I Just completed my 1st Degree in Computer Sc and have up to 100k left in my pocket. I have no job currently but had undergone CCNA training. My question is, do i start up a small business with the money or do i complete the CCNA certification with up to 70k. In addition, my nysc maybe batch A next year. Kindly advice me. Thanks

Words couldn't possibly describe what my initial reaction to OP's post was: Probably best described as a sequence of disbelief, skeptical, appalled and horrified (and in that order.) What sort of country pays it's teachers a basic salary of 104 dollars to teach the next generation of scholars?

The future of this country cannot hold, you simply can't by quality for cheap!!!! I have mentioned in one thread before, and i will do so here again: Woe betide whoever is spending funds that ought to be rightly spent on education in this country on holidays abroad and new houses in Maitama.


@OP. Sorry that all my rant isn't probably what you needed at this point, i was probably a little out of touch to be jolted back to reality by your thread. I have often encouraged people to learn to draw a line on just how much they or their service is worth and to learn not to sell below this line!....I'm not in a position to judge whoever is paying you 17 grand a month. His or her ability to afford your services will depend on how much he or she is making as profit at the end of the day. You, sir, however, have options and if i were you, i know what i will be choosing. Unless if of course, you are a staunch believer of the hugely sold crap about teachers rewards being in heaven.

Here's what i will do if at the end of the day if i couldn't get an academic job that pays a lot more than this: I will channel my efforts into my fish farm. I will build networks with anyone that can afford to at least buy a fish (and for those who can't, they probably have families and friends who can). I will seek to expand my sales and market dominance within local market and among retailers on a strict cash and carry basis. I will begin building my contacts by speaking to the parents and guardians of my student/pupils. Once I've had a strong base of loyal costumers, i will resign my current low paying job to focus more on my fish farm. Lastly, I will raise my kids never to give anything to this country and to take from it everything!!

But then, that's just me.

Note that this assumes that you have a strong knowledge of fish farming and a great personality to build networks. If in the case you don't have a strong knowledge of fish farming, the word fish in the preceding paragraph could be replaced with anything from cassava to cow milk.

He has a way of bringing down ur morale anytym he wants. He keeps saying that there are over 5 million unemployed grads on d street- cant remember his exact figure now. He's had well over 20 people, if not more, sacked in less thatn 24 months. He's also in d habit of requesting for corpers and would ask them to leave before the end of their service year! He's had issues with virtually all d corpers posted to his office and i wonder why they keep giving him corpers. This guy told about 6 of us to go, that he wanted to shut down his company cos he wasnt making money (and he told sum other people that we had the guts to ask him for our outstanding salaries, that he was goin to see how we would get other jobs and ask to be paid, when He locks up!)...
Well, i got another job almost 1 week later- a verrry good one at that and almost sued him for not paying my salaries buh decided against it cos he is TROUBLE and i dont want to descend to his level cos he has soo many court cases, that his name is well known in the court in his vicinity.
He's always in one scandal or the other

3.why is it that christianity was founded by catholics,but today,numerous christians castigate catholics?dont they realise the same catholics they condemn compiled the bible they read,set the date for mas and easter?
4.do you realise that going by the standard of the Bible,almost every christian is going to hell fire?do you realise almost every christian breaks 2 of God's commandment?you ask how.isnt the shabbath supposed to be sunrise till sunset on saturday?didnt God say "keep the sabbath day holy"?why then do christians observe the sabbath on a day chosen by the pope rather than that commanded by God?didnt God also command that the passover feast be celebrated?and the feast of unleavened bread?why did christians replace them with christmas and easter?
5.the isrealites are God's own people.why then does modern day isreal reject christianity and the doctrine of christ?why dont they read the Bible?

I'm open to reasonable arguments. If God hasn't given you the best arguments, then why don't you go and cry unto him for failing you? Good arguments led me to reject your God, better arguments will help me do otherwise. If your God gave you faith, why doesn't he give me some too? Or am I to shutter my reasoning for that to work?
