garri_gangster: Pastor Chris Okotie and many of your men of God are divorcees. SoAnd so God will deal with them according to His word which clearly stipulates that bishops should be married to one woman (1 Timnothy 3 verse 2). Pastors who flout laws adultery are not immune from anything, and you will do well not to copy their example. |
yinkuse: Can u pls assist a sister that is urgently in need of a job?I recently helped some people get work in one of the new Federal universities, but recruitments there have ended. What skills does she have and where does she want to work? That will help me know how to approach her issue. Let us start from there. |
manny4life: He's not advising on Christian matter but merely saying the obvious truth. You know when last I gave tithes to church? I rather donate my money to those who need than give my hard earned money to pastors who buy $500 suit.1) I pay tithes AND I give MASSIVELY to not just the needy but to the destitute and all who are associated with me. I have always paid my workers a 13th month, give them rice, chicken and a box of Indomie for as long as I can remember. I give out clothes to my gatemen as their inheritance (non-negotiable). Every December I go home, there are families who are fed three times a day from my house. And guess what? My money continues to enlarge! Telling me to stop paying tithes is not going to work because I have proved that scripture and it works! I have a colleague who argues against tithes and still can afford to spend hundreds of thousands of naira on women. He will go to hell if he continues and I have told him so severally. 2) John Okafor as far as I know, divorced his first wife and is living with another woman. THAT IS CLEAR CUT ADULTERY and he is on his way to hell. God says, I know my sheep and My sheep know Me. John quoting Jesus in his post is a noisemaker. He is very far from God as long as he lives with that strange woman. 3) A bishop must be the husband of one wife (1 Timothy 3 verse 2). It is for this reason that I can NEVER be a part of Kris Okoite's church because he has flouted God's law on this issue. Good for him that he has withdrawn himself from that adulterous relationship, but the moment he goes on to marry another woman again, he will be judged by God himself based on the bible he preaches from. I am in Winners and my spiritual fathers are husbands of one wife! So saying "my pastors" is a total lie. Kris Okotie is not my pastor. For the same reason, I stopped listening to Paula Whyte and I stopped giving to her ministry long ago. God's word is clear on a lot of issues. |
Sign Fireman na pastor? God pass devil abeg! |
Ha hahahahahaha! Of all people, na this Ibu I go listen to? God forbid bad thing! Ibu, you are presently living in adultery! What did the bible say about a man that divorces his wife and marries another while the wife is yet living? A CANDIDATE OF HELL GIVING ADVICE ON CHRISTIAN MATTERS! Nonsense! |
ipswitch: Yes all of you are excited about shiloh and i ve got no problem with that. Only make sure that you also prepare your soul for heaven. I ve watched most of your shiloh dvd and the messages you people are saturated with there are mostly of earthly gain. Sermons that talks about preparation for heaven are very scarce in shiloh. Whatever you are acquiring in life, preparation for where you ll spend eternity remains the uppermost. From all i can gather from your posts here you people are excited about shiloh because of one earthly gain or the other you have been blessed with through it. Remembrr, Jesus is coming soon. Spend more time to pray for heavenly preparation in this shiloh than praying for all these earthly gains. God bless you all.Mr man, it is your type that steal from the government with the pen and come back to start criticizing. I have met many of you and I had cause to talk to one of my friends who was being asked to approve inflated out of pocket expenses in a government agency. Many of you critics are on your way to hell. Settle your own lives first. When last did you pay tax to the Federal Government of Nigeria? |
RedReact: Please, can u help me with the channel and the frequency on which the channel sits. I used to get it before my decoder got problem. Now, I can't get it again.Go to domi.org.ng and click on Flash Low. An MTN modem will do the work for you just fine. |
