How does saying: Look, "I guarantee that my son will come back to face his trial when he returns from abroad" constitute interference in the trial process? Who better to stand surety than the guy's own father who is the Chairman of PDP? Is it another person we don't know that will stand surety? The kind of junk journalism we have in Nigeria is just appalling. |
Babalegba: Does anybody really know if Dangote has the sole right to import certain essential commodities into the country because if he has it as people allege then DAngote is not really an astute business man as people claim but an immoral prat who aligned with the oppressors of his brothers to make money that he cannot make use of on his lifetime and also have the guile to pretend to people that he is their helper while impoverishing them. Nigerians are a joke when it comes to their pick and mix religion, the way they go on about money , you would think it was the rich man who went to heaven and not the poor man.OBJ blocked off other cement importers like Ibeto Cement so Dangote had the sole right to import unbagged cement into the country. But you know, he was already a rich man so this was not the case when he made his money. Besides, he repaid the N50,000 loan his uncle gave him within months so I would say he was kind of astute in that respect. And he was visionary too. He built an engine room that can run his business whether or not Dangote is around. You cannot take that away from him. |
blink182: I am not, he made no mistake. I know who stagger is, he has a penchant for being a nuisance. The next thing to expect from him are threats. Really want to meet him in person so we know who should be threatening who.Who wants to meet a monkey like you in person? Do humans and monkeys have any basis for interaction? You are a son of a LovePeddler for insulting my dad! Foo.l. Just pray never to cross me in real life before I send my boys to deal with you. Nonsense! |
Wore mine for the first year and stopped as I was reacting to the material. I always react to jewelry, bet it watches or chains so I just don't wear them. I will start though as my wife has recently threatened to stop wearing hers: I can't have all those prying Abuja men causing me problems. |
PapaBrowne: Why is Lagos always using interlocking stones to build roads? Is there scarcity of bitumen in the state??Marshy soil cannot support bitumen/asphalt roads; they will suffer pavement failure in months. That is why interlocking stones that promote natural drainage is used in Lagos and other coastal cities. |
No one can be successful in business without making mistakes. That is why it is called the University of Hard Knocks. |
OP, Your stories are too much. Simply ask for advice on how to get your money and it will be given to you. Firstly, all banks have a software that tells them whether cash was dispensed by the machine or not. This is irrespective of whether your account was shown as debited. Don't let any banker try to manipulate you; they only work with people's ignorance. Secondly, go to your bank and fill the complaints form about undispensed cash. Your bank will liaise with the branch where this occurred, First Bank will look at that software, confirm that cash was not dispensed against your transaction and they will refund your money. The process will take 10 working days. So go to your bank TODAY and fill that form. |
blink182: The difference is that your dad wasn't dynamic enough, didn't connect himself to a strong network of friends-influential, dangote has always added value and solved massive massive problems, finally for now, its not about the money, its about enjoying what you do, when you start businesses because of money and not a passion to add value, you get stiffled out when challenges pile up and in nigeria, it is one problem to another. Dangote leverages massively, I doubt your dad ever leveraged, no one ever became rich by using just their money.Dangote's uncle was Alhaji Dantata. This was the man who gave Dangote N50,000 to start business in 1977 when my own father's salary was N500, and we had everything we wanted with my dad as sole breadwinner on N500! So you can imagine the value of N50,000 then. You need to go and research into Alhaji Dantata and how rich and connected the Dantata family have been in Kano and Northern Nigeria since the 60s. When you do, perhaps your head can be cleared of all the cobwebs making you post such an arrogantly worded but ignorant post here. |
As for me, I brush my tongue (I mean the whole lenght of it, especially the back) thoroughly with my hard bristle brush. I also make sure I have my orbit chewing gum, as I am told that the more saliva in your mouth, the fresher your breath. I also drink lots of water to prevent my mouth from drying up. Dry mouths smell. Works for me and I don't have a single problem. |
God removed his hand from matchmaking after Adam told him "it was the woman you gave to me that gave me of the fruit and I did eat". Now it is a man's job to go around, look for a woman, toast her and marry her. Simple. |
I am sure he had well armed bodyguards, otherwise there is no way he would wear all that ice on his neck and not risk being robbed. |
