Family / Re: I'm Fed Up!! by sugardaddy1(m): 3:27pm On Nov 28, 2013
I don't care how delicious or tasteless my wife's food is, I just enjoy it as it is. However, if she annoys me and shows no remorse, my most potent weapon is to always abandon her food for days (or weeks sometimes) until she apologizes and I am convinced she is truly sorry. I doubt if this OP can reject his wife's food even when slapped and insulted on top of it when he evenetually marries.

Family / Natural Ways To Have A Baby Boy by sugardaddy1(m): 11:33am On Sep 18, 2013
During pre-marriage classes, couples are often taught how to live harmoniously as husband and wife. However, one common cause of bitterness in marriages especially in Africa is often downplayed or ignored entirely -the gender of children.

In Africa, only a few marriages survive without a male child and for those few that usually do, the couples involved will tell you in confidence that it has not been easy both as couplea and as individuals. The pressure on African women to bear male children both from within and outsude the family is so enormous that only strong-willed couples are abelt to absorb the pressure and still remain as one.

For the benefit of couples who seek very natural ways of influencing baby gender for the health of their marriages, I want to share a very popular method here and encourage others to do same:-

Shettles Method

Dr. Landrum B. Shettles developed the method of choosing the sex of the baby. Therefore, it is popularly known as the Shettles method. His method is applicable for conceiving both baby girl and a boy.
Natural Ways to Conceive a Baby Boy

The X and Y chromosomes released by a man, are very different from each other. The X being the girl sperm is stronger than Y, which is a boy sperm. Though Y chromosomes are fastest swimmers, they cannot survive the acidic area of the vagina and die quickly. Hence, there are certain methods, which might prove effective If you are planning to know how to conceive a boy.

Time the Intercourse: Y sperms travel fast, but are very delicate. In case the vagina is acidic, then Y chromosomes die quickly. The intercourse should be done during the ovulation period, as there are more chances of the Y sperm to reach the egg faster increasing the chances of having a boy.

Sexual Position: The area near the opening of the uterus is acidic and therefore to enable the survival of the Y sperm, penetration must be as deep as possible. This way it reaches the egg even faster. There are many sexual positions which allow deep penetration and increase the chances of getting pregnant with a boy. As per Shettles recommendation rear-entry position is more promising in getting pregnant with a boy.

Orgasms: Orgasms lead to alkaline secretion, making the conditions favorable for Y chromosomes to survive. Shettles recommend, that the woman must experience orgasm before the man.

It is important to keep a watch on the pH level of the vagina to increase the survival chances of the Y sperm. There are certain foods that help maintain the pH level. Therefore, in order to get pregnant with a boy, a woman is advised to have fish, red meat, eggs, apples, bananas and salty food. If you are ovulating, consume some caffeine to increase the chances of Y sperm conception. All the dairy products or calcium rich foods like milk or cheese must be avoided.

Health / Re: What Coke Does To Your Body in 60 minutes by sugardaddy1(m): 11:19am On Sep 18, 2013
Some studies have shown that Coke (soda) boosts the agility of male sperms (Y-Chromosomes) thereby enhancing the conception of male children in humans.

^^^And if timed right, what's wrong with a total ban on importation of vehicles?; it's not as if they're about to ban something we can't do without....like oxygen or water for instance!

This will give serious minded automobile manufacturing coys the 'reason' to set up factories in Nigeria to meet demand. More so if constant power supply is guaranteed!
You have already identified the problem -wrong timing.

Boladearo: Hmmmmm,
I love maths, and am gud in it, ppl advise me not to go for industrial maths, pure maths, and applied maths. My parents want me to go for Medicine and am nt dat gud in biology. Right nw i don't know wat to do. But one of my mentors advise me to go for computer science. Wat is ur opinion, considerin d lack of employement in the country

Go for any of the Engineering courses dude. Maths is a single honour which may limit your chances of employment post-graduation. Computer Science on the other hand is becoming saturated with a lot of the juicy jobs going to the Indians and Chinese on the global scene. On the local scene, the computing field has become congested as you now see people with History, English, Political Science or some other unrrelated backgrounds posessing IT certifications and competing ( and even getting the IT jobs sometimes) before IT graduates.