Time was when I used to fear going back to the village. Now I know better who should be the one doing the fearing. Power pass power! |
Anyone who cannot live by simple rules of an institution has no business in that institution. Simple. |
That report is false. It was simple a transformer that blew. |
teetee123: Brother you don really vex. If u have to reply all these NL comments you will lose focus. I like you opening statement, many thought attending Shiloh is to go and look for an ATM god.Shiloh is a place to go and look for God, not to look for money. Even if I was so broke, which is easier for me? I have friends I can collect N300,000 from and they will give me without blinking...DASH not even loan. So for me, Shiloh is not and can never be about money. Money answers to certain principles and that is why anyone who unlocks the code can become very rich. God is after people's hearts and wants people to come first to Him and put Him as no. 1: everything else na jara! Come first into His presence, and then you can now see the pleasures that are at His right hand. That is the summary of Shiloh! |
modicum: Contractor of doom!Hungry man, come and be fed. It is always better to be the feeder than to be the fed. So Mr modicum, if you need money say so. There are many Winners who can help you out (myself included). |
modicum: Sorry,OLEDEPO'S mouth-piece.God's money my arse! To run the economy of heaven and earth abi?I am nobody's mouthpiece. The problem is YOU ARE HUNGRY! That is why the numbers are making you angry. Come to Abuja and take a contract to satisfy you. When you are busy you won't have time to be calculating another person's money! |
modicum: SHILOH 2012: Money making calculations. And this is how we know those who are hungry. Why not calculate YOUR OWN cash flow and take your eyes away from God's money? Oh, I forgot. You probably have none. |
Logicboy03: You couldnt even see the logic in what he said. You are blinded by religious brainwashing.Mr Logic, In Europe where I lived for 3 years before coming back to Naija, it is the responsibility of the state to provide amenities and take care of citizens. Religious organizations are not taxed, and nobody gives a damn about what they do because the onus of citizen welfare is on the government. You pay your tax, the government does the rest. Food is the cheapest item in Europe. Go to the market and check the price of food in Naija. No rail lines, bad roads, and no petrol anywhere. Go and see the queues. Do we have a government? The failure of government has beset our people with all manner of trouble, which is why they seek the face of God to help them through life. God said to man: be fruitful and have dominion. The white men have dominated their environment. They hold their governments accountable. Here in Nigeria, we have fools asking Bishop Oyedepo to build roads and take care of the poor. THE MONEY CARTED AWAY IN THE PETROLEUM SECTOR IN NIGERIA CAN PAY FOR A COMPREHENSIVE SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICE FOR ALL NIGERIAN CITIZENS WHO ARE OLD OR OUT OF WORK. Now a guy came here citing the example of Germany. Ask him if there is ever power failure in Germany. Is it the work of the church? Rather we even have churches now having to assist the government with infrastructure. So is it because of the church that there is rising unemployment and all what not? IT IS BECAUSE OF YOUR BAD LEADERS, and Mr Logic will still be running after the same politicians for contracts. |
Emperoh: From Nigerian experienceWell, Thanks for this. This adds another dimension to the info I already have. From all I have inquired of several persons, I have been able to identify the following: a) I have to tow the vehicle from the port to the mechanics. b) No starting of the vehicle until transmission, oil, fuel and all vulnerable fluids are drained. c) I probably have to strip the interior. d) I am pretty sure I may have to invest in changing the ECU/ECM. e) The entire wiring may have to be looked at. I am also concerned about the power windows, central lock, etc. Anyway, until I see the vehicle's latest pics and see it live, I will not really know. More info is welcome. |
