My dad's dog should be 3 years plus if not 4. She has never gotten pregnant cos she does not allow the dogs mate her. Twice I've personally taken her to a stud when she's on heat but she will not agree to mate.

Someone said cos she was older and stronger dan d male (true but in just one case) another person said some dogs are just stubborn and don't want to be mounted. She is GSD. I used to own 4 parrots back in the day. Two very violent ones (one specie like 'merlin' above) and two other beautifuuuuuuul ones. The pretty ones had tails as long as 8-10 inches or maybe more. Very graceful. The violent ones would attack anything that came close to their cage.
Always alerted us when anyone was approaching our stairs. Noisy during the day, but calm at night. Always pulled a Houdini in their escape stunts. You could come out to see wiregauze bent or broken to facilitate their escape. Scoffeild of prison break would have marvelled at such art.

I miss them though it been so many years. One died naturally, one did a jail break and never returned, the meanest did a jail break and got bitten on the neck by a monstrous rat accross the next street. The prettiest also died in the same way, rat bite to the neck in the same street.

When I meant gate, I actually had gate/ fence in mind. Just seeing your post about not having a fence. Here is my thought, if you are going to invest in a good dog (probably over 10k) then you may want to consider securing your property with a fence. Again if security is so important you need your dog alert and not running around to mate then again you should consider the fence.

I sort of get where you are coming from if certain factors don't allow this. While growing up, we lived in a rented house that was not fenced at the back and one side. We not only lost dogs (puppies especially) but fowl. My parents could not fence another man's house and we lived there for ages until they built their place. Today things have changed. No dog has ever gone missing. Dem fit sef? LOL

So neuter your dog if you must or get a biiitch instead. Then again fix your fence for peace of mind or move out if its not your personal property. All the best.

I don't have any right now; but when I get one (male), I prefer him castrated. My reason is simple! I wouldn't want a dog that will stay around during the day and in the night will go out to mate with other dogs. This might sound selfish but sometimes they don't come back at all (This is based on my previous experiences except the day breaks) . Thereby, derelicting (correct me if this word is used incorrectly) in his responsibility as a security dog (mind you, our compound is not fenced).

A concerned woman shared photos of a badly beaten 9 year old Onyinyechi on her Facebook page, saying Onyinye, who serves as a housemaid, was beaten by her madam/aunty. How you can beat a girl this little, to the extent that you leave marks on her body and give her a red patch on her eye is beyond me. People like this should be arrested. Below is what the woman shared on Facebook.

A little girl called Onyinyechi (9yrs) always come to my mum’s shop where am currently working while waiting for youth service, to buy some things for her Aunty. This little girl is always full of smiles but only when you take a closer look at her, would you see the agony she passes through in the hands of her madam.

On Monday when she came to the shop, there were blood stains on her cloth and when I looked at her head, I saw that it was broken in two different places.

When I asked who did that to her, she said that it was her Aunty that broke her head because her aunty’s daughter’s baby food finished and she did not tell her. I was close to tears and when I asked if she had eaten she said no, by 12pm ooo

I wanted to send in this post that day but I decided to wait but what I saw today was another level of wickedness.

Onyinyechi came to the shop today to see me, to show me the latest designs her aunty made on her body with bite and belt marks included. Flogging her with belt and giving her a red patch on her eye was not enough, she had to bite her too and she is not going to school.

Please readers, I would love it if any human right worker can help this little girl before she dies in the hands of her madam please help. The names of her parents are Mr and Mrs Bernard and Rose Nkrem in Umunoha, Imo State, but she does not have their contact or that of any of her siblings.

If any of you recognises this girl or know her parents, please contact them to come and take their daughter away before her corpse will be all that is left to take. God bless you all.
