Mztarstrechy:
When a photo of Abubaka Audu and his much younger wife went viral many months back, many were left wondering and confused as to whether she was his daughter or wife. Alas, the release of a second photo cleared the confusion and the true story was revealed. She wasn’t his daughter but his third wife. Her name is Olivia and she is an half-caste. She hails from the Tiv-part of Benue State as her mum is from Ugba/Unongo family. She is an undergraduate of UNIJOS.

In 2010, Audu was alleged to have abandoned his wife, Mrs. Aisha Audu with her 3 children in the US. Aisha then filed a paper at the District Court of Maryland Montgomery County where she sought protective order against Prince Audu accusing him of assault.

Its now insulting to refer to anyone like 'halfcaste'. Mixed race is a lot better.

thanks man

Lemme correct the notion, my dad never made me a writer, I struggled to draw picture stories at a very young age but he tore them up, i can tell you how many times my phone was seized because I was typing an update, he thinks I'm watching porn or something worse, a certain time I had to be submitting my phone by 10 pm because he claimed I pressed it too much, even though a kobo of his wasn't used to buy it

Work is not an issue for me, I'm sure I would rise above his hate someday
I know about the writing stuff, writing is innate after all. What I meant was sending you to school, getting you educated which resulted in your writing skill. From what I've read, its obvious you are in the science class which you hate. Dude, I feel for you but you know what, we are in Nigeria and shit like that happens. Continue with the science class, you're almost there (final year) from what I read. Chin up and manage until you're done with it.

When you move out, he can't prevent you from being what you want to be. The beautiful thing is art is innate. It is timeless, it always finds a channel to express itself. Good luck bro.

Warning: this is an epistle.

@therock5555, sorry for what you are going through. I know you as a great writer in the literature section; indeed problems could be invisible.

Number 1, how old are you and do you have a job? Are you still at the university? I ask cos you say moving out is not an option. Why can't you move out?

2. In the event you are a student or you don't have work yet, I have small bad news aka coping stategy for you and here it goes. You have to manage and dance to your dad's tune. You may hate him and life @ your home but if he is providing you with a hot meal and roof over your head, you have to humble yourself bro. You have to suck it in and act the fool! It remains your dad's home afterall. Your siblings cowering before him are not fools. Manage yourself n bear or better still MOVE OUT of his house.

3. If truly you are his 1st son, I want to believe you mean something to him even if he acts otherwise. He may not know how to express it and perhaps he acts that way cos he believes you are not living up to expectation. Please don't be depressed, do ur bit and leave d rest for God.pls take this seriously, take it from someone who knew a man (my uncle). My uncle hardly got along with his 1st son, quarell up and down coupled with some poor choices by my cousin. This cousin sadly passed away through sickness. Therock5555, I tell you, no one wept to reach my uncle. I tell you, he loved that boy in his own way. Nuff said. Believe me, if only you could see inside your dad's heart.

4. There are unreasonable barbaric or even wicked parents but we don't get to pick who brings us to this world. I know what of 2 friends who passed through hell while growing up but today there are out of their father's home with their own family. Not holding brief for your dad but just trying to say 'manage' him until you leave home.

At least if your dad did nothing, he sent you to school (I'm assuming) thus making you the great writer you are. That must surely count for something.

PS: if you don't have job, scour your area. Do something you enjoy. Go meet the business owner and tell them you want to intern, learn a skill or work for free! Yes. Some may charge a pittance for training you. Just do anything so you're not so depressed, remain busy and stay out of your father's hair. All d best bro. Will say a prayer for you.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: PRAISE THE LORD!I HAVE GOTTEN A JOB by stonecoldcafe:
Adewunmi84:
Last week,I created a post on vacancy/job section on nairaland tiitled"PLEASE HELP A BROTHER" where I made a plea for a job.In the content of the topic,I made mention that I have impregnated my girllfriend who happened to be in ND2 now and I said the thought of abortion first came to my mind but we had to put the idea aside because we believe by so doing,we will commit murder. Some comments on the thread were not even encouraging. Some said a condom of #50 would have saved me from the dillema I find myself because I am jobless(just finished national youth service on october 15th).Some accused me of committing fornication which I know I actually committed.A guy said that I should look for a burna boy track"yawa dey" and listen to it several time.Somebody even abused me that despite that he had B.eng,he doesn't mess around his girlfriend let alone me with HND.Some people advised me indirectly to abort the baby and further my education. That same week,I got three offers. One from a nairalander here. One from a friendand the last one from my former company where I worked for four years after my ND after I called my former boss to explain the predicament I found myself. To God be the glory,I left osun state for lagos state yesterday(20th November) to meet my former boss.To my surprise,I was given a job of a manager in UACN PLC( I don't want to mention the subsidiary). No form of test or an interview was conducted for me and I was asked to resume on tuesday(24th November) as a trainee manager having worked in the account department between 2007 and 2011.To cap it all,i was told to apply for a balance of my pension contribution which i contributed between the four years i was with the company before i resigned(employer and employee contribution).I was told they will pay me the balance since my contribution then was not up to a million naira(i think that is the new pension act).Definitely,i will be paid up to 1/8 of a million naira.I pray for those reading this, before this year runs to an end,God almighty in his infinite mercies will grant you divine connection in Jesus name.I dedicate my new job to my baby in the womb!!!
Happy for you. Big congrats. That your unborn child is a harbinger of joy. Please treat the mum well and marry her sharply to seal this blessing. Good luck in your new job.

