All this bigoted fools here. One of our best ever U-20 captains was Bawa Abdullahi in Saudi 1989. Is he not a northerner? Football is strictly by ability and not by tribe! How else does one push this into the skulls of some people here? |
"My God is not a robber"... This was in Shiloh 2012. Tithe payment for me is a weekly affair because there is no week where tangible money does not enter my hand. Be it according to you as you wish. Those who make mockery of paying tithes will be given a surprise by the devil. Let them continue. |
Can the OP tell us if he is the accountant of Shoprite for him to have access to such privileged information? |
OP, can you leave your number so I can call you? If you are for real, I will invest in your business for a 40% stake. You retain majority control. I will take you by the hand and give your business a real face, and protect it from the sharks out there. |
I am appalled at the comments of this Ghanaian actress. If she had such concerns, must they be made public? People forget that if you receive a transplant, there are drugs you must take forever to prevent the rejection of the organ. I knew about Steve Kadiri's situation and from what I knew about his case, kidney transplants do not just end at the operation. |
emmysenior: Another a$$ licker and political quagmire on the lose.Go and hug the nearest transformer you can find. I am not even a member of a political party. I am simply a Nigerian who decided to take his destiny in his own hands and not wait for the Nigerian govt to decide for me how much I should earn. Do you even know how a government policy affects your life? Govt brings out a policy and rather than get interested in how it will affect you, many dunderheads like yourself prefer to come here to talk any rubbish that enters your head. That your friends could not access anything does not mean there are others that have not done so. If you like, keep waiting for govt to decide your destiny. |
ifegy: @stagger, em, you know how the whole Russian, communal, back-to-the-land thing (otherwise known as communism) eventually worked out for them, right (Animal farm, anyone)? And how the whole economic system even today is still nuts, with the rich, corrupt few (communist big wigs/connected few turned capitalist oligarchs) versus everyone else? Please, go and read about the role of these farms in stabilizing the Russian economy during the 2008 global financial crisis and stop quoting Animal Farm. Animal Farm was written as a satire of the communist system operated by Joseph Stalin and had nothing to with "the whole Russian, communal, back-to-the-land thing". |
emmysenior: To run mouth easy huh?Let me address your ignorance because you obviously know nothing about Nigeria. Fact: Nigeria has more than 110 million hectares of arable land. 70% OF NIGERIA'S ARABLE LAND IS YET TO BE CULTIVATED! If you doubt me, please go to the Ministry of Agriculture and get the facts. SO you ask where the lands are? I have answered you. Where are the farm implements? Where are the seedlings? Please visit our agricultural research facilities. There is more than enough and they are all lying waste. People do not even need to buy. They can be leased from any of the 13 river basin authorities. Where are the waters? Obviously you watch too much of Channel O. Do you know that paddy rice was cultivated round the clock last year and will be done this year to produce more than 50% of Nigeria's domestic demand? And this rice is being planted in Sokoto, Kebbi and other states in the arid zone of the country where rainfall is so low? Have you never heard of irrigation? What is the River Niger, River Benue and other inland waterways there for? Do you know that as a result of dry season irrigation farming, Nigeria's rice imports have been cut by 50% in one year alone? GET THE FACTS! On buying the produce, you should go and find out what is going on about the Abuja Commodity Exchange (COMEX) and the role Access Bank is playing in that initiative. I give you the assignment. I won't tell you. Go and find out. As for the roads in rural areas, what do you think SURE-P has been set up for? Do you know that the road rehab and the railway network being built is being done with SURE-P funds? If Oga Jonah advocates of scrapping of petroleum subsidy, most of you guys will complain till thy kingdom come. As for monies to buy seedlings, etc, go and find out about FADAMA and the ADB loan system being given to farmer's cooperatives. Now between you and I, who is thinking with the anus? |
