I dont know about different laws for celebrities. Even Barry Bonds -US ex  baseball player  who is way too much richer than Martins could only deposit $9,999 to avoid  being questioned by govt officials. Anything above $10k is likely going to trigger an investigation. someone is going to ask u some questions while taking 40K out of your account and someone is going to ask u questions whenever u deposit it. This goes on and on. Since his money is legit, he could worry less of govt officials and I think their incomes are pre-taxed

For any deposit over 10,000 (CASH) the bank has to fill out a report with the customer declaring the source of funds. It doesnt mean you cant deposit it, it only means you MAY be investigated to make sure you are not money laundering. We've gotten stricter since 9/11. If your job is legit (c'mon all celebs are well known!) eyebrows will not be raised and investigation closed. Many people just cant be bothered and try to deposit below ten grand at a time.  As far as I know you can withdraw your money anytime afterall its yours. You just have to give us advance notice to make sure we have it ready. Chikena.

I tell my single friends to travel with their best girl pals any chance they get. Get that passport stamped every chance you get. marriage happens when it does and usually when you least expect. Adding a husband to an already robust life is great not looking for a man to make you feel good because every says its time.

Why are people shouting abouting withdrawing 40,000 pounds in cash? The rules that apply to mere mortals like us do not apply to celebs. Besides they are private bank clients. They dont do your usual branch runs. In my bank we employees cant even pull up their accounts to view their balances. (trust me i've tried to find Donald Trump's account!) . Their banks are just glad to have them as clients and cater to their every whims. They make a lot of dough and when they want to spend it, you cannot stop them.

For me, my first love wld be my home and not my job. And if both of us are working and there is a need for one to quit job for family and children's sake, there shld not be an arguement on who will, i, the woman wld quit job to take care of the family as long as what the man earns can comfortably take care of us.

I dont see marriage as a competition btw the man and the woman, if there is love, trust in the union, all these abt independence wld not arise.

That u are not doing a paid employment shld not mean u can't have something doing to keep urslf busy if u feel bored. I have seen so many families where the woman is not working, the man is the sole responsibility bearer of the family and things are working fine.

In the case of the assumption that if something happens to the man, what if something happens to the woman or both at the same time or is it the man that always dies first.

The bottomline is, know what is working for your home. If your husband insists that u leave the job for the home, consider that except, u are saying u prefer your job to your husband.