But mech. is a great course sha cos they come next. i use to envy chemical and elect course until we graduated. Come see fk up for em especially chemical guys, it was a sorry tale. when the are taking 15 -20 civil eng. they'll manage to employ 2 chem. guys. Thats how it is in the oil servicing side but for the IOC proper anyone with a foreign MSc is their choice. not minding your first degree.

Summarry : be prepared to go for your MSc b4 NYSC if you are seriuos about working for the IOC( chevron,Exxon etc)

Many thanks for shedding light on the "My names are..." introduction.I have seen so many people use it unchallenged in the past that I was almost tempted to fall for it. Now I know better not to.

Brennie001: What do what do we do to ASUU? Disolve the union. Some of this lecturers are teaching in a private university that's why they don't want to collect what FG has given them...
Any evidence to substantiate the bolded?
Politics / Re: FG Should Disband ASUU – Anglican Primate by sugardaddy1(m): 1:30pm On Sep 14, 2013
Johnsinia: I find it very hard to believe that the people supporting this wicked and selfish act by ASUU are good studnts. How can a group closs down a nation uni for any reason? If they claim that they are doing it for the studnt, is'nt it an irony? Can any group closs down any sector in America bc the govt faild to pay them? I doubt that, instead, they will protest peacefully for their voice to b heard.
I ve come to conclussion that all these ppl supporting ASUU strike falls into one of these categories below:
1. They are nt studnts
2. They have issues with their GPA hence, they prefered a short down of educatn in Nig. What do u expect a person with a GP of 1.0 or 1.5 to b doing in sch.
3. Are frustrated with educatn. As if educatn na force, why nt go into businex and leave us the studnt alone.
4. Are broke hence, they want the strike to linger a little while. Guys in this category, u r nt the only studnt that needs money, i too need it like mad bt i wil neva pray for anytin that will delay my graduating as 4 when due. I work during holidays to make ends meet and leave the rest 4 God.
5. Hate Jonathan and PDP and are whiling to do anytin to frustrate them even at the expanse of the nation economy and the studnts, they dnt care.
6. Are Boko haram. "Western educatn is a sin." their plans to turn Nig into a nation of fools is gradually coming to fulfilmt. God 4bid.

Strike destroy a nation. It is neva and has neva been a tool to draw the attentn of any govt in the world. Rather, it is a tool used by a group of bitter individuals to bring the govt and the nation as a whole to shambles. What do strike leave us with? Loses, backwardnex, death, hunger, etc. All strikers are terrorist. the same way terrorist short down the economy of a nation is the same way strikers short down the nation's economy.

Strike is nt the way forward and can neva be. It is a tool used by the oppositn to the ruling party to frustrate their govt. The only way forward is CONTINOUS DIALOGUE AND PEACEFUL PROTEST. This is a tool used by 'real educated peace loving people' without causing a disruption to any sector of the economy.
The strike has offered you a golden opportunity to pass your carry overs. Pls use it wisely!

Requirement: You must live in a fenced compound with security man always at the gate smiley

Caution: Be ready to go into hiding within the first 24-48 hrs of usage. If not, if she catches you, na Igbobi straight for you o. grin grin grin

Politics / Re: Mike Ozekhome's Abductors Were Graduates by sugardaddy1(m): 7:51am On Sep 13, 2013
theoctopus: It is a fat lie. Nobody is pushed into kidnapping because of unemployment. They go into it because of greed and materialism. People should stop trying to justify criminals.

1. If they went into it because of unemployment, why dont they pull out and start a business after making like 10 million Naira?

2. If poverty and unemployment is the cause for crime, wont more than half of Nigeria be armed robbers and kidnappers?

3. So why do we have criminals, drug dealers, kidnappers and armed robbers in the USA?

Humans will always be evil when they want to be. The greatest cause for kidnapping is greed. When a man does not know contentment, he will always go out and do whatever he can do to satisfy his greed. That does not in anyway excuse government from doing their duty. Government really needs to do a lot but society itself has to have a kind of renaissance. The Nigerian society is too materialistic and that puts enormous pressure on the average youth, especially from some sections of the country
I was going to like your comment until I saw the bolded. My system has zero tolerance for sectionalism.
