Please I need help with an effective tick/lice removal treatment thingy. I just returned home for xmas and observed a particular dog is infected with ticks - loads. The other is not.
I hear the infected dog runs to the dustbin area a lot. The compound is fenced so they don't wander out at all. They bath them every week so I'm not sure how he got them. I've used the attached oil but I don't know if I can get something stronger. |

sherina10: Yes im okay. He came to visit me in school bought an engagement ring, gave it to me, we spent some time togheter when he was about living that same day was when he told me about his wife, i had to let go then, he came to visit me again in school with his wife, he said he was serious and our marriage will be normal and his wife is in support. he informed me that when he told his people about his intention of getting married again they gave him a condition that he must reconcile with his wife because his wife is still very much interested in the marriage and she has no problem with him getting married again at that point in time i couldnt let go because he was pratically a family to me then, who showed me so much love and support just to marry me not that i dont love him? i do love him, he is very okay and honest. i had to go ahead and marry him otherwise i will see myself as an ungrateful person, i never knew polygamy comes with stigma and sometimes unwarranted hatred from people especially as the second wife. i dont know im playing victim, i taught i was writing my story and about child rearing i only knew about that after the marriage. NOTE; I wont be fair if i dont mention that up till now i dont have a child nor pregnant but he is still supportive. thanks for the advice I think this man and his wife has been very fair to you. Your concerns are flimsy to be honest - let it go and make attempts to blend into his family and fit into his life style. Goodluck. Hopefully you have a kid for him now and even his 1st wife too. All the best. NB: if you are still feeling terrible a year after you posted this story and you've got no kids yet, perhaps its time to walk. |

donestk: Each time I board a bus or keke and try to start a conversation with a girl, one way or the other she ends up paying my transport fare.
Even when I get her number and try to follow up, she will eventually tell me she's in a relationship.
Am beginning to find it embarrassing as it repeated last night.
Guys, have you experienced same?
Babes, what's really the motive of paying a dude's t-fare with no strings attached? Na as goat stand naim dem price am for market. Why continually toast in a bus or keke? Are you a bricklayer with dirt all over after a hard day's job? Surely there must be something pitiful about you that makes them help with your tfare. NB: howz your breath? Okay bye now. |

Jarus: Sanusi is neither a bigot nor a thief. I can say that anywhere.
Yes, he's my mentor, far before he became CBN boss, I've been his admirer. Wish I could retrieve a a NL thread of 2008 where role models were being discussed and I listed Sanusi (FBN CEO ) and Fola Adeola as mine. That was before he became CBN governor.
I know SLS on personal basis and he's neither a thief nor a bigot, except of course like everyone is proud of his ethnic origin, he's proud of being a Fulani man. We have discussed this extensively on NL around 2009/2010 and not sure I have the time and energy to go into back and forth again.
What do I like in him? I have listed that many times on NL.
1, Like me, he combined corporate job with writing and intervening in national discourses.
2, He's largely fearless and courageous.
3, He read wide. You are such a nice man; see the way you dey answer them. Congrats jo! |

DISTINGUISHED: ...not right, First you did the wrong thing by Asking your subordinate out; not Saying it bad outrightly but since The feel/drive was from you alone And you too interface on a daily basis, She being your staff, you shouldn't have Asked her out.
#remedy ...call a general meeting with all staff, Emphasize seriously on #rude_behavior to Colleagues, seniors and customers.
Slightly, mention her case and boldly Tell the house that you were once attracted To the staff, that you even approachd her On it but with this current trend of her, You're no longer interested. ...let this be on a lighter note but managed It properly so it will be well understood.
Thanks Terrible advise! He should inform his entire staff he asked one of them out? Where did you get your HR skills/advise from? |

mudility: Hey pals, if you have read my previous post https://www.nairaland.com/2738913/love-employee you will remember i was crushing on one of my female worker.
After i hastily made my intentions known to her, I was given those kind of funny attitude ladies display when not interested.
On a one on one discussion, she said she will not date me for two reasons. 1. because i am her boss and 2. because she has a boyfriend.
Okay, i totally respect her decision but i realized her attitude changed. She sometimes arrives late to work, flirt with my costumers to make me jealous. The final straw that broke the camel back is when i was scolding my other worker for her mistakes and complains am getting from my customers about her.
What i heard was this my employee i had crush on saying to me with boldness that i dont have to talk to her that way. I was shocked to my bone marrow that i ordered her to keep quit and leave my presence.
After i got home, i could not stop thinking about her rude bahaviour. I almost payed her off today but the sympathetic me decide to keep her till month end.
Pls friends , what do u think about my intended plan? You are just being jealous. Get over yourself man! |

