Honestly, no matter how functional your application is, once HR sees it and the looks are horrible, they will trash your CV. A Dev might know a good functional application but Devs aren't involved in the hiring process till the late stages. You aren't selling yourself with ugly websites honestly no matter the functionality inside it.

I am a backend developer that is why I spoke so. I only apply for backend job and good recruiter knows exactly where to look.
If you’re applying for a frontend role then frontend should look close to real life, I supported what you said but saying it from my perspective as backend Dev

Please for the love of God stop coding sites from your head. You aren't doing yourself any good. If you don't have design skills, visit dribble or clone popular websites instead. If this is on your CV, you will hardly get any calls for interviews.

I subscribe to this idea. Same way I currently work, I take a look at real life web app and pick inspiration from them. When I finish coding my backend I always want to ask myself if this app can function In the real world.

Well OP your website is nice if you’re starting out and it is a pointer you’re getting closer to the real world. I will suggest your next web application frontend design should look more close to what is usable in the real world.

Definitely, you have to quit something you don’t like, don’t let anyone talk things into your head.
When you actually don’t fit into a place there is always a cold feeling you have.
Just like when a fish is on the land, no matter what you try to do, getting back into water will be the ultimate solution.

Now here are some reasons why you shouldn’t leave.

If your lack of comfort ain’t anything related to the Job Per se because many time wobbling feelings sometimes comes from other source e.g
Mid-life crisis
Social issues
Temperamental issues

In other words, the issues are personal issues and not anything linked to the job but they just affect you as a person. The only solution is to go for counseling treatment and find help.

Second reason is you’re learning, many time bad feelings are as a result of not having just enough experience to perform smoothly and if this is the issue I advise you turn on your learning spirit and be patient, things will get better as you begin to find experience.

Lastly, if such job gives you an environment to grow and develop your personal skills. Most jobs don’t give you room or breathing space to do any self improvement, you only work and work and then go home tired. But if you get a job flexible enough. Good morning all, so I started learning web development in January, so far I've done HTML, CSS, JavaScript, bootstrap and a little jquery.

It has been a bumper to bumper journey hence my ability to cover them in a short while, I've also had school exams to contend with within this period.

I don't sleep all night and I code for at least 7hours a day all things being eqaul like light and data, there have been some challenges like data, phone(I don't have a good phone) and the rest of them.

I believe so much in practice so every week I try to build something new and different, so last night I was able to host my projects on github. I realized that a project might look perfect on the console but different when its live, I noticed some errors which I'm trying to correct though github navigation can be tricky for a newbie.

The last link was my first project and the mobile version showed me hell because of the tables and was what drove me to bootstrap. The projects are just basics and I hope to improve on them with time.

Please, I am a total noob in anything computer related and I would like to know if this pc's would components would be enough for me...

Nvidia Titan V graphics card (16 Gb)

4Tb ssd (and another empty ssd slot)
