The land are provided for farming. I don t know if they are available for ranching. Either way, I am yet to see the news of FG or SG providing support for herdsmen until today.

Government provide subsidised lands for farming all the time. They also provide tax breaks, mechanised equipment etc

It doesn't matter whether they are private businesses. It is a long term goal. Private businesses are the largest employer of labour and also consider the amount of money they add to government coffers as tax etc.

Government provide a lot of support to farmers, why not provide same to herdsmen? Whether we like it or not, they are an integral part of the economy.

It shouldn't really affect them. Usually people don't take taxis unless they have to and they more expensive than public transportation. Free public transport should not affect taxi drivers
