@ Stagger - If you really are considering trading indices, you won't regret it. It trends better than forex and believe it or not between lunch time last friday to now there's been a 700 pips movement on the DOW and 250 on the DAX.

How much does one need to start with, considering the volatility and all for indexes? And is there any particular reason you chose the ones you are trading aside from some reasons I was able to gather from your posts?

My trading platform has the US, European and Asian indices; almost all of them so I have a wide range of choice.
