Ok guys, It's been a while. . . We have less than two days to D-day, what are your thoughts? Meanwhile we have Vidic playing mind games with the ref concerning Drogba. Guess he has not learnt from Benitez mistake. Lampard is in terrific form. I think the outcome of the game from a Chelsea point of view will largely depend on the super trio - Lampard, Terry and Drogba. These guys carry the team on their backs. It may be Drogba's last game for Chelsea sadly, and maybe Lampard's. They're our highest scorers this season and have been so for the last 4 or so seasons. They will surely be missed. Spot light on Grant also, our record breaking manager - 1st Chelsea Manager to take us into the CL finals. We may be seeing the back of him too if we fail to win this final. I expect an exciting game. I hope it does not get too cagey. What do you guys think? |
The worst thing to have happened to this company is the HR |
So damn funny . . . Tanx ![]() |
Personally, I think all men that beat up their partners should be hanged. The quicker they are annihilated the better. Big ups to ttboy's mum and to hell with what the so called intelligent ones think of her actions. I would have done far worse. He would have been stupid to even think of flying down here if I was involved. A woman's financial, emotional or psychological dependence should not be used as an excuse in an argument when it comes to abuse. If any masculine idiot has a bit of sense left in the skull, then OJ Simpson and Nicole's example would have set his head straight on this matter. Instead we have self acclaimed intelligent, insenstive, shallow, hypocritical and obtused masculine entities attempt to distort and make light of this situation. You are disgraceful. Jungle justice or not . . . I'm all in for maiming the woman beating scumbags. |
Vicade Wont have said it better myself. Hope he gets the message |
Except AG wins the CL, he has done nothing and should be fired . . . period. At least with JM we always were sure of a trophy. The reason why we started slowly this season is JM was refused funds and had to go for average players that were on a free transfer. The same with last season. We lost Gallas against JM's wishes; this caused a rift between him and Kenyon. This affected our season when we lost our 2 defenders for months without a substitute (AG is indeed lucky to have Alex and Ben Haim). RA's rift with JM started when RA insisted Shevshenko must be in the starting line up even when it was evident he was not delivering. Remember when Shevy first came in, he was always starting matches and JM kept him in until he scored his first goal months after. JM then had to put him on the bench as his game was overly poor. I know some myopic fans will now blame JM for Shevy's demise but that argument falls flat on its face knowing that Shevy had lost form in the prior season in milan and even Alan Shearer commented negatively about the transfer when it was made. I think what Shearer said was Shevy has lost his legs or so. Ballack was a regular and was never an issue until the injury. Ballack violated contract agreements by taking medical advice and treatment without the knowledge of the club. JM is not just a good manager, he is a great manager. He made average players become world stars and gave us our first back to back including our first EPL title in 50 years. Ranieri and AG has failed in that respect. JM's failure in Chelsea was the inability for our team to make it to the CL finals. Now we're in it, but AG has been pretty lucky with draws. We met pretty weak teams and Liverpool has been our only test. Even at that we were lucky with that own goal which was very undeserved. AG is no tactician or maybe I do not know what I'm talking about. It is a known fact that Clarke and Cate are in charge of training. If there is anything you can not fault AG on is his luck, but can we live on that? |
Ok guys, Lets look forward to the Champions League. Personally I think after Sunday's result our players may need some sort of motivation to be back at their peak. We definitely have to play better than we did. Sundays game emphasized our need for quick feet wingers. Bolton proved difficult to break down. I watched the ManU's game and anytime Ronaldo ran towards wigan's defense they was a scare. We need wingers with that effect. |
Akola Are you still arguing about these lies. Ibime has accepted he was wrong about the positioning but the other one has been a liar from the very beginning. Imagine saying JM lost the plot and our season was over . . . liars never change. Ibime Remove the mole from your eye . . . Baltemar was hired by JM's (more like at his suggestion), Ten Cates was hired by RA. Stop being dull. A manager picks his assistant not the club. Since RA picked Cates then it is clear that he and Grant were JM's replacement. Cates is actually here to work on our movement and formation on the pitch. JM is clearly better than these two. |
Seun Please why cant you just block his IP instead giving him the privy to come up with numerous user names. Ibime We were on level points with Man Utd. Your logic again is terribly flawed. Look I think you should give up. If you looked at JM's 6 games why not look at Grants first 6 games. Are you ok at all? If you look at all Grant's games then do the same for JM and stop this bias arguments. Meanwhile concerning assistants it is clear you know nothing of your club or even Ten Cates who was an ex-manager of Ajax by the way. |
