You are simply hitting your head on the rock of truth and since you can not counter you cheaply resorted to false accusations.

Any who God has qualified is qualified! Be it man or woman.

Shikena!
you are the one splitting your head over truth twisting and changing meaning of words.

Na wa, is this how you are? I have been civil to you, now you have been going off point and changing posts even your last post was a change of post and off point, not the issue yet I indulged you for I thought you honourable.

And I know you know the anyone I was referring to as every Christian knows and as such would not raise what you just raised, for it is ridiculous and downright stupid and now you accuse me falsely and wrongly.

For where is the twist in pointing what every learner Christian knows.

Wow! No difference between you and the atheists who do this.
I spoke the truth, when you said God can use "anyone" how do you now change the meaning of "anyone"?
No every learner Christian does not know what you mean by "anyone"?
There are guidelines on choosing an elder or bishop in the church not just anyone one can become an elder or a pastor.
Don't get me wrong I don't think a woman can never ever be a leader in church but not over a man. The role is primarily for men and a man should never be side stepped for a woman that is what Paul meant by usurped authority over a man.

There was no implication.

I spoke to the issue you raised in Timothy as your ground and showed you he was speaking as he opined and purposely, knowing God can use anyone. So he spoke carefully as a Lawyer would.

You chose to raise authority which as I answered you is not in issue. For I didn't question Paul's authority so your raising it is off point.
God does not use just anyone, sorry he is true to his word. When it comes to being a pastor or bishop there are requirements.

Submit is not domination which is my case.

Respectfully, Paul's authority is not in issue so there is nothing to address here.
In the world leadership might be about domination but not the kind of leadership God institute for his church.
No, you implied it.
Paul also, said 'I' in the verse below, does it also mean it is just his personal opinion?

1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

When Paul use the word 'I say' it means it is not a direct command from the Lord but it is in line with the will of the Lord.

True! But i think ye appreciate that the domination by politicians cannot be compared to the sweet and gentle and friendly domination which christ exerted over His disciples hence the parable of the servant who treated his fellow seevants wickedly and harshly. Mathew 24:48-51

Truth is Leaders have power and they dominate (rule) but, there are good leaders and 98% of people are evil leaders, both male and female.
christ have the power to dominate us but he does not do so, the same thing with a husband though he has authority over his wife but he does not dominatinate her, this is kingdom leadership. Leadership in the kingdom is an opportunity to serve and self sacrifice, it is not an opportunity for oppression and dominating.
The leadership of the world is not the example a Christian should follow but christ.

Note that Paul stated "I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet."

Meaning his opinion on the matter and not God's. For he very well knows God can use anyone even babes as He pleases, as He used Deborah and no man could fault God's choice.

Men do not have dominion over a woman, women simply fell from their place due to their sins which has given the men the advantage. But all it takes is for a woman to be righteous from her youth up and you would find no man has any advantage over her.
if a woman is righteous she would know that she ought to submit to the leadership of her husband.

Paul as an apostle had the authority to speak and set doctrine for the church, as you can see below.
1 Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not; ) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

A Leader dominates.
That is for worldly leadership not Christian leadership.

Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Going through my opinion again, I'm not sure I made the impression that men and women are equal.
I thank God you Said your opinions, however, you got it all wrong about Christian leadership. It is not about being domineering it is about care and direction as well as service for the good and well being of the church or family as the case maybe.
Secondly, you were wrong that Adam only became the leader as a result of sin, no, God made Adam and held him responsible and it was not the man that was created for the woman but the woman was created for the man. 1cor 11vv9.
Thirdly, leadership in the church and family is primarily for the males, this is to reflect God's original order which is God- man- woman, even in the church and family it is God- christ- the man - woman, it has nothing to do with education status or wealth or other worldly qualification.
After Adam and eve sinned the leadership of a man became a quest to constantly subdue the woman because man became a fallen creature as well as woman.
But that curse is removed when the man is subject to christ as well as the woman, that is why Christians are advised not to marry unbelievers because unbelievers are not subject to christ.