I have been an advocate of scrapping a minimum wage, because it locks out those who can work for less than N18000 from the system. In my compound, we have a gateman. He is paid N12,000 a month. We all go out in the morning and come back at night. During the day, he locks the compound and goes to a nearby construction site to do masonry work at N3,000 a day. He works that way for 5 days in the week, 20 days in a month. At the end of the month, his total take home pay is N12,000 PLUS N60,000, which is N72,000. He does not pay for electricity. He does not pay light bills. He does not pay water bills. One day, I went into his crib and met he and three of his friends crunching chicken. I asked him what he does with his N12,000 salary and he says it is sent to his brother in the village for the feeding of his parents. Assuming the minimum wage of N18,000 is to be enforced, would he have had the initial baseline N12,000 to manage is life until whenever? Point is this: some people can make do with lower than the minimum wage because they do not pay the regular bills that we all pay. They do not fuel cars, they have no need to pay trans, they do not pay for DSTV, they limit how much they make on calls, and generally, they are happier because they have less worries. In contrast, guys like me who work and run a business pay two sets of electricity bills, buy fuel or 3 generators, buy fuel for cars (the one I drive has a consumption of 17 miles per gallon so in a month I spend upwards of N30,000 on fuel), buy airtime for self, wifey and parents, pay salaries for staff, pay huge rent upwards of N1.8 million per annum, and incur all manner of bills. Most money I make is used spending on bills to maintain a lifestyle. We all do. So is it really necessary to operate a minimum wage system? I think not. Rather, we should copy the example of Russia which mandated all state workers to own farms in their villages, gave them money for such and encouraged to eat from their farms and sell farm produce. That way, their overdependence on salaries was totally cut down. We need to shift away from this mentality of ours where we derive all our joy on salaries and what can be stolen from government coffers. In Nigeria, civil servants are the most corrupt people, not politicians. I say we scrap the minimum wage, and instead replace it with a Back-to-Land program where land is allocated to every civil servant in Nigeria to farm, and a one-time farming grant issued to all to cultivate their farms. They can be arranged into farming communes for communal cultivation, harvest and sale. We should focus more on such stuff than on consistently maintaining a minimum wage system that is obviously not sustainable. Indeed, HOW MANY STATES ARE EVEN PAYING THE MINIMUM WAGE? |
Eme wizzy mo bad gon Is spending money in large gon The money too much we dash gon Your money can’t move me My money and your money no be mate Your money can’t move me My money and your money no dey the same rate See my money too large, oh! This boy too bad oh! When I hear lyrics like this from Wizzy and others like him everywhere on my airwaves, and then the Mr Maga Don Pay now comes out with this song of his, I think the whole thing is pretty hypocritical. Damn all these musicians. Stupid hypocritical vain elements...all of them. I am just sad for OJB. Situations like this show who the real friends are. |
Hmm, And I drove past that side around 8pm. Na wa o. But why get a car of N8.3million and no tracker? |
Okija_juju: Very Professional move from the Police men I must say... I believe the standard Police procedure in a chase is to shoot out the tyres, do a pit manuever, deploy spkies or chase till they run out of gas.Anu ohia! See argument! |
Total BS. In a bank robbery, the bank staff are always the first to be arrested, and the police will spill out any useless stuff for public consumption. Go back in one year and see if the same OPM has been convicted. He probably would have been free because of lack of any evidence and the real robbers continue their work. |
All he wants is "the waist". What did she expect? |
They had better not end up in prison before these two fargs molest all the inmates there. Ueeraagh (pukes!) . |
These guys flew for almost 20 hours to Brazil and got into the pitch 6 hours later. I have once played a match where we travelled for 6 hours, were not given any accommodation and then had to play the host team less than 7 hours later. Trust me, it is not fun. Cut them some slack please. |
SailorXY: if the bible says " a man should not put on what belongs to a woman, and vice versa", now you claim in those days everyone puts on robes, that means there must have been some form of variation in design that totally differentiate the man's style of robe to the woman's style. Why don't you now meet a tailor to sow "a man's skirt" for you to wear around town? The Scottish culture you are talking about, the Word of God is higher than any culture!!! Do you see the Christ-like men among them wearing skirts? The Bible says that the coming of the Lord will not come to pass until the Truth has gotten to every nook & cranny of human existence. That is because there will be no valid excuse to give on the last day! So my bro, the fact that majority are doing it *broad is the way that leadeth to destruction* doesn't make it right. If the world do not condemn/persecute you *because they see no difference between you & them(the sinners), then you are not of Christ. The World Loveth Their Own #na Bible talk am #SshhiikkeennaaWho defined trousers as male or female clothing? Was it God or man? Did God sew trousers for Adam and skirt for Eve when they were being driven out of the garden? People like you interpret the bible upside-down and then come here to claim what you don't know. |
