But sincerely aren't Akwa Ibomites wasting their resources unnecessarily?

Look at the sparsely populated environment and tell me what vehicular traffic warrants such infrastructure. Can the money be used for something more pressing and/or beneficial.

Why do people who suddenly struck wealth resort to wastages.

you clearly don't know nothing about what Drives the economy.
number one factor is infrastructure. I am talking about good road network, electricity and security. when these things are put in place, the supply chain will be active without disruption, investors will move in, SMEs will grow and the community can kiss poverty good buy.

why do you think European countries and major players in commodity products set up their factories in China?
cheap labour and conducive environment to do business.

Data analysis

Started with excel already with 50% completion

Next after that is power BI for data analysis and visualization.

Then data science with python and SQL.

I am fascinated by data and thats the motivation.

Dropped web development (HTML CSS and JS) months back for technical reason. Can still go back after my obsession with data analysis.

I would really love a mental in area of data analysis here. Especially with source data.

Locomotives still run in the US and UK for those bashing these coaches. Its a welcome development that the FG see through how connected cities through rail can ignite the development in the country.
Thats movement of Good, services and people. Commerce generally

I wish state governors can work hand in hand to carry out similar projects to connect their states.

With constant power to support industry, you are looking at industrialization of the country. And I believe the German company Siemens is taking care of that.

Revive Ajaokuta to supply local construction companies and factories their steel.

With our youth engulf in tech.

You are looking @ African regional power like China.

"Have a look on youtube on the Men who built America and you get a glimse of what I am portraying here"

Aisde from Nepotism and favourism that shadow the Buhari' govt, this govt is the best we've had since 1999 when it comes to infrastructure development.

Thats why when people eulogise OBJ and you ask them to put fact to the table, they dont have tangible project to corroborate that.

People with that kind of mentality dont always get job. After Nysc in 2019, I got a job at okaya's factory, got a contract offer from one of the big 4, turned down a 50k factory job and I don't know anybody in those firms.

Who am I to talk. I'm a serving core member and I spend most of my time acquiring skills and knowledge. I wanted to adopt his life style but everything changed when I went for an interview to get a job instead of going to my ppa. The question the Hr asked me was crazy anytime I think about it then, but now I have got the answer now. The question was "What do you have to offer? *. My cv was blank. No skill, nothing nothing aside ms office. I told her Ms office and she said no, everyone knows that what else do you I have to offer?, she rephrased the question again and asked what can I do?. I was mute the for several minutes. I was telling her about my qualities which involves me being a fast learner, honest and all but she was still asking me what skill I have. She told me she will get back to me. That's when I knew I lost that opportunity. Thank God for that. This scenario opened my eyes and I started learning skills to improve my self.

Thing is if you were told back then about obtaining relevant skills within or outside your discipline, you will laugh it off.
I learnt that the hardway just like you.

My similar experience:
I just resigned from a factory job after NYSC cus I realised that job and life is not the reason I graduated with 4.37 in mech engine.
Saw an NGO unpopular advert here on Nairaland. Sent in CV and cover letter and I got called for an interview.
The interviewer is the founder of the organization.

Her first question was how I got the advert and applied?/told her I saw it online.

She saw my CV it was blankly blank.
No experience, no skill whatsoever.
Infact I didnt prepare good CV for the interview as I thought its just an NGO.
Until when I got to the office building like 5minutes drive from banana Island estate. I wow.

My software profiency on the CV was "window environment". Like who does that?
The lady was like what is window environment!

Asked me what skill can I offer and why would she hire me? I started blabbing about those online generic answers. She insisted what value can I add aside my degree result. Na so I mute.

The last one that fall my hand was if I was hungry? I told her I am not hungry but not comfortable.

Bottom line, she said she loved my confidence, scolded me on how to prepare for interview, get necessary skills and that I would thank her later for what she just did.

That woman changed my approach and confidence in interview..

After that, I have faced panel interview and engaged in recruitment group task and I am very confident when I speak.

Uyo is a beautiful city with great aesthetic beauty to behold. Place is cool and nice and not congested and of course not dirty like lagos.

The interstate travel from the Akwa Ibom govt transport system AKTC is one of the best if not the best in the country.

No dirty tout, hooligans and miscreants on the road fighting for your money on the road like mainland in Lagos.

I wish I could stay there after my service year.

Those days when Mr Chef salt wasnt that popular. We used to cook with the local measured soap.
When I gain admission, I was given the sachet Mr Chef to cook with.

So I cooked concussion rice with mr chef using the same quantity of salt I would have used with the measured one.

Na that dey I realised say that sachet salt get level.

The whole rice was salty and poison at the same time. Guys use me laugh that day. Nobody could eat it.

Absolutely nothing.

Oh, I forgot. The rag-tag outfit called Amotekun were here to scatter traders' wares and seize Okada from riders.

Hunger is chasing people out of their homes. Even Iya Kadija, the egbo and ewa seller, decided to cook today. She can't kill herself.

Hausa say; instead of useless hunger to kill man, make man go do useless work then take the money chop.

Should I blame the government? I'm really tempted to but I won't. I've decided long ago to never insult or curse any politician. Instead my insults and curses are directed to anyone who celebrates any politician, or steals even 5naira from public money, or extorts the people.

So If you are a fanatic of any political group, a tribal bigot who would rather see your kinsman at the top or no one, a police, FRSC etc officer who collects 50 naira, a public servant who isn't satisfied with his salary until he steals then my curses are with you. You're the problem of this country.

My kind of guy.

Well stated. Dont need to add more.

Unpredictability. Do not make the obvious move, and avoid leaving a pattern in your past activities. The enemy should not be able to identify what you will do in the future from what you did in the past. Do not take predictable routes, change your camp position . . . keep the enemy guessing.

Leading By Example. Always be there with your troops (but maybe not always at the front), be observable, and earn the respect of the soldiers by sharing their hardships. Sun Tzu uses various images here to back up his point that the commander is “with the troops.” The first image he gives is of the commander leading the troops up a ladder that is then kicked away, allowing for no return. Alternatively, the army is represented as a great herd of animals moving as one with the leader in the center directing them all in a way that cannot be predicted from the outside. Be with the troops in all dangerous situations, but remain unknown to the enemy.

Responsibility. As leader you must confidently assume responsibility for the whole force. Be at the center of everything and use your troops in the most efficient way with the best results.
