Children of the Beneficiaries under Gbemi Saraki and every other politician will say the same thing. It is funny you think giving out one trillionth of what is owed to you makes a Politician a good person. It is not unusual for politicians to give out money like they have their own personal bank. Indeed, Saraki's father had one, remind me again about what happened to Societale General bank? I heard his dad did not quite appreciate his type of politics. fairfora: This Saraki's matter will Make many develop sudden HBP walahi. He's got nothing to lose. The otoge revolutionists would soon know what's up. My friend's dad was a beneficiary of Saraki's scholarship schemes which gave my friend the opportunity of enjoying quality western education. In my undergraduate years in ilorin, I remember when many poor people would go to his dad's ( turaki ilorin) house to collect money every Friday to sort out their pressing needs. Some should get house rent etc. I was surprised how all these were forgotten in a hurry by the revolutionists who were hell bent on sending Saraki off power. Their case would soon be like that of anti ghadafi protesters in Libya who later realised they were deceived by the west to oust ghadafi. 2 years is too much to begin feeling the pain. Unfortunately those who sponsored otoge including Tinubu would have reaped the benefits alone and abandon the kwarans. |

You are just being silly. Homosexual relationship is everywhere. There is no measure to determine if it is more rampant in the North in comparison to other societies. Perhaps you're the one that lacks intelligence to really see what inhuman treatment Islam gives to people (both offender and non offender). Sharia law— an eye for two eyes. Wow, tell him what he doesn't know Evangkatsoulis: You don't have to learn any nigerian language. The standard language in Nigeria is English(British english) and pidgin english. You weren't born or bred in Nigeria, you likely know no body here. So forget about your Nigerian roots and move on. Unless you want to stay in underdeveloped erosion-ridden south yeastern area of Nigeria you do not need Igbo. Abuja, Lagos and Ph are the active places in Nigeria and you don't need any local language to go through. |

He is willing to go through the trouble. Opiletool: I really do understand your plight, but I'll advise ou go for that which your heart really desires, which I can deduce is igbo, and which I still insist you learn considering the fact that it's your parent's tongue.
See, I am yoruba, and if I'd been in your shoes, I'll go for my language, not for my sake, but for my unborn kids'. You will not give birth and start teaching them a language that is not of their people will you?
You can break the odds, come and enroll for Igbo class over here in Nigeria. People will hardly want to teach you because it takes lots of effort and time. And considering the fact that money is not involved (joking). We have whites studying our indigenous languages over here. I knew of two back then in yoruba linguistics department of my school(university), so, if white people could go through all the troubles, why can't you? |

They've all benefitted from the illegal gold mining, what is happening in Zamfara is conflict of mining interest and its local so they should deal with it locally by naming/shaming those responsible which is an open secret in Zamfara.
Also they should continue holding their leaders responsible especially those they voted and stop being "a little pissed". |

Who says they do not want to pay for the burial lands? They are not always looking for handouts, they have contributed as much as you and I to the economy not Nigeria. izombie: I am still looking around nigeria to see where igbos were given free lands for the markets we have all over nigeria. These people are always looking for handouts. Igbos go to lands and buy lands for their business but when you come to igbo land you want us to give you free land. Won't work. Just bring out the money and nnewi community will sell the land to you, period. |
Politics › Re: Hausa Community In Nnewi Want Land For Market And Burial, Living Peacefully by Sterope(f): 9:37am On Apr 06, 2019 |
Hausa not Fulani. You don't have to show your ignorance to the world. Bede2u: our people have a saying that when an oracle starts misbehaving, he will be shown the tree it was carved from. That was wat happened to Akpabio...and that is wat will happen to any leader who gives out igbo land to fulanis for cattle ranching
However I appreciate the enterprise of the hausa community. The New artisan market along Enu-ph express is an hausa market...we have not had any problem with them. U can go there and do anything...or buy anything and even Bleep their nyarinyas in their hijab for 500 naira.
Nnewi should gv them 2 plots for burial ground at 3 million each if they can afford it...and a market of about 10 plots at same price...then ensure that a local vigilante is set up there to monitor their activities. We need to do these things for the north as a sign of good faith. They are the one tribe outside igbos who invest a lot in igboland...and we want them to continue and we want them to accomodate our traders up north too.
