Kmgb: U guys should chill na...I can mistakenly input 8 instead of 7 on a date even if my intention was to input 7,it happens all the time,Its called a typo, because the drop down calendar will put 7 beside 8 right?
The misrepresentation bruhaha in all these is if my result form carries 7th which is on a Wednesday however I had filled and created my profile on a Monday prior, imputting 8 and then after the result is out on Wednesday, I go back to correct it to 8,my gcms note will show i created my profile before the test date of the result I used which is a problem, however if I inputted my score anytime after result was out and I made a mistake, changing it shouldn't give me high bp,that's why we go over our answers several times before submitting. Hello Sweetpea, hw r u? |

SkyWalk12: First off, I am girl. Lol
The interview was extremely difficult. I plan to write in detail about it cos I don’t think we have a wealth of information on interviews here. (But I can see why we don’t. It was harrowing and I don’t really want to discuss it in detail- at least till my PPR comes). Major issue identified was that she didn’t believe I had actually worked as a psychologist during my NYSC, she said I could have been a receptionist. Regardless of my BSc and MSc in Psychology from two goo Unis in the U.K., my reference letter and bank statements showing salary payments. I sha tried to convince her.
If Ralph said all my assessments were passed, do I still have something to worry about? Hang in there sis. Hang in @aworldcitizen's case has shown us tough cases crumble like paper before God. We will rejoice with your ppr testimony soon. You have a good point on the lack of interview info on this thread. It could be because some of such cases are nerve racking and also personal. We look forward to learning from your experience in your set time. Hang in there |

jmnsimone: Hi everyone
I've been refused a Uk visa before but I can't remember why I was refused or where the refusal letter is - will I need this post ITA? If I do need it is there any way I can request another copy? I'm trying to put everything I need together while waiting for my ECA to materialize and I don't want anything else delaying me. I had a refusal too. I couldn't remember the exact reason they gave. I no longer possessed the refusal letter. I simply stated the refusal month/year and the country it was to, I uploaded the visa page where they put the ugly rejection stamp (as per all marking request) and simply stated I could no longer remember the precise reason the embassy gave for refusal. I had no issues. I had no ADR for this. I have my COPR today. If CIC truly wants to know why the visa application was rejected, they can simply request same information from the UK. Don't go troubling yourself about old rejection letters. The most important thing is full disclosure of visa application rejection |

TwentySeven: Quick question please:
I was denied a U.K visa previously and I dsclosed this in my application. Its been almost 2 months post AOR and i have not been sent a schedule A form to fill.
Is this normal? I never used eye to see this schedule A form people always talk about. I always read about people filling it themselves without being asked to. Others I believe got ADR to fill it. I had previous denials as well. I never filled this form on my own. I was never told to fill too. I merely filled my EE profile well by stating all travel history and declaring the previous refusals. I even attached a refusal letter while I stated that I couldn't remember why my very first visa application was denied. I wouldn't sweat it if I wasn't asked |

@stonecoldcafe.... thanks for that question you asked about whether the visa comes with photo. I was adequately pre-warned and saved myself both a mini-heart attack and from acting small drama at vfs Nor be small thing o! That day, I continued to linger around the premises because I tot something was wrong with the size of my photograph hence the reason it wasn't used. CanadianNaija: Just got back from a planning for Canada session held today somewhere at Ikeja. Guys make sure you register and attend this, I promise that the amount of research you have done doesn’t make up for the quality of information you get there.
I was just sad when I saw that a country that one haven’t landed in can organize orientation programs, pay for hall rental with feeding inclusive, employ staff and pay flight for them to travel city to city to enlighten people of their options before they land (All free of charge). The government of Canada is doing this for people that are not even their citizens, trying as much as possible to ensure that you succeed, yet I can’t list one tangible thing that Nigeria has done for me. It’s well. My dear Nairalander, after attending such an informative session earlier this year, after chopping food and enjoying all you stated above, as I took my IOM/CIC red bag (with the cute flash drive + my certificate of attendance) I knew my life would never remain the same. I just felt it even tho na only ITA i get that time. Such care from a government wen nor even know me sef. It was from that day I began to feel like a Canadian sef, not PR oh! Full Canadian citizen. LOL |

olujastro: I did ielts last month and my CRS is 438 at the moment, 2 points below the current 440. If I wait till July/Aug next year my CRS will be 473 courtesy of masters and age. My initial plan was to wait till next year before entering pool, but my friends have been putting pressure on me to use my Nigerian BSc and apply instead, citing unfounded fears that things can change really fast by next year (EE could stop, the process and required documents can become more difficult, etc.).
The problems I have with using my naija BSc is the unnecessary stress and cost of verifying transcripts. Having to put enormous pressure on people and bribe them to do their jobs that they're paid to do is sickening to me. With European degrees, it's about one click away at almost no cost. So I'll be happy to avoid all the naija wahala especially with WES now demanding WAEC for Nigerian degrees.
Any chance the cut off will drop below 440? What's the pattern like for cut offs...does it increase or decrease at the beginning or end of the year? Any advice if you were in my shoes? This is entirely up to you. Would the score go below 440 this year? No one can say. We would like that to happen for our brothers/sisters in the 430's but at this stage, people are being advised to max out or try PNP where all else fails. By all accounts, 473 is an excellent score. Even if crs scores go up next year, its unlikely going to affect you. And we know this program has plans to run until 2020. I take it you have started the masters program already. I remember when entering the pool earlier this year, some members on this thread were heading for open university programs. By the first quarter of next year, we will be rejoicing with them. So you see, its all about planning. Take a bold decision and work towards it. For your degree, you can use ICES since WAEC buhaha and verification wahala nor dey. Good luck |
