What annoys me the most is that most of this pastors don't really preach the gosple. All they do is tell you how you will be blessed beyond expectation.

My guy, there's nothing beautiful about being a Christian and living in abject poverty. No no no. That's a No no for me.

During the time of Christ on Earth, he never lacked. So why then should his followers lack the basic things of life when they're supposed to be leading a Christ-like-life ??

If a preacher with worn out shoes and tattered clothing comes to you to say "Jesus is Lord and God is good" ...would you believe it that his God is actually good?

Why wouldn't the preacher's good God provide some good things which he(the preacher) obviously needs to stay alive and preach on the good gospel?

To me...when a preacher with a Rolex wristwatch, rocking a Ferragamo necktie, wearing Giorgio Armani suit with Luis Vuitton shoes, steps outta his 2020 Rolls Royce wraith to tell me "Jesus is Lord and God is good" ...I'll find a hard time not to believe that his God is truly good when am seeing the evidence of his goodness right before my eyes.



PS: the blessings beyond ones expectations you say most preachers keep hitting on these days is quite essential in moving the gospel of Christ to the next level.

...you don't have to be miserable and live the life of a pauper on Earth, just because you 'hope' to have a life in Heaven.

Where do I start

Well, I actually pulled off some dangerous stunts while in FGC, Odi (with some accomplices sometimes sha)

Favorite part was when I was always sneaking in Best Lovers magazines into the school, every term, from my JSS3 to SS2.
The magazine made me very popular amongst my seniors; males & females alike.
(for those who don't know, Best Lovers magazine was the Nigerian version of PlayBoy magazine, then).

There was also a time when me and my three other silly friends would scale the fence of the female hostel during lights out; just to go see which of our class mates sleeps náked, which one really has small breâst or very small yansh, which one looks very stupid when she sleeps, which one snores when sleeping, etcetera etcetera


And then the most dangerous of all, was when I was caught making out, fingering & smooching the "popular" big yansh JSS1 student

My saving Grace was the fact that it was my fellow prefect who caught me, during that night's prep.
She's had the hots for me for as long as I could remember. So after switching on the light in the class that night, catching us pants down, ordering the junior student to drag up her panties and disappear to her class, I just knew I had to act fast else I might lose my post by the next assembly if she gets to report me the next day. Lol.

As a sharp guy, the very next morning I packed my breakfast from the dinning hall and sent two female junior students to deliver it to her in the hostel.
Later on when she came to class that morning, I was seated in her seat, waiting to begin a lengthy apology. Just so she won't report the incident of the previous night to anyone.

To cut the long story short, after apologizing to her that morning, by break time in the afternoon I bought and brought her Gala & Fanta.

And that's how I started being OVERLY NICE to her.

By the next term, we've become boyfriend and girlfriend

Las Las...she didn't report my misconduct.

N am beginning to think that in places where there's epileptic power supply in Nigeria, such areas should start requesting for Prepaid Meters

In my own area of Port Harcourt, sometimes in 4 to 5 straight days, there'll be no power supply at all, and when it finally comes it doesn't even last up to 6hrs out of 24hrs of the whole day.
Yet the bills keep coming at the end of each month. ...so annoying

Prepaid Meters is the only way forward; that way, No power supply to consumers equals No payment into NEPA's account by customers at the end of each month.