If a man has many wives, he is not committing adultery by having sex with those wives of his.

Two major things that validate marriage are consent, payment of bride price and many people bearing witness to the marriage. As long as the man fulfills those things for each of his wives, he having sex with them is not adultery unless he slept with them before fulfilling those things.
In Christianity, we are returning to the original design of marriage, how can you a born again Christian indulge in polygamy?
As a Christian we called to be christlike to follow and do the perfect will of God, if this is not your desire then you are not a Christian.

Last point.
Someone will ask: But if men are not supposed to dominate women in church positions, then why is the list of the prominent people in the Bible made up of men mostly? The Disciples, Apostles, Prophets, etc. etc.

My reply:
First and foremost, it's established that men and women have different physical and emotional/mental characteristics.

Therefore men are supposed to dominate women in positions that require manly characteristics.
If a woman has the kind of characteristics needed in a certain position, then let no man stop her because of her gender.

Always keep this little quacky definition with you:
Man = Physically Built and Daring
Woman = Emotionally Built and Caring.

When you look at the disciples for instance, it looks all biased when Jesus was picking men, till you realize that those disciples were to pass through very tough times later on and it will demand the kind of vessel (body) that can endure so much without breaking down emotionally.
Same thing applies to other prominent men in the Bible.
And even then, you'll see that some exceptional women that were better for the job got their rightful positions, like Deborah the Judge (Ruler) of Israel, Esther the Liberator, Mary Magdalene the Disciple, Deborah the Prophetess, Junia the Apostle etc. etc.
And hold into account that more unrecorded stories exist.

Women have always stood as the device that make things work.
There'd have been no Jesus without a Mary. In essence, no man without a woman.

In the Jewish culture back then. It was an honour for a woman not to be seen as a loud and orative figure... Paul noted that it was wise for a woman to keep quiet in church.
Also because men were given more education than women, and a woman would generally not have to capacity to flow in a discussion with men who had far more advantage in knowledge over her.
This is why most preachers were males.
You also see the Bible record instances where a woman learned enough to the the point where she preached as well.

So, if there's a position in the church preacher or cleaner, anyone with the right characteristics can handle it, male or female.

In summary, the person fit for a position isn't to be rejected based on gender.

Thanks for caring/daring to read. cheesy
same feminism nonsense who told you Paul said women should keep quiet because the women were less educated?
The reason why a man is preferred to be a pastor is explicitly stated 1 tim 2vv12, it is not because of lack of education it is because a woman is not suppose to exercise authority over a man.
Deborah became a judge over Israel because Israel has fallen, it was a judgment on Israel, and moreover, the church is not Israel, Israel had kings that were polygamous but a church is not to have a polygamous man as overseer it has nothing to do with education or status.

Hello Nairaland,
Let's deliberate on this. smiley
We live in an era where there's a rise in The Feminist movement, resulting from decades of gender inequality across different fields, and from gender abuse — amongst other things.
Strong arguments have been made regarding gender abuse, that it is indeed bad and should stop, and that some forms of gender inequality should also end, but that in general, men can never be equal to women.
Medical opinions have shown that the bone of an average woman is more porous than that of an average man, and hence, less dense, lighter and weaker than that of the average man.
Researches have also concluded that on average, a woman's brain is more efficient than that of a man, even though it is smaller in size. That is to say, women are generally smarter than men on average.
And the arguments on the differences b/w men and women keep on going on and on...

But there's also much gender bias in Churchy matters — where a very little amount of women rise to become Dignitaries in most Church Assemblies.
This is why we want to deliberate on this.

Did God Actually Give Man Dominion Over Woman?
Did God Tell Males To Dominate The Females?
Are Men Overdoing Themselves And Exerting Unnecessary Authority Over Women?

Please air your opinions based on your understanding and knowledge of God, backed by supporting Scriptures.

