE my friend. Now to some doctrinal teachings. God described himself having a soul, would his soul be seen differently from him? Would the spirit of God which is the holy spirit be seen differently from him. If your own soul can't be seen differently, why do u think the soul and spirit of God be seen differently. U said u believe soul and spirit is the same. So tell me what is ruh and naffs in the Koran. Which one gives life to man, which one is the seat of emotions and intelligence in man, which one departs and return to God after death. According to the Koran is the soul naffs or ruh? Is the spirit naffs or ruh. |
AntiChristian:Mr Man that's metaphorical. It's Jewish way of expressing divine messianic claim. God has no hand not to talk of right hand. He's a spirit. Stop forcing Quranic concept into the bible. Someone standing on the right hand of God is a way of saying both has the same essence and nature. |
AntiChristian:A being is an existence. Manifestation of that existence is a person. A Human being is expected to manifest as one person. That's the expectation, though there are exceptions when ONE human being do manifest as more than one person...multiple persons in one body. God is an existence that manifest in three persons. But HE'S ONE EXISTENCE; HE'S ONE BEING NOT THREE. GOD CAN ONLY BE SEEN AS ONE ENTITY NOT THREE ENTITIES. THERE'S ONLY ONE GOD NOT THREE. Human being is a tripartite being. He's a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. There's a difference between the soul and the spirit. That Muhammed doesn't know that is not the fault of the bible that clearly teaches the difference btw the 2. Now back to my question, if I see u on a seat, who is sitting? Your body, soul or spirit. |
AntiChristian:If u sit on a chair, is it your body or soul or spirit sitting on the chair. |
XAUBulls:Went through your video, same old lazy and superficial conspiracy wack theories. That's why I said if we place u on scrutiny, u go drop. I'm not boasting. Anyway let me help u debunk the myth of Horus and Jesus myth claim. Claim: Horus was conceived by a virgin mother named Meri, and had a stepfather named Seb (Joseph) Truth: Horus was NOT conceived of a virgin. In fact, mural and textual evidence from Egypt indicates Isis (there is no evidence that “Meri” was ever part of her name) hovered over the erect penis (she created) of Osiris to conceive Horus. While she may have been a virgin before the conception, she utilized Osiris’ penis to conceive. She later had another son with Osiris as well. There is no evidence of three wise men as part of the Horus story at all. Seb was actually the “earth god”; He was not Horus’ earthly father. Seb is not the equivalent of Joseph and, in most cases, Seb is described as Osiris’ father. Claim: Horus was born in a cave, his birth announced by an angel, heralded by a star and attended by shepherds. Truth: There is no reference to a cave or manger in the Egyptian birth story of Horus. In fact, none of these details are present in the ancient Egyptian stories of Horus. Horus was born in a swamp. His birth was not heralded by an angel. There was no star. Claim: Horus attended a special rite of passage at the age of twelve and there is no data on the child from the age of 12 to 30. Truth: There is no continuous effort in the Horus mythology to account for all these years, so there are no real gaps in the chronology. Horus never taught in any temple at twelve (as did Jesus). Claim: Horus was baptized in a river at the age of 30, and his baptizer was later beheaded. Truth: Horus was never baptized. While conspiracy theorists often point to “Anup the Baptizer” (claiming he was later beheaded), there is no such person in Horus’ story. Claim: Horus had 12 disciples. Truth: Horus had only four disciples (called ‘Heru-Shemsu’), but at some point in his story there is reference to sixteen followers and a group of unnumbered followers who join Horus in battle (called ‘mesnui’). Claim: Horus performed miracles, exorcized demons, raised someone from the dead, and walked on water. Truth: Horus certainly performed miracles (he was, after all, described as a god). But there was no mention of exorcizing demons, raising people from the dead or walking on water. Claim: Horus was called “Iusa”, the “ever-becoming son” and the “Holy Child”. Truth: No one in Egyptian history was ever called “Iusa” (the word does not exist) nor was anyone called “Holy Child”. Claim: Horus delivered a “Sermon on the Mount”, and his followers recounted his sayings. He was transfigured on the Mount. Truth: Horus never delivered a “Sermon on the Mount”, nor was he transfigured. Claim: Horus was crucified between two thieves, buried for three days in a tomb, and was resurrected. Truth: Horus is not reported to have died at all in the vast majority of Egyptian narratives. There is also no crucifixion story. Instead, Horus is usually described as eventually merging with Re (the Sun god) after which he “dies” and is “reborn” every day as the sun rises. There is a parallel account describing Horus’ death and detailing how he was cast in pieces into the water, later fished out by a crocodile at Isis’ request. Claim: Horus was called “Way”, “the Truth the Light”, “Messiah”, “God’s Anointed Son”, “Son of Man”, “Good Shepherd”, “Lamb of God”, “Word made flesh”, “Word of Truth”, “the