samfibby: Its hi-time the north also look into the minibg sector, i worked for two years in the mines, there are several precious stones and minerals waiting to be tapped. How can we do business? Would like to speak with you. |
So what stopped Kano state from continuing with the groundnut pyramids, as well as other Northern states from growing cotton and other agricultural cash crops? I am from the Niger Delta, but I must say that I am also not comfortable with the derivation formula. It has only served to enrich the politicians of these states and the governors through contract awards. When the oil wells dry up, it will catch these states unprepared. As it is, most Niger Delta youths are already too lazy and always want companies doing business in the region to employ them. When oil dries up, these companies will pack their bags and disappear and then what will happen? The Northern states are actually better positioned for this reality but they do not seem to realize this. |
Op, the religious issue thing for me is not a big deal. Let her go to her church while you go to yours. I am more concerned with that randy he-goat of an ex-lover who is a reverend father. Right now, my priority would be to seriously f*** the guy up. I had once threatened an immigration guy who got my wife's number from her passport renewal application and told him he was trying to catch falling knives by trying to call my wife at night. The danger with falling knives, is that they could end up cutting off the catcher's balls, and I made sure the dude had to understand the message. I will not be surprised if this reverend father lover boy is behind this nonsense. |
She catholic and you Anglican: not a good reason for divorce. If one of you was muslim and the other Christian, that would have been different because the two are too diametrically opposed to each other. My wife and I attended different churches for a while, before we eventually started attending a brand new one, together. No big deal. Focus on having children and then move on with your life. Stop the late night calls by calling the reverend father in question and threatening to expose him. Last I checked, catholic priests are supposed to be celibate. On that particular one, you must stamp your foot down as the man in the house. No bagger dares call my wife late at night; im chop craze? |
There are churches I personally would not step into under any circumstance. So what is the big deal? |
Is America better than your father's village? I am proudly Nigerian and I thank God for my parents who named us all with Nigerian names. According to my dad, you can never hear a white American answering Preye or Oluwaseun or Obinna. So why should I answer a foreign name, or even want to be associated with another country's anthem? |
Look, there is no need for all this hullabaloo. As a Christian, I cannot enter a mosque. Islam considers it haram, just the way it considers it haram for a muslim to enter a church because they believe it is not a sacred place. Only mosques are considered sacred, and even at that, there are levels of sacredness with mosques at the Kabba, Jerusalem and Medina being the most sacred mosques in Islam. The Consular-General is only being a true muslim. |
Dis Guy: erm personal information, what sort of personal information can someone get from taking a picture with you in it ?A journalist had once published a very defamatory article about my wife, and journalists published a story that caused a problem between my dad and one of his longtime friends that remains unresolved 15 years after. I hate journalists. They have a way of twisting the truth. Then just like Reuben Abati and a few of them I know, when they get government appointments, they start singing a different song. So journalist, next time you take Stagger's picture anywhere without his permission, be sure that his boys will make you damaged goods. Now about that Uwalaka fellow, is it that we can no longer respect the dead and the sensitivity of their relatives? DID THE FOOL NEED TO GO SNAPPING PICS OF CHARRED CORPSES AT A TIME WHEN TEMPERS OVER THE WAY THE DANA AIR CRASH ISSUE HAS BEEN HANDLED WERE STILL BOILING? I think he got what was coming to him. |
If some journalist takes my picture without my permission, he is very likely to get very hurt. We live in a world where people like to sell people's personal info for money. Imagine where a member of the crew on location brought out her camera phone and began to film an amorous scene featuring Mercy Johnson. Tell me, WTF was that lady trying to do filming Mercy Johnson, if not to sell the picture to some soft sell publication for them to start selling their junk stories? |
OP, If I were you, I would craftily get the phone owner's address, and cut his dick and make him eat it with palm oil. Then I will go to the cheating slut and make her eat the remnants of the other guy's dick. Girls of today are very dangerous and dastardly. They are not to be trusted at all. |
I can put you through on this for a small consultancy fee. |
