j4jj: Its a big shame dat none of the nigerian stations can show the match live. This govt of ours is so myopic they can embezzle billions nd cannot show jst a qualifying match.Tune to AIT and stop whining |
Afam4eva: I just hope no team withdraws from the league due to finances cos that's the only way some teams can win the league Money don dey now. No more excuses for losers![]() |
honeric01: Rangers have scored 3 goals, conceded 1 goal while Kano pillars have scored 2 goals, yet to concede any goal,i think they should be the one topping or what do you think?Goals for takes priority over goals against |
honeric01: who's the chairman and which local tv stations are likely to start showing the league matches?Nduka Irabor. The thread is up. About the tv rights, i saw the info on AIT but details haven't been given. For now, no station has been mentioned. |
Globacom Tables N550 Million Forleadership.ng/nga/articles/50533/2013/03/20/globacom_tables_n550_million_20122013_npfl_season.html |
I saw in the news last night that the league sponsorship issue has been resolved and globacom will be the sponsors. Also the chairman said the league will be shown on terrestrial stations very soon. I'll put up a thread with the info. |
I had no idea that the Tablets were to be returned upon graduation. It wasnt stated anywhere in the articles I have seen and if indeed that is the case, then its not free na. Its simply a learning tool that belongs to the state. And thats fine by me. I understand the concept my guy. However, Nobody seems to know the state of Public schools in Osun. That the contract contains a support service wasnt stated either, so I wouldnt know. So let me ask how you are getting your information. That it is a great Concept will depend on its use and long term effect which is yet to be seen.
|

Many of the criticisms here are uninformed, although some are very valid. However, there are always bad sides to every good venture. The best thing is to look for ways to manage them and i want to believe the government would have thought it out. I, for one, believe it's a good concept. On the state of public schools, i'm not in osun state, but from what i gather from those i know who live there, the education sector is one area that the government is really working on. I can't say much about the infrastructure since i'm not there (maybe those in osun can give details here) but i know there are policies geared towards improving the standard of education of the state. |

You guys just enjoy running your mouth once you identify folks you think are against anything you support.
lol. I don't think he meant any harm. Please don't be too hard on him. ![]() @topic... Pdp leadership are their own enemies. They've succeeded in turning the little support they had in the SW against them. However, pdp is one party i know can perform one magic or the other to reconcile once elections finally arrive. They've done it several times before. |
Nice thread! Quick question though...why is it that the league has to be on hold because 4 teams are involved in continental competitions? Why can't other teams just go on with their games and the continental participants play their outstanding games during the week, or even have the match arranged some other time. The league started very late and i don't think there's enough time to waste waiting for a few teams before the rest go on with their games. |
Morning house! @uj...i'm glad you're of better cheer now. @muskeeto...guy, you funny o. Lol |

Nembe city, a debutant club, win away from home against heartland of all clubs....dis may be the start of something good in the nigerian league. This hardly happens |
@Sincere9gerian your earlier post says it's a collaboration with the FG through the ministry of police affairs. Why else would the LASG partner the FG if not because they control the police? It is not possible to have such a project without involving the police, controlled by the FG. So saying the credit should go to Jonathan is just being dishonest. |
pcnwamadi: As the number of applications we have received is overwhelming, we encourage you to complete your registration as soon as possible. When i see statements like this, my spider sense tingles. All i hear is ''SCAM ALERT'' ![]() |