KRST” or “Anointed One”. Truth: None of these titles are in Egyptian history, but Horus is called by several names you might expect for any god in mythology: “Great God”, “Chief of the Powers”, “Master of Heaven”, and “Avenger of His Father”. Horus was not called “the Krst”. This word in Egyptian means “burial” (it wasn’t a title at all). Claim: Horus was “the Fisher” and was associated with the Fish, Lamb and Lion. Truth: Some of conspiracy theorists associate Horus with fish (by virtue of the fact that Horus was a fish in some portion of the ancient narrative), but there is no evidence Horus was ever called a “fisher” or was ever associated with the Lion or the Lamb. Claim: Horus came to fulfill the Law, and was supposed to reign one thousand years. Truth: There was no Egyptian “law” for Horus to fulfill, and there is no mention of a thousand year reign in Egyptian mythology. https://coldcasechristianity.com/writings/is-jesus-simply-a-retelling-of-the-horus-myth/ https://strangenotions.com/horus-manure/ |
pinkyruledworld:Mr Man, u simply hiding behind one finger. Come out and defend your Muhammed. Variants of name are derived from etymology of languages. Language belong to an ethnic group not one man. The Arabs already have a name for Jesus whom they call Yasu. Muhammed isn't a tribe or a nation, he's one person and he speaks Arabic as his mother tongue. We want to know how he came about the name Isa for Yeoushua. If nobody can explain, that means he made it up, and that says a lot about the book he supposedly got from Allah. |
XAUBulls:Another conspiracy junk as usual. Some people must make money out of conspiracy enthusiasts. There's no end. I'm not going to waste my time debunking your conspiracy wack theories. I did so few weeks back with a guy called mindhacker here on nairaland. He brought a Jesus conspiracy video similar to yours. He couldn't even defend the contents in the video he told me to watch....he was mixing up dates of actual events in history. He couldn't back his claim with historical facts and eventually went silent when I brought mine. Seriously it's not worth it, people should believe what makes them happy. I just know that if I take u up on whatever u bring here, u won't survive the scrutiny. I'm 100% sure of that. It doesn't matter the Methuselah years u ve been researching. It only meant you ve been looking in the wrong places. |
pinkyruledworld:Jesu is a variant of Jesus which is the English name. Jesus was derived from the Latin name Iesus. Iesus was derived from the Greek name Ieosus. Ieosus was derived from the original Hebrew name Yeoushua. The Arabic name Yasu is derived from the original name of Jesus Christ. Yeoushua. Now the big question is which ethnic tribe or group of people ever called Jesus Isa b4 Muhammed invented the name and started his tales of fabu. |
pinkyruledworld:Stop the cap bro, no one used the word Isa until Muhammed entered the scene with his tales of fabu. Show me anyone who used the word Isa for Jesus before advent of Islam. |
XAUBulls:If I take u on the nonsense u just vomited, u wont survive the scrutiny. Go to religious section and see how your ignorant kinds have been demolished with facts upon facts. Even the extremes of bible critics admit Jesus was a real historical figure. |
THE INVERSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GROWTH OF ISLAM AND PEACE. As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving Minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in: United States -- Muslim 1.1% Australia -- Muslim 1.5% Canada -- Muslim 1.9% China -- Muslim 3 % Italy -- Muslim 2.5% Norway -- Muslim 1.8% At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in: Denmark -- Muslim 2% Germany -- Muslim 3.7% United Kingdom -- Muslim 4.7% Spain -- Muslim 4% Thailand -- Muslim 4.6% From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in: France -- Muslim 8% Philippines -- 5% Sweden -- Muslim 5% Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3% The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5% Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8% At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world. Sharia law over the entire world. When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings, violent riots, looting, burning of non Muslims historic sites. Any non Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in: Guyana -- Muslim 10% India -- Muslim 19.4% Israel -- Muslim 16% Kenya -- Muslim 10% Russia -- Muslim 15% After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in: Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8% At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in: Bosnia -- Muslim 40% Chad -- Muslim 53.1% Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7% Nigeria 50% Muslim From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in: Albania -- Muslim 70% Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4% Qatar -- Muslim 77.5% Sudan -- Muslim 70% After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in: Bangladesh -- Muslim 83% Egypt -- Muslim 90% Gaza -- Muslim 98.7% Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1% Iran -- Muslim 98% Iraq -- Muslim 97% Jordan -- Muslim 92% Morocco -- Muslim 98.7% Pakistan -- Muslim 97% Palestine -- Muslim 99% Syria -- Muslim 90% Tajikistan -- Muslim 90% Turkey -- Muslim 99..8% United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96% 100% will usher in the peace of "Dar-es-Salaam" -- the Islamic House of Peace.. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in: Afghanistan -- Muslim 100% Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100% Somalia -- Muslim 100% Yemen -- Muslim 100% Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons. It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate. |