ibime Did you attend any sort of school? Your intelligence is begging for re-education. 1. JM's assistant Clarke IS STILL IN the club, you dullard, so your point is wiped out. 2. Even my babie sister knows Cates and Grant are JM's replacements, arguing about this is beyond reasoning. You go ahead jare, JM was not throwing the season away. Like Akola has said please stop your incessant penchant for falsehood. I have shown you time and time again that we were only 3 points behind Arsenal the league leaders and the same points with ManU when JM left, except you are a false prophet, you can not say what would have happened with ManU. Take out your anti-JM, anti-Drogba and anti_lampard sentiments from your mind and you will start being pretty close to simple intelligence. |
Ibime Your statements beg for reasoning and relevance. My point is simple - if we win nothing this season then JM is better than Cates + Grant put together (as those two were brought to replace him). Let's see you argue about that before you digress to Barca as a cover up for your empty logic. |
As much as I hate to admit it, I think the Arsenal fans on NL are the most loyal fans yet. Come rain, come gloom, come 4 seasons without a single trophy . . . whoops I almost forgot the Amsterdam tournament and Emirates cup . . . they still firmly stand by their club. I think that is surely noteworthy. NL would be an emptier place without you . . . or not. ![]() Cheers to ya'll ![]() |
Akola, Kitaun, Rikky Bullseye!!! Ibime The fans can sing all they want, RA does not care. Relieving Grant of his duties would only be the right thing to do. Grant lacks the tactical know how needed for top flight teams. Every time we needed to win we dropped points - Wigan, Spurs, Bolton . . . etc I want a change of technical staff. We had Cates and Grant in place of just JM and what difference has that made? If we do not win the CL, it's a trophyless season, meaning Cates and Grant are even worse than just JM. |
I can't wait to see the back of Grant, the guy's luck can't even last a season. Congrats to ManU, and Steve Benneth. |
Ibime We r pressing but bolton is holding on. Terry is injured. Drogba missed a clear opportunity and then came close wit a freekick. |
Its just sad how refs queue up to support manu. FA are bunch of cowards. |
Nateevs Are you watching ManU's game? What can u say about Benneth d ref |
Dude, take it easy, are you always in fire mode? My comments were intended as light humor ![]() No harm meant |
Perhaps the massive goal difference ![]() |
It will be a fairy tale if we win but I'm having no hopes. I expect a thriller tomorrow. I surely hope we come out with at least a trophy this season. It is possible that Man Utd drops a point. There will surely be drama tomorrow. |
I want Diego but if he comes we need to let one of the others leave or at least cut their wages ![]() What do you think about tomorrow? |
Personally, I think the number of gunners on this thread should be kept to the barest minimum. . . Elders included ![]() Where do you think Rasputin and co learned their trade from? Anyway to be fair to all parties - Debola is relatively peaceful around these parks and I think Rasputin clicked on reply before thinking (Innocent mistake) |
Voyeurs really have taste for youngsters . . . lets see about that. You know Arfa was struggling in Lyon (or so Ibime's news source said). Will he be better at top English teams? We need one left winger not 2 wingers though, except we are losing both SWP and Malouda (and maybe Kalou). No midfielders would come unless we see one of ours leaving. We already have Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Obi, Makalele. When I said Bosingwa seems frail, I was talking about his strength not speed. Stamina is good for the EPL and if he does have speed (I did not notice this too) then it's great. Diego would be a nice addition but do we have space for him? |
Akolawole:I think the point she was trying to make is shit happens. Throw a little around and the guns get rolling ![]() No harm intended Please do tell, when did Debo become an Elder? I understand Rasputin being an ignorant angry little kid but Debola's promotion was undeserved. ![]() Debola will explain away all Arsenal failures on lies, distortions and half-truths. Hell, I've started suspecting he's Wenger's script writer. ![]() |
I've seen that face before . . . he seems to know how to handle the ball but he wont get goals as easier as that in the EPL. He seems frail though, so I'm not sure of his strength. Defensively I do not know, but I agree with you, he seems like a chap that would favor an attractive style of play, though I would have wanted miguel or ramos. He's age is good though. What do you think? |
Oh well . . . i tried How good is this guy? I know nothing of him. |
Guy, I don't speak swahili ![]() Translate sharp sharp ![]() |
I'm still trying to make sense of the following posts . . . ![]() acidrop:And that would be WHO? lysaa:And that's the point of this thread? Cadet:Wow, thanks for sharing . . . we know exactly who those are ![]() @topic Nella and Havanah |
I wanted to see cadet or lysaa not you jare ![]() |
Grant thinks Title Race should be decided by playoffs not goal difference Sky Sports Link |