I as OP will contribute too and we'll all deliberate. wink
The error in this taught process is the view that leadership is about dominating others, God made Adam to be a leader how do we know that, when Adam and eve sin who did God hold responsible? Who first recieve the command directly by God?

God placed Man as a leader that is why he is held accountable even though it was the woman that was decieved and first disobeyed.

Both Adam and eve had the authority to subdue the earth but Adam was the leader and eve was his help meet.

After they sinned, that leadership was turned to be about ruling the woman.

So the original other is, God-man-woman. This is not as a result of sin at all.
You see in the New Testament we go back to the original design before the fall, which is a man is to have one wife and a man should be a leader of his own family mirroring Christ and the church, this is God's original plan for the propagation of the human race.

The only reason why I have been replying you is for other people who visit this thread. If you choose to hold on tightly to the doctrines you imbibed in your church over the years, go ahead. God is doing a new thing. Old understandings or doctrines will not lead to the manifestation of the sons of God that is about to begin. When a human being lives by the Holy Spirit, the human being and God become one. Jesus was the first human, after the fall of man, to ever live by the Holy Spirit. That was why his claim of being one with God was so strange to the Jews of his time. If a Christian of today dares to consistently live by the Holy Spirit, s/he becomes one with the Father.

Ro. 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
Ro. 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Ro. 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. [Or adoption] And by him we cry, “Abba, [Aramaic for Father] Father.”
Ro. 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
Ro. 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
You claim the word possessed Jesus? That means according to you Jesus is not the word?
Whether you like it or not doctrines matters and it is the most important.
Don't try and dodge according to you Jesus is just the flesh? So when the Jesus Said I and my father are one what does he mean

Jn. 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

The Word possessed Jesus (Jn. 1:14). In Jn. 8:23, it is the Holy Spirit (the Word) speaking through the man Jesus. During the days of T. B. Joshua, you may have watched demons speaking through human beings on Emmanuel TV. The Jews knew that some spirit was working in Jesus and accused him of being possessed by Beelzebub, to which Jesus warned them about blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Mt. 12:22-32).
From one heresy to another.
I don't think you are seeing your contradiction, you claim Jesus is just the flesh and yet quoting Jesus saying he and the father are one. Forgetting that the verb " are" already means there are more than one entity. You are confused!

You have no idea of what you are saying. Jesus wasn't an earthly man at any time he has always being the man from heaven.

1Co. 15:49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

In August 2014, my two year old son was having acute malaria and my wife got frustrated with giving him medicine. In the night, he could not take the medicine my wife was giving him. Around 6 am the next morning, I was busy doing something and my nine year old daughter came to tell me that mommy needed my attention. Something in me made me to think that this may be urgent; so I went. On reaching my wife, I saw her holding our little son in her hands and he was suffering acute convulsion. In fact, he was almost gone. I quickly took my little son from my wife and began to say, "I give life to you through the Holy Spirit" (Ro. 8:11). By the time I said it a few times, my little son snapped out of convulsion with a loud breath, then he cried. I told my wife that she had to take him to a doctor that we know, but my wife went into the room and gave him the same malaria medication that he couldn't take the previous night; he easily took the malaria medicine and began to recover quickly. If I had not been able to give life to my little son through the Holy Spirit, I would have lost my son that early morning. Today, he is a junior secondary school student.

I am still at the beginning stage of rising from living soul to life-giving spirit and I already have experience of being a life-giving mortal. It is not difficult for me to know that I am headed towards becoming a life-giving spirit. What I have described here is just one of my experiences of giving life; I have others.
So you gave life to your son through the Holy Spirit not God, you are you own God then?
May God open your eyes and bring you out of this satanic deception.

