EducationRe: Girl In Babcock University Sex Tape Gets International Scholarship by SIRTee15: 5:19pm On Jul 29, 2020
RTSC:
Everybody deserves a second chance.

An international scholarship is not a second chance. It's a reward.

I know a girl studying Electrical Engineering at a federal university.
She is on a consistent 5.0. She is in 300 level right now and has never gotten a B, ever.

She is also a devoted church worker.

If you need her contacts, I can give you so that we can give her a scholarship.
You are not in any position to decide what count as reward or 2nd chance.
The girl had sex which everybody does.
She didn't leak the sex tape, someone else did. Just to humiliate her.
I'm sure your 5.0 elect Engr student had never been humiliated in such manner b4.
Her own reward will come, it's not for u to decide that either.

Nigerians and hypocrisy...see them criticising and hyperventilating a girl they've probably self service with her sex video.
BusinessRe: Naira Plunges To N472/$ As Forex Scarcity Worsens by SIRTee15:
Thank God buhari returned to rule this country as a civilian president....
Or else his followers and fellow ignorant Nigerians won't let us rest. You will be hearing things like 'Only buhari can kill corruption and make our economy like Dubai'. I heard that nonsense while growing up.

I've never seen a leader as incompetent and ignorant like buhari. He has no idea how to run a cattle farm not to talk of a nation. He lacks any iota of leadership quality or managerial capability. No wonder his cows never increased beyond 10 for 20 good years.

The massive looting going on right under Buhari's nose will make Abacha convulse violently even in death. The lack of any meaningful economic policy has turned nigeria into poverty capital of the world.

His unrepentant supporters continue to shamelessly give excuse, while buhari's ministers mercilessly bleed the dying economy n cashing out big time.

The truth is Nigerians don't have a president. The seat of presidency is as good as empty. Those in the corridors of power are very much aware of this and thats why they loot with impunity and without fear.

Tinubu who forced an economic illiterate on Nigerians will never apologize, rather he's planning on how to take over in Aso rock and make bullion van transport to his ikoyi residence official and regular.

If I'm a buhari supporter, what I'll be doing right now is propagating the Jubril impostor story. I will claim the man in Aso rock isn't the buhari I campaigned and voted for. At least that will explain why the nation is on auto cruise.

How many times you don hear say person get tier 2 work from Nigeria except from nurses & doctors? They don’t need unnecessary nigerian graduates that won’t add value to their system fam. Just carry your degree dey go when you finish
Quite a lot of IT professionals also receive tier 2.....
Uk is good for tech guys...pay is also not bad. However, I'll advice a nigerian IT guy to work remotely which is better. Earn in foreign currency n spend in naira.

If u can break into financial or consulting sector, that's also cool. But it's highly competitive n u have to be good.

What I will discourage is someone coming here to do masters and paying all that expensive school fees in a non medical or non IT course...
That's a big no for me.

If u not in the medical field or into IT- these are the 2 jobs in demand right now in uk....
I'll advise u to try ireland or canada....
U can also consider central or northern europe- high standard of living and good pay irrespective of job.
Australia is also a good option, if u don't mind the distance.
USA will always be a solid option, but just know there's nothing like the american dream anymore. Na rat race and the winner takes it all.

See ehn, l can cook more than my wife sef because l was raised cooking, by my Mum, right from when l was taller than the Stove! grin
And l just dont dump and mix ingredients, l have delved into the "Science of why some food taste better than others" and believe me, as good as my wife can cook, she admits that eating what l cook occassionally, makes her day!

But God forbid she says to me "If you can cook yourself, then you are not eating in this house" or l wake up and say to her "You have to add your own half to Children's Tuition".

We both have our roles in that house but th eother person can assist in your role, strictly by Choice.
I cook anytime l want to or have the time and l enjoy doing it during those times. As a DIY person, l like doing house chores (I can practically repair anything in the house, though l spoiled a few in the process, during my learning curve grin ) but it will really, really break the relationship if my wife ever insists l do something in the house! The operative word here is "INSISTS".

What l have come to understand is that the Women that enjoy marriage, are not necessarily th eones that have chains of degrees or earn $500,000 or have very long nails with tatoos all over their body, they are the women who know how to allow their husband take care of them, without insisting or pushing it as A DUTY.

I get many invites for dates and lunch and all that when I’m there for visits.
The OP is true. They are super ambitious, independent driven, quite rich and, in all cases I’ve seen, desperately want to settle down. I remember going for a wedding— I was still in the second year of my PhD— and this man, having realised that I was from his region in Nigeria, tried “selling” his daughters to me. Beautiful, exciting prospects.

But it was very clear. None of them would actually act as a “wife” when married. They had all the tendencies of bossing one, instructing and leading the man in the marriage.
And you can’t blame them. They need the marriage because, they really believe it is the “cool”’thing to do.
But they are not ready for what, Biblically and traditionally speaking, constitutes a “wife”.