ibsmooth: You dislike Islam and its practice for what reasons?Boko haram or terrorism come to my mind.I say you re miopic in ur thinking.Christianity which I believe you belong to introduced terrorism.I will tell u @ d appropiate time.what christians have committed in last 2000years,muslims can't do a quarter of it for 20000 yaers to come.Think of it,you guys always say Islam tells her followers to kill and go to heaven, pls quote that verse to me,you will see that most christians who literally are sun worshipers courtesy of Julius ceaser's introduction to their faith knows virtually nothing about what they do and by extention islam.your DIRTY BOOK called BIBLE with several authors who sat with the then pegans of rome has more of incitement than the qur'an.This is a fact backed by even christians missionaries.your religion has more criminals, terrorists, prostitutes, serial killers, homicides, bank thieves, killers(world war 1 and 2)smokers,drunkers,nudity dressing, drug lords than all religion combined.those that means the bible direct them to do it.I will teach you ur fuckin religion better because most christians re ignorant and sentimental about their religion.Useless people.we av kept quite for long and now we wl expose those verses that u really don't know.PRIVATISE RELIGION AND IDOL WORSHIPERS(CROSS)My friend, shut up your mouth and stop causing trouble here. I have muslims as friends and employees and many of them think straight and are highly mature people. In the same vein, there are also Christians who profess the faith but their lifestyles are at complete variance with what the bible teaches (such as the so-called crusaders of the 10th to 12th centuries who killed innocent people in the name of God). The approach is to practise your religion the way you know is best that will take you to heaven and stop attacking another religion or its Holy Book which you know nothing about. Besides, with the kind of foul language you are spewing out, has the Ramadan fast helped you or you are just a fake? |
Abiodun oluseun: Am a military man serving in abj. Av 300,000. Wot biz do i go 4Kubwa is very accessible via the express from any of the barracks to start a car wash with 300k and if there is any problem, you can leave your haven and hit your rendezvous point india mike mike without delay. |
My house in FCT has had light for 7 days without break. My village house has hd light for four days now without break and counting. Enjoy it while it lasts. I remember we were told that Egbi power station would bring uninterrupted power supply. The best bet is to sell all the PHCN companies to private companies so that the equipment are maintained and we do not have cases of turbines breaking down for 3,4,5,6 years without repair. |
I pay tithe because of my interpretation of the relevant scriptures. My brother does not pay tithe and I can tell you that his generosity and selflessness when it comes to giving is unparalleled by anyone in my family. In fact, I am even ashamed of my giving when compared to him. Now picture this: my mum was to have surgery some time ago and her fellow "Christians" all refused to donate blood. It turned out that one of my friends who is actually gay donated blood to her and she went through that surgery and lived. Paying of tithe alone is not enough to take anyone into heaven, and I do not believe it is a prerequisite for entrance to heaven. Read the story of the prayer of the sinner and the Pharisee in Luke 18 verses 9 to 14 and let that be a guiding principle to all of us, whether we pay tithe or not. "To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Parisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men — robbers, evildoers, adulterers — or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get." That Pharisee paid tithe, but his prayer of arrogance nullified everything he had done and he was destined for hell. So whether or not you believe in tithe, or however you decide it should be paid, is a matter that everyone should pray to God for interpretation on how to proceed. That is my take on this. |
What a miss. |
Foolish governor. Doesn't he know he should wear a concealable vest and not expose to would-be assailants that his entire upper chest, neck and head are exposed? Even level IIIA and Level III ballistic vests can be ripped clean by a bullet from a Dragunov sniper rifle. Some of these our leaders have no brains. |
What a story. Fact is: can the driver prove he had N100,000 in the car? NO! Even if Davido beat him up, the driver should know that nothing will come out of it. This is Naija. He should have just taken his car key and zapped. Finally if it is true that Davido beat the taxi driver up, then the driver should go to court and seek redress. That is his only option. |
I have always eaten African swallow with my fingers, whether in public or private. What the hell is wrong with that? I am appalled at all these attempts to Westernize Africans, meanwhile a typical Westerner treat Africans like dirt. What in the world is supposed to be wrong with eating swallow with the fingers? ![]() |
Toaskarity: "That God that answereth by Fire~ will beYou are very stupid. Did you witness the wars of independence in the former Yugoslavia between 1991 and 1995 before talking this rubbish? Too many immature kids on Nairaland who think with their rear ends. |
This particular goat don wise up o! Haaa! See levels! |