We should be greatful for the ban of that small generator, why? Because The environmental toxicity due to oily fumes emitted by this little machine is very deadly, that i can honestly tell you if you have had it fumes always in your environment and obviously have been breathing it, meehn, you have been seating on a long thing because you have been initiating a process to getting your lungs and hearts in a bad unfixable health conditions, your condition will surely be worst than a chain smoker( whom is liable to die young). Someone had to safe us from ourselves.

Another accomplist on this serious environment pollution and health hazard threat common in our environment is the popular tricycle(keke napep), honestly should get the ban too.

Reason being that the combustion system of this two machines are although economical due to its top fuel efficient utilization ability, i mean it saves fuel in long working hours, but lets mind our health more and embrace this bans.

Looking at the available option in the market there are other brands offering almost same fuel utilization efficiency and extremely low prices and good quality built engines to reducing the health hazard in our environments, you can check this brands to confirm.
The small businesses can embrace this other options.
I have been victim to the unheathy voltage supply of this "i better pass my neighbour" generator, its burnt a few of my phone chargers, which gets me wondering why it chooses to blow up charges and some other home appliances but wont power a refrigerator, infact, appliances like a barber clipper will reciprocate the sound emitted by this generator (which travels in its unheathy voltage).

LETS BE GRATEFUL TO THIS BAN, ITS A NICE ONE AND SHOULD BE COMMENDED, SAY NO TO JUNK APPLIANCES POLLUTING OUR ENVIRONMENTS, CAUSING US GREAT HEALTH IMPLICATIONS, WE DESERVE BETTER WITH OUR HARD EARN MONEY.

Whats the point making all the money when you wont live to enjoy the fruits of your labour, Thank you Mr president for safing us from ourselves.

We use to live in the same neighborhood. She is a very decent lady, a good wife material. I love her so much and it took 4yrs for her to finally say yes. Four good yrs for her to accept to have a relationship with me. Now the relationship is about to crash in less than a year. Let me go in details...

During the 1st month of our relationship. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was full of love and i knew it will be a disaster to loose her. Our love life started during one of her long school holiday. She told me her last relationship was with a guy in her school, how they broke up due to irreconcilable differences. After few weeks of her resumption back to school i started seeing photo mixed by the guy on facebook tagged to her. Whenever i call regarding this issue she always say the guy does that just to gain her attention.

Weeks later, the photo mix grew into real photoshoot involving the both. She no longer call as she used to. She even ignore most of my calls. I started having this feeling that i have lost her but i still played along. She is again on holiday, we have met to discuss this issue. She told me she is now dating the guy due to his aunt's intervention. She said her feelings for me only come when am around her..

I dont know what to do.. I feel she as just used me to pass time. I feel cheated yet i dont wanna loose her. Pls nairalanders i need your advice. What should i do?

Sent4rmabove:
This post is strictly for the matured minds..bashers please keep off,you not needed now at least for the moment.

May I begin my story, though it might appear lengthy please do take time to read and advice me accordingly.