OP stop whitewashing them and tell your readers the good and challenging aspects of these our lovely sisters. undecided wink

Foreign AffairsBolton's Book: Trump pleaded with China to help win 2020. by SIRTee15(op):
Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton has made a series of explosive claims about the US president in his new book The Room Where It Happened, according to numerous news reports and an excerpt.

Most notably, Bolton claims Trump asked China to use its economic power to help him in the 2020 election, and tried to kill criminal investigations as “favors” for dictators he liked.

The explosive allegations came after a White House lawsuit sought to block the publication of Bolton’s book. But ahead of its scheduled release next week it has now been leaked to the New York Times and Washington Post, which reported on some of the stunning claims. An excerpt also appeared in the Wall Street Journal.

Here are eight of the most shocking revelations:

1. Trump pleaded with China to help win the 2020 election
According to the excerpt of Bolton’s book published by the Wall Street Journal, Trump asked China to use its economic power to help him win a second election.

In one instance, Trump and President Xi Jinping were discussing hostility to China in the US. “Trump then, stunningly, turned the conversation to the coming US presidential election, alluding to China’s economic capability and pleading with Xi to ensure he’d win,” Bolton writes.

“He stressed the importance of farmers and increased Chinese purchases of soybeans and wheat in the electoral outcome. I would print Trump’s exact words, but the government’s prepublication review process has decided otherwise.”

2. Trump suggested he was open to serving more than two terms
In another eye-opening exchange published in the Wall Street Journal, Trump also seems to support Xi’s idea of eliminating presidential term limits. “Xi said he wanted to work with Trump for six more years, and Trump replied that people were saying that the two-term constitutional limit on presidents should be repealed for him,” Bolton writes. “Xi said the US had too many elections, because he didn’t want to switch away from Trump, who nodded approvingly.”

3. Trump offered favors to dictators
Bolton’s book reportedly details cases where Trump tried to kill criminal investigations as favors to dictators. One incident published in the Washington Post includes a 2018 discussion with the Turkish president, Recep Erdoğan. Bolton says Erdoğan gave Trump a memo claiming that a Turkish firm under investigation in the US was innocent. “Trump then told Erdoğan he would take care of things, explaining that the southern district prosecutors were not his people, but were Obama people, a problem that would be fixed when they were replaced by his people.”

4. Trump praised Xi for China’s internment camps
According to Bolton, Trump was also approving when Xi defended China’s internment of Uighur Muslims in detention camps. “According to our interpreter,” Bolton writes, “Trump said that Xi should go ahead with building the camps, which Trump thought was exactly the right thing to do.”

According to leaked Communist party documents published in November, at least 1 million Uighur Muslims are detained in the camps.

5. Trump defended Saudi Arabia to distract from a story about Ivanka
Trump made headlines in November 2018 when he released a bizarre statement defending the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi. It included lines such as “The world is a very dangerous place!” and “maybe he did and maybe he didn’t!”

According to Bolton’s book, making headlines was the point. A story about his daughter Ivanka using her personal email for government business was also in the news at the time. After waging war on Hilary Clinton during the 2016 campaign for doing the same thing, Trump need a distraction.

“This will divert from Ivanka,” Trump reportedly said. “If I read the statement in person, that will take over the Ivanka thing.”

6. Trump’s top staff mocked him behind his back
From what has been reported, it sounds like Bolton’s book provides one of the clearest insights into the despair of Trump’s top officials behind the scenes.

In one example given by the New York Times, Bolton claims he received a note from the secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, after Trump’s 2018 meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, simply saying, “He is so full of shit.” On top of this, Pompeo also allegedly said a month later that Trump’s diplomatic efforts with North Korea had “zero probability of success”.

7. Trump thought Finland was part of Russia
Bolton’s book reportedly details some giant holes in Trump’s knowledge. In one instance, Bolton says Trump didn’t seem to know basic knowledge about the UK, asking its former prime minister Theresa May: “Oh, are you a nuclear power?”. On top of this, he also alleges that Trump once asked if Finland was part of Russia, and repeatedly mixed up the current and former presidents of Afghanistan.

8. Trump thought it would be ‘cool’ to invade Venezuela
According to the Washington Post, Bolton claims Trump said invading Venezuela would be “cool”, and that the country was “really part of the United States”.

China economy is not as solid and sound as it looks....
It's a shallow economy heavily dependent on export....
Their domestic economy is not well developed and the financial sector is not very sound....
They need to attain a GDP per capita around 25 thousand dollars for the domestic economy to be main drive of economy growth....now it's just 10 thousand dollars

If the rest of the world choose to decouple their manufacturing capability away from China.....china will really struggle....
Yet they are busy picking meaningless fights.....

China is not USA....they will be foolish to think they can project power in like manner....
China achieved its economic present status via promoting trade and investment....
That's why many countries see them as a better alternative to USA....
Xi Jinping will do well to desist from this aggressive but likely destructive part and seek advice from his predecessors.....
He may destroy the goodwill China once enjoyed.....
