Politics / Re: Ghanaian traders shut down more Nigerians’ shops by Sirwallace(m): 3:25pm On Nov 12, 2019 |
I thought The Ghanians were boasting we can shut our borders for eons. Whats with the backlash? Hightime we started using our number to teach all these parasitic countries a lesson. All we needed from the govt is an enabling environment for us to soar higher. US , China , India are using their numbers to their advantage, nothing stop us from doing the same to send these retards blackbone Ghanians back to stone age. 6 Likes |

Career / Re: What Is The Lowest Pay You Have Received For A Job Due To Desperation? by Sirwallace(m): 2:50pm On Nov 09, 2019 |
My first salary was 2500 at a private primary school very close to my house in 2007. Just using that to past time and prepare for jamb. When admission did not click and the money wasn't enough for upkeep. Fast forward to 2009, I entered road and found one of this recruitment firm with signboard that read "workers needed." So I Applied with passport and cv only to be posted to a factory working in 3 shift. 6am-2pm morning 2pm-9pm afternoon 9pm-6am night We get paid 450 naira per day and 500 on sunday. Those indians in a factory will use u and your spirit altogether Fortunately, admission came in late 2010. Resume school 2011 and now a B.Tech in mech engine looking for job opportunity. I have front development skills; html & css. Newbies in javascript. 2 Likes |

ajl: Thats another angle to this offer. But here is the thing, he worked with twitter product already without their consent. Thats an infringement of their copyright. Since he didnt do anything malicious to the product, he has a free ride with that. And for the value added to the product, he can either join the tech giant or dissociate his product from twitter. I believe its a win win situation with him joining the twitter team. 2 Likes |

Google, apple, and now twitters recruits braniac in the tech world across different countries to improve and invent new ideaa into their platform. FrLukas: Exactly. It still boils down if nigeria will use their platforms and apps with their crazy love for foreign product. Imagine china having the same version of FB, Twitter, Instagram and the likes and the government regulate how these platform operate. Look at Nairaland, how many people are on this platform? Remember it came up around the time facebook was created. 1 Like |

Niger deltas leaders, politicians, activists and militants are their own worst nightmare. Imagine having 2 ministries at your coffer and nothing to show for it. The amnesty programme is also there as the youth who can really hold their politicians responsible are taking care of. I saw Ijaw youth council venting on the new NDDC board take over from their corrupt board members. This clearly shows the youth have lost it and are just after the national cake at the detriment of the poor masses in their states. |
Business / Re: Balogun Market Fire Continues Into The Night, Several Hours After It Started by Sirwallace(m): 12:04am On Nov 06, 2019 |
Should: I saw it on channels this evening. And as a matter of fact, the lagos state emergency agency (LASEMA) team are already in the SCENE quenching it at that time. The LASEMA boss claimed that the shop owners store petrols, chemicals and keep generators in the building which keep elevating the fire. they are not waiting for another state to step up before they act. They did not complain of faulty fire fighters vehicles as they took charge of the situation preventing it to spread to other building like it happened in the erosion ridden part of the country. 2 Likes |

Prince001: Cry me a river and yet millions of Nigerians buy into chinese phone products as substandard as they are. The only thing the dude needs is to cut operating cost with the help of FG providing basic amenities like in power, reduced tax needed for his business growth and I must add, he needs to open his company to investors and shareholders. That will bring down the price of his collection. Trust me, it is just a matter of time before his car are ubiquitous on our roads if all of these are checked. |
Politics / Re: What Is IPPIS And Why Is ASUU Resisting It? by Sirwallace(m): 1:17pm On Nov 01, 2019 |
So much to do with Nigeria Against Nigeria progress. Surprisingly coming from the so called intellectuals from our school. They know the IPPIS will be the end of their multiple pay slips and ghost workers in our schools. When I was in school, I used to see some lecturers once in a semester. The vagabonds only come to school when exam is near, ditch out materials to junior lecturers, set exams then take off. Most of them are busy lecturing in other public and private schools neglecting the school that employ them. Imagine an engineering department having less than 15 lecturers from level 2 - level 5 with an average of 10 courses per semester in all levels. Half of those 15 are more or less part time lecturers who come to school whenever they are free from their outside hustle. If I were the president, as I have mandated every one of the to enrol in the system, if anyone failed to do so, that person appointment with the FG would be terminated. I know they will threaten and go on mass action. Any lecturer who join the mass action would also be sacked indefinitely. Afterall most of them are incompetent. New qualified lecturers will be recruited to fill their spot with the IPPIS syst clearly written on their appointment letter. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Omoslim26: That makes you part of the problem. Something that has to do with the mindset of Average Nigerians. With time, the local rice will improve to foreign standard only when we keep patronizing our own. The market force can finally set in for price reduction. If we all have this mindset of nothing is gonna work, nothing will ever work for us. Still boil down to most of you guys mindset. |

Scholar94: Congratulations to you guys who scale through the test. I was bounce back from the test when I log out to look for calculator while doing it. I never knew there was some kind of impromptu test after submission of application. I learnt that the hard way. For those going for AC, Here are the tips: Google the firm AC approach. Different firms have different AC approach but they have something in common, Group task involving a number of candidates on a particular topic peculiar to the recruiting firm. You have to contribute meaningfully to the group task and discuss. Panel or personal interview depending on the firm Individual Presentation; this could be on the spot presentation where you will be asked to present a giving topic for 1-2minutes depending on the firm (workforce do this) OR You will be given 5 minutes to research the topic before you present. OR Given a business proposal to present on powerpoint. All in all, Google the HCP AC approach, I am sure they are on Glassdoor. That will help you too. Best of luck to y"all. 2 Likes |
