Sometime last year, I met a lady. At the time I met her things were not working for me the way I had expected. In fact, my career had somehow stagnated even though I was in a new job then.

Prior to meeting her, I was seeing someone who I once overheard complaining to a friemd of having sex with someone in her dreams and in that dream, she already has a family with this strange person in that dream. This coupled with other negative feelings i had made me leave the relationship.

Now comes this new girl. Within 2 months of meeting her (5months into the job), my employment was confirmed with a promotion to booth. I must say that this confirmation typically takes 1yr to 18months. 4 months later (totalling 9months on the job), I was promoted again to a mid level managerial position. Again, this typically takes around 3yrs for others. My company cited "exceptional service delivery", but deep down I know it's not just that, I'm that instinctive. Now, I'm not the type of person to easily find favor in people's eyes or the type people just wants to stick out for. But since I met her, even at my workplace, my superiors have taken special interest in me, I just can't do any wrong.

Now, deep down, I know some things have changed. Even mentally, i have become more purposeful as she is a very driven person. I've never mentioned to her about these changes I've noticed in my life.
The thing is that when we talk, albeit jokingly she always say that she came into my life and everything changed, that the day I will try nonsense with her (cheat or breakup), my life will just scatter. Even today she said it that the "spirit" (context is important here) working for her had to smoothen my life when she came into it, lest I infect her with my troubles, I jokingly replied that my mother's prayers are working wonders in my lofe, and she said that I should be happy she is in my life. A lot of the time, she has made such comments. There was a day she said that if I keep her happy, that I will keep enjoying. She says God answers her prayers and honestly, her life is good. It just feels like she has everything all figured out.

Honestly, everything feels better around me since I met her and i also believe in the notion that some people can pull good fortune to you, but I'm also apprehensive. What if i cheat on her, what if i break up with her?

Has anyone had this type.of encounter? Please, she is not a bad person. I'm just wondering if there are truly people like this.

Oga do not let anybody to deceive you, some ladies comes with a good luck charm, even guys as well, when they are with you, difficult things tends to be easy...if she's so confident with herself, then put your curiosity aside and treat her nicely instead of looking for baseless ideas capable of instigating negativities in your relationship...

Lol....I've been there before so I can relate my own was that along the line she succumbed to family pleasure and reluctantly got married, she even went as far as naming her first child after me...So the only remedy is to introduce her to as many guys as possible and hope someone should take her away from you, then travel to another state, limit your communication/ social media interaction especially the ones mutually shared by both of you, even at that, this method is likely not effective if her obsession is extremely high...

Therefore it's with deep regret to inform you that "You don enter one chance" if you like cheat on her, this kinda ladies will forgive you instantly....

But I just hope you know what you doing, such ladies are very loyal and rare, their only crime was falling in love, I still miss mine till today tho because I have never experienced such kinda passionate love since she left...

The HR person is at fault I am in HR and because of these kinds of reactions, I usually start my calls by introducing myself first so the other person knows who is calling and is at ease. He could have simply said "I am John D calling from bank. That wouldnt hurt. That said, the lady should have been cautious as a job seeker that was just interviewed and expecting phone calls. Lets call a spade a spade please.

How can you blame your fellow HR in issues like this, well I'm not surprised, meeting some uncultured mannerless staffs at the bank makes me wonder how they successfully passed all levels of interviews, well now I got my answers....!!

I am a guy in my late twenties, at least I can say am doing good for myself in this Buhari's next level. I've dated this lady for two years and I'm almost considering walking down the aisle with her before I started noticing some changes with her, mind you she is 24.



Issue all started when I left Abuja for Lagos for a contract job, before then she had been a very good lady and faithful too. For the time we dated she never demanded from me untill she lost her Step-mum, even at that her demands were untypical of a Nigerian lady, because she always fended for herself unless I willingly intervened.


Problem started when she first visited me and I noticed her long unusual calls, I confronted her but she convinced me with the normal just a friend stuff from female folks. Fast forward to the present day, she has kept her profile of been a good lady before me and family. I even introduced her to my people and from time to time she spends reasonable time
with my ailing father and younger siblings.

The actual trouble bothering me is this, toward the end of completing my contract job, she had accommodation issues and I couldn't lend a hand due to the fact that I had a lot to take care of financially and such emergency spending was not budgeted for. She was so much desperate that I couldn't help looking at her. So I had to use part of my younger brother tuition fee and also borrow from my colleague to help her secure a self contain apartment as well as everything needed to make her feel comfortable, she collected the money from me to give to the agent who was supposed to source for the apartment. She resolved to squat with a friend pending when the apartment would be ready and acquiring necessary furnitures.


Almighty God been so good to me, I got a permanent job offer in a multi-national firm in Ogun state. She came to visit me and I had to pay for her flight ticket to and fro, she just left my house on Tuesday after spending two weeks with me. During her stay with me I found out that the friend she told me she was squating with all those while has been her Ex-boyfriend. And the same person we started having issues over previously due to the fact that she was having sex chat with the said Ex and also another guy who is a member of their family church, which she told me is nothing to worry about that the ex was disturbing her that he his still having problem moving on .


I'm at the cross road and unable to decide whether to end it or wait for her to apologise. Though, I haven't told her of my findings, truth be told she's everything of a

except for my latest findings.

So many things happened for obvious reasons, most people are always quick to judge and say "End the relationship as if it's that easy without considering the emotional effects it will have on you" because the next person you might meet ain't perfect as well...
In actuality, people cheat for obvious reasons, some do it for fun( their nature) while some do it based on other circumstances...I'm not trying to justify cheating in a relationship tho, but it seems your GF changed due to circumstances/unforseen reasons you don't know and certainly she lied to you from all observations....You just have to dialogue with her and relate your latest findings and surely your next step will be administered to you from that conversation....