Dennisbulkan:Muslims are the most fake people I've ever come across in all religions. U guys will deny the obvious as if the rest of us are blind. Islam promotes violence, it's a well known fact. From middle east to Africa to Europe to asia. It's the same story of intolerance and hatred towards other minority religions. Even Japan the newest country to open its hands towards Islam has received its own first dose of reality shock. Just last week, Pakistani Muslims burnt down churches and Christian homes because someone claimed a Christian desicrated the Koran. U here denying that islam abhors violence but when Deborah Samuel was killed, the chief imam of Abuja came out and publicly announced there are red lines in Islam that should not be crossed. Your apologetics will go around lying Islam is a religion of peace just to win converts when in real fact, anywhere Islam thrives peace and freedom dies. You guys are what Jesus call sepulchre. Read Matt 23.27 for the meaning. |
okeysoninv:So u think if naira is redominated to like 1 dollar= 100 naira, someone earning 20k will continue to earn 20k. Chei, so many economic illiterate in this country. No wonder Tinubu won last yr election. FYI, someone earning 20k will now earn 2k after decimalisation by removing one zero. Remove two zeros, his salary becomes 200 naira. |
Truthday:Well, if unclothedness means mad, then your prophet was equally mad because he removed his cloth in public and was stark naked in front of people of Mecca.
|
Truthday:But kissing a black stone isnt idol worshipping. Praying facing Mecca and bowing towards mecca is not idol worshipping? How's different from sango worshippers that bow to their Idols during Any mandatory ritualistic routine u do during worship is paganism. I should be able to pray to my God facing Lagos. If human relocates to mars, where would Muslim face when praying? |
Naijaboy18:When u travel to Mecca, remember to shout ignorant while kissing the black stone. Also remember I said the practice is idolatry. |
Naijaboy18:But kissing the black stone isn't idolatry. Praying facing a black stone isn't idolatry. How's that different from idol worshippers who face a graven image when pouring libations to their gods. U guys are pagans. If u don't know, I'm telling u now. |
FxMasterz:Well said. Nothing more. |
So u said Torah is the word of God, Qur'an is the word of God, injil is the word of God. Then how many word of God do we have? 3 or 1. Cc AntiChristian |
Kesteem:U should have voted for Gbadebo and safe us all this noise. At least he's a true lagosian. |
Snapdrag0n:You don't know anything about Saudi Arabia |
cococandy:Can u provide evidence where white Christian nationalist persecute other religions. |
What's his crime |
Now this is a real and valid case compared to that nonsense indictment in New york Trump actually called the governor or the electoral officer in Georgia asking him to influence the 2020 presidential election in his favour. This was recorded on the phone and a strong piece of evidence. If Trump no go jail, them his JuJu must be strong. |
Cc nairalanda1 Nairaland number one armchair liberalisation economy champion. So the question is when should govt intervene in their free fall economic agenda called liberalisation. When fuel becomes 2000 naira per litre or when one dollar is 2000 naira. God bless u as u answer. |
Maynman:I asked u if papias was a Christian, where u got that I said he was the first to use the word Christian, I don't know. |
nairalanda1:As usual another of your thoughtless theory economics that fails heavily when tested. So long as we import fuel, there would always be pressure on the naira, and then the rebound effect on the price of fuel itself. And the merry go round continues. So when do we stop, when do stop? When dollar becomes 2000 naira/dollar or fuel becomes 2000/litre. Close to half of our import is fuel. Half of our Forex we earn goes into importing fuel. That's the reason the dollar keeps rising. And a rising dollar will need to inflation, higher cost of living and weak purchasing power for the people. Rampant inflation will force the CBN to raise interest rate to keep inflation in check leading to higher cost of borrowing. All these leads to poor economic outlook for the nation. This is not rocket science. The only way out is to refine fuel domestically, that alone will crash the dollar by half its value in naira. This present govt will eventually be forced to subsidise fuel again because there's a limit to what the people can take. Talking about putting the cart b4 the horse. |
Now that we've established the historicity of Jesus and confirmed there were actually people called Christians in the first century. I will be discussing evidence of the gospel manuscripts in the first century. We would be talking about the historicity of the gospel. |
Maynman:Where did I say papias was the first to use the word Christian? |