cramjones:This is Nigeria not Germany. If that is where you live, then good for you. Tell us how you cope when they call you "SCHWARZEN AFFEN". I won't be surprised they call you that because of the way you think and talk. You think you can come here and just be talking rubbish? Did any Winner come to your house to beg for money to print flyers or to transport themselves to Shiloh? You think true Winners are poor people? You think we don't give? Because we do not carry TV cameras everywhere we go? I know your type: you are a hungry frustrated guy living in Europe who cannot afford to come back for shame. If you need money to transport yourself back home, simply say so. Personally I can give you one small job to rehabilitate yourself. |
cramjones: SPIRITUAL REFRESHING MY FOOT....AND YOU ARE HERE POURING OUT INSULTS....HAVE YOU EVER SEEN JESUS CALL SOMEONE A MONKEY? IS THAT WHAT THEY TEACH YOU IN SHILOH...IT STILL GOES TO SHOW THAT IT IS ALL A SCAM....IF SOMEONE THAT IS GOING FOR SPIRITUAL REFRESHING IS ADVOCATING I COMMIT SUICIDE.....SMH FOR THESE BRAINWASHED PEOPLE CALLED WINNERSJohn called the Pharisees a brood of vipers and Jesus called them whited sepulchres! Because that was what they were. Monkeys do not reason like human beings and that is why they are monkeys. So when you reason like one, then your brain can be described as a monkey brain because of the thought process. Even the above post shows you have a problem assimilating information. So what else can we say? |
Aifey: This is nt the first neither will it b d last shilo. People are bein diuped in double portion. Nigerians are so gullible 2fake, no body wants 2work but they want money. Oyedokpo is scamer. No different wit a yahoo boy.Explain the "scam" to us here. People use words without knowing the meaning. What does scam mean? |
cramjones: STUPIDITY IS WHEN YOU GIVE ALL YOUR SALARY TO SHILOH YET KNOW POOR OR SICK PEOPLE WHO REALLY NEEDS IT!!!Then why are you on this thread if you are not going to Shiloh? People go there for SPIRITUAL REFRESHING, not for money. If I want money, I have businesses that give me that. Anthropoids like you think we go there simply to collect money as if God is a slot machine. For someone like me, I need other things and not money because money has ceased to be my problem. If your eye dey pain you say people dey go Shiloh, you can look for the nearest high tension cable and kill yourself, because Shiloh will not stop, it will not end, and people will keep getting blessed. AND THERE IS NOTHING YOUR MONKEY BRAIN CAN DO ABOUT THAT! |
Helpful. But we could do with more please, especially when I know that flood is a perennial problem in Lagos and I always see flood damage to vehicles in Lagos when I am there in June/July. SO surely, there must be more information. |
jackbauersballs: Igbos cheating at Friendly games as well?Shut up my friend. I have a friend who is Ghanaian and who has won gold three years in a row for the state in the South South which he represents. Na today? |
Mr Ibu is just downright annoying. I hate his films and I have stopped watching since. I really fail to see the comedy in all that stuff. Nkem Owoh on the other hand is a true comedian. |
Unfortunately, the political structure in Nigeria has made the LGs subservient to the state governors. So unless you go and start licking Sullivan Chime's boots from now on, you are wasting time. Find one project to do in his own local government to get his attention. This will prove that your loyalty to him is assured once you get in. You are going to have to spend money to get your name and face known. Make no mistake about this. |
^^^ Thanks for the tips. I will need a good mechanic in Lagos who can sort the vehicle out on arrival. |
OP, why not go to a native doctor and ask him whether the alligator pepper he uses for his stuff is right or wrong? It is on Nairaland that you want to get answers to a spiritual mystery. You no get bible? |
As we all know, many of use have cars which were at the Bayonne port, New Jersey when Hurricane Sandy struck, and Auctionexport has decided to ship the vehicles to the respective owners in Nigeria using consolidated containerized transport from Grimaldi. SO can the car experts tell us where in Lagos one can get a complete overhaul on a flood-damaged vehicle can be done, in case one decides to fix up the car and use it for maybe 2 years before replacement? This thread will help a lot of people if it gets to front page. Moderator and car experts like Siena, over to you. |
OP, Citing the example you gave, honouring one's parents means that when they make such hefty demands on you, you find a way to assuage them without being rude or cocky or shouting at them. That is part of the skill. |