I bet you didn't even read that scripture properly,

1Co. 15:49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

the earthly man is Adam and man from heaven is Jesus christ.
Paul is referring to the human nature of Jesus christ which at the resurrection Christian human nature would be changed to resemble christ own humanity. However, they would still be humans but a different human creature.
Christianity EtcChrist Consciousness by Steep(op): 7:20am On Apr 02, 2024
QUESTION
What is the Christ consciousness?
Christ consciousness
audio
ANSWER

The term Christ consciousness has gained popularity in recent years as celebrities and public figures claim that they have “found truth” in this form of spirituality. Those championing this idea sometimes call themselves Christians; however, their definition of the word Christian is far different from the biblical meaning. The name of the Lord Jesus Christ is used as a means of normalizing a religion which is nothing more than rebranded Eastern mysticism.

The Center for Christ Consciousness’s website defines Christ consciousness as “the highest state of intellectual development and emotional maturity.” They go on to claim that “Jesus achieved this [higher state of being] in his human life, and was given this term [Christ] before his name as the recognition of his achievement of this spiritual status. This path is open to anyone regardless of their religious tradition if and when he or she is open to become a living vessel of love and truth on the planet and actively strives to attain it.” Another site defines it this way: “Christ consciousness is the state of awareness of our true nature, our higher self, and our birthright as children of God.” It does not take much research to uncover the ancient roots of this idea. It is the same man-centered philosophy that is behind most religions.

So-called “Christ consciousness” has been known by various names in history, such as Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and most Eastern mystical religions. More recently, Deepak Chopra has popularized the “christianized” version of this same pseudo-spirituality. The danger in this latest version of mysticism is the use of Bible verses and Christian terms, which can easily lead astray those who don’t check the Scriptures for themselves.

The basic premise of mysticism is that man can, within himself, transcend physical existence and experience his own goodness as being “one” with the universe, being a god, or existing on whatever higher plane he chooses to believe in. The name of Jesus is merely used as a prop in this latest version of the same idea. Jesus is seen as the “leader” in showing us how to exalt our own inner goodness and, in doing so, make ourselves right with whatever deity we choose to acknowledge. Christ consciousness groups claim that Jesus earned the title “Christ” by perfectly channeling the divine consciousness we can all attain, and they attempt to attribute this philosophy to the Lord Jesus. Those championing this ideology are merely using the name of Jesus as a means of worshiping themselves. They desire to find absolution without repentance, confession of sin, or acknowledging Jesus’ substitutionary death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” This is true of the Christ consciousness movement. Self-designed salvation is merely repackaged under a different name, this time successfully duping those who desire parts of Christianity but not the whole. Invoking the name of Jesus soothes the consciences of those pricked by the truth of the Word of God. It allows followers to imagine they have achieved salvation by acknowledging Jesus in some way, while ignoring the parts of the gospel they find unappealing. People have always sought to pick and choose what they like from Jesus’ words, even when Jesus was upon the earth (see John 6:66).

So, is Christ consciousness a true form of Christianity? One site explains the Christ consciousness as “a level of awareness where you no longer see error in any action that you do or in any other human being, but see only the beauty and perfection in all things. For the Christ Consciousness does not judge, does not criticize, coerce, tempt[,] does not condone, does not react negatively.”

Is that what Jesus did and taught? The Scriptures are clear that Jesus was crucified precisely for criticizing and “reacting negatively” to the established religious system of His day (Mark 12:12; Luke 20:19–20). He did not see “the beauty and perfection in all things.” Instead, He rebuked the arrogant (Matthew 12:34), commanded the sinners to stop sinning (John 5:14; 8:11), and made it clear that not even those who thought they had achieved Christ consciousness would inherit eternal life (Matthew 7:21–23). He said that He had come to offer Himself as a sacrifice by which sinful man could be forgiven (Matthew 20:28; John 12:27). He did not float about in a cloud of transcendent euphoria. The Scriptures allow us to see Him grieving (John 12:27), sad (John 11:35), angry (John 2:15–17), and confrontational (Matthew 23:33).