Can those criticizing the wearing of trousers by women tell me what their fore fathers were wearing as clothes in the 16th, 17th and 18th century before the white man came to give us garments sewn from cloth? Were we not wearing leaves? Now dress up in leaves and walk on the street and see whether you will not be jacked off to the sanitorium. The culture of a people determine the mode of dressing. In Scotland, men wear skirts. In the middle East, men and women wear robes. Jesus Christ wore a robe which in today's Nigeria, will be classified as effeminate dressing. I tie wrapper at home. My wife does not because she hates it. She wears trousers which are very decent that don't expose anywhere to befit her status of a married woman. Even when I met her, her trousers were never all these types that hug the hips and show the G-strings or whatever you want to call it, which was part of what attracted me to her. There is nowhere the bible specifically condemned the wearing of trousers. In Africa when the bible was written, we used to walk around stark naked in some places, or use leaves to cover up. NOT TROUSERS. NO AFRICAN WAS WEARING TROUSERS IN THE TIME THAT JESUS CHRIST WALKED THE EARTH! So forget these self-seeking, self-serving holier-than-thou "preachers" who say things that cannot be substantiated by the bible. If it is not in the bible, no one should add to it. It is very ok for women to wear trousers because it is a mode of dressing which is culturally and socially acceptable. Trousers cover up the body more than skirts, and afford women more protection and covering. The exception is trousers that are designed to expose sensitive parts that should remain covered. Those are the ones whose use we should condemn. |
Sunny_bobo: I'd take this with a pinch of salt knowing that things like this could be arranged.Who knows you to give a damn about what you think? I remember all the negative publicity and stupid comments that people made when this story first broke. Granted, there was an element of carelessness on the part of the workers in that department, but God rescued his own at the end of the day and I am happy for the parents. Going forward, everyone involved should be more vigilant; the church workers and parents. |
bigx: Setup an email with an autoresponder containing payment details.I answer emails on a personal basis. Sometimes I get requests from previous customers. Then what happens? They get hiot with an autoresponse? No thanks. |
Rich Lizzy: Hello Mr. Stagger,Check your email. And just like I expected, none of those I sent emails to have even acknowledged. Meanwhile they come here and start crying that they need the manual. I don't have time for this nonsense anymore. |
Retarded woman. So we should go back to the days of bad and flooded roads, collapsing bridges, and militancy. This woman insults some of us who were born and bred in PH and had to leave when Odili created so much problem that nearly collapsed the state. Don't we have eyes? On which roads did she drive to the venue of the event? The ones that Ada George or Odili built? Nonsense. |
Asari Dokubo's dad owns a lot of properties in PH, especialy D-Line. He is not from a poor family. So those who think it is only from the rewards of militancy that he made his money are just kidding themselves. |
Queendo: @stagger plsss can i get the manual on meetteteluv@yahoo.com am kinda interested in knowing more tnx abefeglobal: for God sake sir ,i am still waiting to hear from you concerning the manual .kindly let me know the mode of payment so i can arrange for that my email is abefeglobalservices@gmail.com thanks may the Lord be with you sir . Nairalanders sef! He is yet to be charged or tried and many have pronounced him guilty. Nonsense. |
Read this thread from start to finish to get all the information you want. https://www.nairaland.com/466673/n500k-enough-start-kerosene-supply. |
Justice well served. Supreme court has spoken well. How can a Naval officer who should have reserved his bullets for Boko Haram bastards kill an innocent okada man just because he scratched his car? Let him go to where he will be analized daily by savages in Kiri Kiri. Nonsense. |
mu2sa2: Sometimes silence is gold. If peace has returned to Yobe why are more troops being deployed there?Let me help you out. WE NEED MORE TROOPS TO COVER EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY OF THESE STATES TO KILL THE BOKITES, THEIR SUPPORTERS, THEIR WIVES, CHILDREN (BORN AND UNBORN), CATTLE, ETC. People need to be real afraid of the Naija army. We need Americans to hear of the Nigerian Army and shudder at how efficient they are in mass slaughter. The US needs to learn from us how to deal with such insurgency in months, not years. Are you clear now? |
Bad gyal! |
I say gun down the DPO. Fucking bastard bitch! |
Late Gbolahan Mudashiru was an Air Commodore (Air Force equivalent of a Brigadier) and not a Commodore (Naval equivalent of Colonel). These guys should get their facts straight. |
Na wa o. So that spot that has been fixed countless times still floods? |