Nairaland General › Re: Yahoo Boy Runs Mad In Lagos; Jumps Out Of His Range Rover And Tears Clothes -Pic by stonecoldcafe: 10:26am On Dec 18, 2015 |
OctopusPaul: So I got a broadcast message on my BBM this noon. It’s about a yahoo boy who reportedly ran mad on Lagos Island.
On interrogating the sender, he briefed TalkGlitz on how the whole scene went down.
The young man (name withheld) according to witness just packed his car (Range Rover), jumped out and started tearing his clothes. In no time, he was totally undressed. Then he started moving around the mainroad of Lagos Island snapping with his iPhone 6 and a cardboard held in his hand.
Well, nobody can actually explain what befell his but it’s obviously not something natural. Few persons around the scene identified him as one of the prominent yahoo boys within the neighbourhood. End time story, like many will tag it, things we do for money… Hmmnn! Are they worth it after all?
Ponder that!

Romance › Re: I Need Help Fast! I Keep Falling In Love With The Wrong Guys by stonecoldcafe: 8:01pm On Dec 17, 2015 |
beleza: I am not in a good situation at the moment. I am in love with a guy who has a girlfriend. Before you judge me here is my story.I am a lady in my late 20s, pretty, funny, lovable and a good christian but the major problem I have been facing since I knew about dating is the kind of guys I get attracted, they are usually cool but unserious, have commitment issues, are emotionally unavailable and just want to sleep with me.I am very emotional and I tend to show my feelings towards a guy so soon.Secondly I have never had a relationship that lasted more than six months.
In my 4 years in the university, I didnt have any relationship, not that i didnt want but guys were not just coming. My friends always felt I should have a lot of admirers because of my looks but the reverse was the case. After school, the few ones I tried to have, turned out sour. One was my former fellowship pastor so I thought he will be serious as he was old enough for marriage. This was about 4 years ago.I was disappointed when I realised that he was just after sex.He started acting up, withdrawing, saying I was disturbing him emotionally and that he is tired.Later, he said we should do friends with benefit, I just cut him off totally. This was a supposed pastor trying to take advvantage of my weakness.
A year later in 2013 met another dude.It didnt last up to six months before we broke up due to our numerous differences.he also didnt make a commitment, the major thing was that we liked ourselves. It took me a long time to get time over him.fast forward to this year met a very funny and inteeligent guy.we met on an online socialnetworking site.he is in his 30's and he seemed just like my perfect man. There was this connection I had with him and we could talk about anything at anytime.snooped on his social media accounts and I didnt see any signs of a lady or girlfriend so I felt the coast was clear.Only for me to ask him one day and he says he is in a relationship, even showed me her photo.I had already started having feelings for him, it was hard to turn back.We were so attracted to each other and it was to hard to resist him even though I knew he just wanted sex from me.Dude travels out and isnt communicating like before, even though he told me his gf is in nigeria but I wasn't convinced.
Our major fallout was when on my birthday I didnt get message fro him until a day later, I decided to send a nasty message to him saying he was just after my body and all.Dude gets angry, I started apologising almost immediately, this happed in October.he just reads my messages doesnt reply doesnt pick my calls.Since the incident happend, I havent been myself, I have never begged or apologised to any one like this in my life, I have cried almost everyday for the past two months, I cant concentrate at work.He recently came back but didn't tell me but I found out on my own.Went to his house a few days ago unannounced just to apologize, He got more angry in the process saying he warned not to come without telling him.He said he has forgiven me and also apologized for leading on but ended up saying he has issues with people that dont trust him.The worst part is he knows I love him so he is doing this to hurt me more.
I just cant get him out of my mind, I think about him everyday, I am in a dilemma.we never had sex, we just kissed and touched so I dont understand what is going on. I still sent him msgs yesterday but he just read them and didnt reply.I have uninstalled my whatsapp because of him so I cant send him msgs.At this point, I am fed up, I don't why love treats me like this. I need your advice asap . You are too foooooli.sh, another woman's man. Remain there until he sleeps with you. You shall forever remain his side chick. Please go and read a book on conquering low self esteem issues. |
