It's HIGH time we win this Afcon, although we have been crowned champions thrice in 1980, 1994, 2013 respectively, we really have underachieved... Losing finalist in 84, 88, 90, 2000 3rd place - 76, 78, 92, 02, 04, 06, 2010 We won in 94' , and could have won a hatrick with arguably one of our best Teams and era's, We were really in the best shape of our lives with the 94' team, no 4 in the world and was very evident in our Gold medal at the 96' Olympics, but we withdrew the 96' tourney, and was subsequently banned in 1998, when we came back in the year 2000 we came 2nd'... Now we have a really good set of players, alot of promising prospects coming up and a very competitive u23 team....A lot of our boys are doing well at the moments, chukwueze, onyekuru, osihmen, omeruo, Ndidi .... Every one on this thread is criticing the whole TEAM, Nobody is saying they are playing fine, but outrightly "swearing for them", wishing them badluck nd preaching doom for them is totally uncalled for abeg, I'm sick nd tired of seeing you fold your hands jejely somewhere, not giving 1 fuxks about the team, not even gonna watch a match, nd yet u wish them badluck, you wish them to fall, to be disgraced why ?