Christ consciousness claims a belief in Jesus Christ, but it actually promotes faith in one’s own ability to make oneself pleasing to God through attitude changes and mystical experiences. Galatians 2:16 states that “a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ . . . that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” Faith in Christ does not mean we strive to be like Him in our own strength. He did not present Himself as a great moral teacher. He was crucified because He claimed to be the “only begotten Son of God” (John 1: 14, 18; 3:15–18; 1 John 4:9). Becoming “conformed to the image of Christ” (Romans 8:29) comes through the power of the Holy Spirit, given to those who repent and receive Jesus as Savior and Lord (John 1:12; Mark 6:12; 2 Corinthians 5:5).

The only “Christ consciousness” the Bible teaches is found in Philippians 2:5–7, “Have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” First Corinthians 2:16 says that, as believers, we “have the mind of Christ.” But this is stated in the context of the spiritual man versus the natural man, who is unable to understand the things of the Spirit (verses 14–15). When we are born again (John 3:3), we receive the Holy Spirit as a gift (Luke 24:49; Acts 2:38). He enables us to comprehend spiritual things (1 Corinthians 2:14), serve Jesus from a heart of love (Mark 7:6; 1 Peter 4:11), and live righteously despite temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 John 3:8–10).

First John 4:1 gives us direction concerning philosophies such as Christ consciousness: “Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” The consciousness that pleases Christ is for human beings to recognize that we are sinners (Romans 3:23), confess Jesus as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:8–9), and love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves (Luke 10:27).

Kei144:
1Co. 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; [Gen. 2:7] the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
1Co. 15:46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
1Co. 15:47 The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.

The fall of man led to man losing the Holy Spirit. Once the Holy Spirit is not in man, man is no longer a living soul, but a dead soul. A living soul is a soul that can grow towards the level of God and thereby become a life-giving spirit. When Satan instigated man to go against the commandment of God, he basically murdered the soul of man (Jn. 8:44). Man was barred from receiving the Holy Spirit again (Ge. 3:22-24).

In order for the soul of man to be redeemed from its dead state, an Adam must be offered as a sacrifice of atonement for the sin of the original Adam. Just as God provided a lamb for Abraham to sacrifice (Ge. 22:8, 13), God brought an Adam into the world to offer himself as a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of mankind.

Jn. 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, [Or his only begotten Son] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Ac. 2:37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In order to benefit from the redemption that Jesus Christ carried out for us, we begin with repentance. The fall of man was caused by man’s disregard of the word of God. Repentance means to have a high regard for the word of God, which leads to a desire to keep the commandments of God. Then comes baptism into the name of Jesus Christ. Baptism into the name of Jesus Christ unites a person with the death that Jesus Christ died for us and makes it the person’s death to the original Adam and his sins. The person is spiritually grafted into Jesus Christ. The original Adam and his children cannot receive the Holy Spirit again, whereas Jesus and his children easily receive the Holy Spirit. The person has therefore crossed over from death to life (Jn. 5:24). All that it takes for such a person to receive the Holy Spirit is to ask God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. God guarantees that He will give the Holy Spirit if He is asked (Lk. 11:13).

When a person is baptized into Jesus Christ in water and in the Spirit, the person becomes a living soul. The person now has the potential to become a life-giving spirit, just like God. What is the process of rising up to become a life-giving spirit?

1Pe. 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

A comparison of the original Adam and the new Adam shows how the original Adam fell from glory and the new Adam ascended in glory. That’s all we need in order to discover the process of rising up to become a life-giving spirit. Note that the two Adams began life as earthly beings, of the dust of the earth. When God put His Spirit into each Adam, he became a living soul. The original Adam fell from living soul to dead soul, whereas the new Adam rose from living soul to life-giving spirit.

Ro. 3:21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
Ro. 3:22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,
Ro. 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Ro. 3:24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Mankind fell short of the glory of God because of sin. After a person has been restored to glory (becoming a living soul through baptisms), the way to rise towards becoming a life-giving spirit is to practice the righteousness from God through faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ simply means to follow the way of Jesus Christ and shun the sinful way of the original Adam. How did Jesus Christ practice the righteousness from God and how did Adam fail to practice it?

Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Ge. 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

When tempted by Satan, the original Adam looked away from God’s word and began to focus on Satan’s word. That was how the original Adam got hooked by sin.

Mt. 4:3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
Mt. 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: `Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’“ [Deut. 8:3]

When tempted by Satan, Jesus never looked away from God’s words. He held on to God’s words and rebuffed Satan’s words using words of God.

Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Jn. 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jo. 1:8 captures the righteousness from God. Jesus so much spoke words of God that the Word possessed him—the Word became flesh. Anybody who is in Christ can be possessed by the Word, if the person speaks words that came out of the mouth of God (not every word in the Bible constitutes the Word) as described in Joshua 1:8.

Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

Ro. 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

In Jn. 3:34 we see that speaking words that came out of the mouth of God (applying the words to oneself) makes God to give the speaker the Holy Spirit (small increments of the Holy Spirit). The more a person speaks words of God, applying same to her/himself, the more the measure of the Holy Spirit grows; the person therefore ascends towards becoming a life-giving spirit. Salvation in Ro. 10:10 simply means growing in the glory of God or divinity, as opposed to falling in glory, which sin causes.
what? What is this? This is the teaching from mystical religions that man can ascend to the level of Godhood.
A living soul does not become a life life giving Spirit, man does not become God.
The life-giving Spirit is Jesus christ he is the only man that can give (spiritual life).

Christianity EtcRe: Was Apostle Paul Anti-woman ? Did His Teachings On Women Contradict Christ? by Steep(m): 3:03pm On Apr 01, 2024
Daejumong:
Many Apostles in Nigeria in recent time have highlighted the need to be careful with the teachings of Paul and that there are some areas they feel he contradicted Jesus.

Some people believe Apostle Paul preached a chauvinistic and misogynistic message unlike Jesus who placed men and women on the same pedestal.

For example, in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, Paul expressly forbade women from speaking in church and required them to be submissive: “…women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

In 1 Timothy 2:11-14 Paul declared: “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.”

Jesus however made women feel loved and appreciated in a patriarchal society like Israel. He had female followers , he had his feet bathed with expensive perfume by a woman, he saved an adulteress from being stoned publicly and also sat at the well with a philandering woman.
He also appeared first to Mary Magdalene( John 20: 17/18) after His resurrection and gave her a message for the apostles, making her an apostle to the apostles and the first evangelist!

I am happy the church has stuck to the example of Christ by allowing women speak in church, evangelise and become Pastors . I believe the patriarchy in Israel then might have influenced Apostle Paul’s teachings.
We are all same in the presence of God and serving or preaching God is not the exclusive preserve of any gender.
Even Jesus Christ didn't have any woman among his twelve, so what are you talking about. You can't separate the teachings of Paul from that of Jesus christ, this is what Satanists are trying to do in other to corrupt the gospel.
When it comes to the church there is order, this order is not according o feminism or other worldly ideology it is according to God.
The order is God-Jesus-Man-woman.
A woman cannot become head over a man not in the church and neither in the family.

These guys are also Apostles na abi, they have also done miracles too na abi. I guess they believe they have the right to do so, leave them na. Not like there influence will remove the writings of Paul in the bible.

This is what we should learn and pray against that may we not one day challenge Paul, call Elijah act of calling down fire a prayer to devil.
No, these guys must not be left alone, they are misleading souls to hell. Christians must never keep quiet and allow the devil operate unabated in the church.

How a certain Mohammed was allowed to mistranslate the Bible to Arabic just to murder innocent people.
Here is my take on that, Jesus said in the scriptures that many false prophets and false christ will come in the future and also by their fruits you will know them, as for why was he allowed to mistranslate the bible, it is because we re still in the period of time were Satan is allowed to exercise his power and control over men, this power will end at christ coming.