My life has been showered with love and care from both my family, my friends and Ioved ones. I have been into a relationship that's more than 2years old and I must confess its been grossed with affection and care. We've both dreamt of a life together, we've dreamt of building an empire together, and hope to live a fulfilled life someday. As every lady I got a biological clock too, and time waits for no one. There are a few crazy things I've done and sacrificed to keep my relationship going, one of which I have turned down so many suitors because I hope to spend my life with the one I love.
Trouble started first when I got to find out the one I love cheated on me, I trusted him though at first (FYI we both agreed to remain chastised in our dating period even though we go a long way kiss*ng,cuddling, romanc*ng but we have kept s*x outside our relationship ). Like every lady I felt hurt
and wanted a break, and also like one with a compassionate heart, I forgave when he became remorseful. Things got a little better not until recently like every decent good and beautiful girl who gets suitors often, he got to find out about one who's on my neck, he got furious and avoided me.
He has forgotten that there are times I stood by him when things were toughs, I was careful never to be demanding as he isn't working and is still looking for a job as well as making ends meet. I have been patient and I wish to settle down soon (my clock ticks) and like every lady I pray for a better life for him too(things are not easy you know). Also I got too find out that he is seeing someone, which I confronted him about and he told me straight to my face that what I haven't been giving him someone else gives him, I felt hurt.
This is my point, I think I need counsel on how to get a break, I've got other suitors whom I know if they show me care and affection I'll develop love,he is kindah a jealous person and might kill me if I tell him openly(he might kill me)#my fear tho# even if he is cheating and gets me hurt. another fear I've got is he might turn out to ruin my life and might dump my sorry ass someday if I keep hanging on him (don't blame me because sometimes when I look into him I see a different being someone different what want he use to be when we first met). Life is full of ups and down and I have made up my heart to move on if I get good advice on how to end this whole relationship without losing my mind and my life#just my fear#.

Forgive my typographical errors!.
Thank u.
I'm more concerned about the part in bold. Kill you and you think that's normal?
Please be wise, dude is even out there dating someone else and you cant move on for your sanity? What for?
Listen, just tell him its over, SAY IT AND MEAN IT, don't go back to your vomit after that
lose his number, delete him from your life and phone, don't entertain any begging or telling others to help him beg
Be respectful if he comes around and just say ''i'm sorry its over''
Don't go and meet him in dark corners or even Mr Biggs and co.
Keep it simple and move on
Your heart will heal over time, give it time to heal. I know you are having suitors but allow yourself get over this man then give love a go
Goodluck

Please friends I need your help on the way forward.
The thing is that I think I have fallen in love with one of my female workers and it's driving me crazy.

I am running a sport betting shop and i have two female employees. Lately i have caught myself sleeping and waking up with the thought of her.

Am currently single and i love the qualities and character she possesses.

Three days back i told her how i felt about her and realy want to start something serious with her. Omo after i told her my feelings, she has been uncomfortable around me.

I told her yesterday that i noticed she is uncomfortable with what i told her. I told her i really value her services to my business and it's okay if she says no.

Honestly i do love her but don't really know how i will go about it anymore.

Please if you have been in this kind of shit before, let me know how you handled it. help a brother out please.
Of course she will feel uncomfortable. That is where she works and gets her daily bread, she came to work and not date the boss. If she tells you no, will you leave her alone? You should have left her oga sir, you don't eat and defecate in the same place. You don't mix business with pleasure. Go and ask Franklin Ubi and Emma Nyra.

First of all I don't stay in the north. I stay in Lagos, I'm a yoruba and a Muslim as well. I appreciate your honesty. I also know that we need to do more and find a way to stop these terrorists from staining Islam. It's a hard thing to do and I don't even have a single clue how to go about it. But 1 thing I would have love is people to stop copying verses and wrong interpretation from Google and thinking they are proving a point. You can buy a translated Quran, read from cover to cover. If Allah says kill in a verse, he didn't say kill the innocent. Why not read the verse above it & also the one below. So as to know what the whole surat or chapter is talking about. Instead of hammering on one point that says kill. Do not kill. It's as simple as that. May Allah S.W.T save us all and help us stop terrorism. All those stations you mentioned air too less Islamic programs. Watch Islamic channels on cables and you'll see what I'm saying.
Very mature reply. God bless you bro. Have a good week ahead.

listen and watch more. I've listened to over 100 sermons that'll tell you killing is a sin in Islam. Allah values life a lot. Even when killing animals you are supposed to do it compassionately and never forget to say Bismillah Allahu Akbar. If God values animal life as much as that, why will he now say we should kill humans. So please listen to more preaching by Islamic clerics and you'll hear them saying it.
On national TV, i'm talking local television in Nigeria, NTA, AIT, Silverbird awon local stations. I'm talking condemnation by their clerics and co. I don't stay in the northern part of Nigeria so i can't say the kind of propaganda Federal Government is using to condemn those actions and dissuade people from doing them. Here in the south other than saying people should be vigilant and report strange events and co I don't hear their people condemning it and explaining stuff. Even here on Nairaland, I don't see them come out en mass and condemning such act. I feel there is this wall of silence when such happens. Instead I see them come out to protect their religion when others are questioning the religion and talking anyhow after such heinous crimes. That is fair enough and I can imagine wanting to protect your faith if it's being bashed but I hardly ever see them condemning these actions in itself. I'm just being honest, this is one of the first threads i'm seeing with islamic scriptures (or whatever this op has quoted) and I feel really bad that this topic didn't even make front page.
